Aloha. Another grey, wet, unseasonally cold day. . .I know it won't last and it's helping the grass, trees and flowers to finally snap into springtime.  Daughter and SiL are coming into town this weekend to go to a Cubs game and the NFL draft festivities downtown. One of the storms this week blew our deck-table umbrella all to bits. Didn't hear or notice it missing. At least that's an easy replacement. Good luck on the continuing search for a new Fifedom. Glad to hear Roy is just busy. 8n, I know the parents will love the Warner Bros theme train. Dennis, it sounds like Pick-A-Part would be a fun place to visit. Ray, I second what RT says - before i went digital, I brought a lot of my old mags to the local VA hospital.

Good Morning from overcast Southern Ohio,

I think I'm going to like this new shift, 4, 10 hour days, Mon through Thurs.  I'm going to paint the utility room today and if the paint dries I'll rehang the cabinets today.

I've been brain dead this week after getting home.  The new hire orientation was Monday, then the rest of the week I've been reading on line training and taking tests.  Hopefully next week I'll get out into the field.

I'd better go as my bride took the kids to school and I'd better be working when she gets home!

May God bless

Jim

The Thomas layout will operate the same days that Thomas will run. I believe the first day is May 1st. I will see what I can find then edit this.

S.J.

OK got it. April 30, May1, May 7/8,May14/15.

Thomas is running inside the Village on their rails so you must pay the village admission fee.

TGIF...........

It was another long week with travels to Lexington, KY and Cincinnati for meetings. Kentucky is beautiful this time of the year.

At work they tell me I should sell 15 x my salary.  So I looked up how much I sold in 2015.  I calculated they need to pay me $295,000?  It does work both ways; doesn't it?

Hopefully the boat goes in the lake this weekend.

Chief......Yes, MTH Realtrax is junk especially the switches.

Enjoyed seeing the photo of York.  Hopefully the fall will work out for me.

Good evening all,

Quiet day at work, but still got a lot done.  Weather was good at noon and I went for a regular walk.  Feet are good.   I mowed most of the yard tonight.  Going was slower than expected and some of the yard is still under water.   Will finish what I can tomorrow if weather cooperates.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good morning all,

Got a sore neck since yesterday.  Nerve pain switched from my right side to the left.  Took some pain pills but hope it goes away.

Our local live steam locomotive "ATSF 3751" is on display this weekend at Fullerton railroad days.  It was at LA union station recently.

Saw some blurb about U.P. 844 running at Frontier Days.  No confirmation though.

Got some good news about our long term health insurance.  I thought there was a 3 month waiting period before claims are paid but it's only two now that we pay out of pocket.

Need to pick up new suit today for son's wedding on May 7th.

Got a new phone for hearing impaired people.  Haven't figured out the volumn control yet. First ring almost took the paint off the wall.  I like the speaker phone feature though so I don't get cauliflour ear from holding the handset.

later,

Ray

Good evening all,

There was a "window over Terre Haute" (means dry weather) early this morning so I finished "baling the hay" (mowing the yard).  Did very little else today.  Planted a tree and watched an EPL match as Arsenal defeated Norwich City 1-0.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Evenin' All.

Busy day today. thankfully it is done.

Ray, 3751 will be doing a round trip excursion between L.A. and Sandy Eggo on 10/1.

http://www.traintrips.biz/2016-Tours/Santa-Fe-3751-Steam-Excursion-2016.php  If it were the other way around I might consider it, even though some of the prices seem a bit high.

Seems like monday's med changes haven't helped as much as I hoped. Will have to touch base with doctor on monday.

Time to call it a day.

Prayers for all in need.

Later y'all !

Mornin' boys.  Widespread rain and 48 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Just got back from the corner drugstore with some Benadryl, as apparently something I consumed last night is making me puffy and itchy this morning.

Good morning,
Cloudy, cold 47, rain, and general overall gloom. Again!  Storm

Installed the goose neck street lamps to the train table yesterday. To yucky outside to do anything outdoors.
Not sure but might do brakes today on Katie's car. I got all the parts delivered, all she has to do is show up.

Fife, how do the viewers take to the layout when they are looking at the house?

This is May day and the Chief overslept. I started a new pot of coffee.

KRM - Have received little feedback on home visits, let alone the layout.
