I've been using Shutterfly for over 10 years - and its still free. I have Windows 7 on my computer and I don't have problems. I have even started using the camera in my phone and uploading directly to Shutterfly and so far no problems.

Busy day, My friend Mark came over and we replaced the AC compressor on his 07 Dodge diesel 1 ton and also fixed the right front ABS sender that had the line cut, then we hooked up to a Old Yellowstone camper he is getting from my neighbor Brian down the lane to use as a hunting shed. Checked the air in the tires and lights and sent him on his way. Tomorrow I will go to Plainfield and ride with him to his dads in Indianan to grind out some stumps with my stump grinder. Then maybe Monday I will get out of here and go North to Mark's place in northerner WI. He plans on dragging the camper up there on Friday. Wife said her new tires are nice. Getting ready to do Brats, steamed beans and potatoes for din din. have a good one.
Oh, Hey......
Yeah, still kicking.........How y'all been??
It'll take me a few to get caught up, but I'll try.......now that I have the time...
Got laid off last Tuesday. Don't cry for me, the timing is incredibly bad, since the Princess and the BF are coming up soon...yup, I sealed that deal over Easter. Drove down to visit them in ol' Jax, FLA USA....had a great time.
SOOOOOO....I won't be working every other Saturday and 66+ hours a week, being subjected to customers that act like 2 year olds, I've been threatened with death, slow torture and the like....not to mention the customer surveys....OY VEY!!
I took the recent down time to finish the 'ol road runner, she is streetable and runs well. If I have the funds, will be taking her to Sterling, VA for Memorial Day Weekend.
Had 3 interviews since, my blood pressure is down, I'm at the gym 2X a week and now softball 2X a week, plus fire calls and all that. Almost like I was retired...LMAO!!!
Hopefully will be checking in more, if this software allows...
See ya soon!!

Good evening all,
Day two of staying at home. Did very little. Foot is healing and I can walk without pain, but it just takes time. AJ's team did get a fifth at Long Beach and Sato is 6th in points. I have been going thru paperwork at home and taking care of odds and ends. Anjdevil2, sorry about the job loss, but you do not seem too broken up over it. Something will turn up. As far as CTT is concerned, if it keeps getting published, all is good. We just have to savor the fewer pages more. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 51 in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mow the lawn and finishing the yatchett on the docket today.
anjdevil - Thanks for reporting in. Going to the gym after retirement is overrated. Case in point; Laz and I both needed equal amounts of help getting up from our kneeling positions at the CTT photo...
Morning all. Cold front came through. Only 65 degrees out. Going to the mid 70's today. Need to jab you Yanks. 88 high yesterday was not normal for this time of the year. Chores today.

Morning all
Fife
No real big plans at present.
Need to make some important decisions around here about a few things ( insurance company, how far to go with the roof? etc)
Good Morning!
Think I have it figured out, something on my laptop is preventing me from sending files to Shutterfly, log in and everything is fine. Anyway that's a problem for another day.
Here is a couple of pictures of the layout;
Track Plan:
I guess I'm limited to 2 photos, had a 3rd but not working.
A little background info,
The Dr has been collecting stuff since the 70's, and believe me there isn't any method to his desires. He has been working on a layout concept for the last 10 years, and focused on maximizing trackage. His SIL convinced him to use Ross track and switches, even though he has all switches and track from Lionel. Some of the inherent problems I've encountered.
I'm not complaining but sure didn't realize what I was getting into! The outside grade is completly enclosed making it double difficult to access wiring for switches or power drops and isolation. The son and daughter started wiring but gave up, so that is how I got involved. I am almost finished with it, I have moved and removed the stuff under the layout so many times I'm wearing groves in the plastic totes. The biggest problem is the switches a lot of them are almost floating and very unstable so the motor operation is difficult. Also as each switch requires 6 wires it has been a pain. I also built a Control Panel with LEDs and toggles which adds a lot of wiring. The only thing left is trying to get the switches to work reliably and a few clean up items. Just to add more he is a novice regarding operation so there is a lot of training involved as well. The biggest issue as I didn't look before I leaped when I accepted this job. The good news is he is a real nice guy, so trying to do the best for him. (Finished hooking up the turntable yesterday so not to go start on the switches.)
Thanks for letting me rant.
Hope you all have a great day!
Don
Another quiet day at home. Having some drama getting the truck fixed. Parts are hard to find for a 17 year old truck. Weather is nice. Foot is better. I hope everyone has a good day.
Howdy, gang!!
First softball game was a success!! Went 1 for 3 and scored....geez, I beat out 2 throws....I'm like the fastest guy on the team...LMAO!!!
3 fire calls today, a couple more applications and set up 1 interview for tomorrow. Registered for unemployment last week. And so it goes....
Yeah, I'm not really all that upset. I need to get back my life. I'm much happier for the short term....
Fife....Yeah, next time, I'll take a knee for ya.....anything for a buddy!!
I did register for America's 9/11 Ride in August. Schenksville to Pentagon to Ground Zero. Bike is ready. It's the last ride, so this is one off the bucket list.
Mom going in for a new shoulder and socket next Thursday, so at least I can make that trip to Philly with her.
Cooking dinner...hot dogs!!
Check ya later!!
Very nice Don!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting those pictures.
Been gone most of the day, Just got home and ate, One big stump is gone. It was good to see Bud but three hours almost to get there. I left my stump grinder with Mark to do a few he needs to get done in Plainfield. So not much else to say about the day other than I hate driving into Peopleville. So glad to get 3 miles west of Plainfield back into the fields.
Good Evening for beautiful Southern Ohio,
It was sunny and the low 80's F today. I assisted a the Elementary School Mass today then worked on utility room some more. I disconnected and capped off the supply and drain where the washer was and put the color coat on the wall cabinets and between coats cut grass. Going to patch the drywall tomorrow.
Recycling the cabinets saves a lot of money and they are better built than most you would buy today.
Calling for rain tonight. My bride grilled pork loin chops for supper with fried potatoes. Kids all good. Only running to town was Gabriel wanted to watch the High School baseball team play.
Chief - Sounds like great leadership and cooperation going on!
Brent - I use photobucket, but the adds are frustrating.
Kev - pack a set of wheel bearings and a spare. Setting is hard on those.
Mitch - I was laid off the end of February, and going to start a new job this Monday. The almost two months off have proven to me I could really enjoy retirement.
Don - The doctor's layout looks fantastic!
Time for showers, prayers and bed
Good night and may God bless
Jim
Mornin' boys. Splashin' the yatchett today at 1300 hrs. You're all invited!
Stay foamy.
Wait for me Fife!!!!
Good morning.
Sun is out and it is 60 degrees. Just enough rain late yesterday and last night to make thing pop green and will keep the farmers off the roads today. They having been been going at planting this week. A bit sore from standing behind that stump Grinder yesterday and I let Mark do most of it so I wonder how he feels today. Otherwise just some running to do and that is about it.
Had a good day yesterday, kinda. I screwed up though, when I was hooking up all the switches I didn't connect the "Non-Derailing" feature. I was thinking that with the switches being so close together it would be ineffective. Yesterday he asked about doin it and wants it done. I should have done it initially! Now I have to lift every switch and add two wires then splice them into the switch wiring harness. Oh well I own it.
Taking today off, and taking wife to Disneyland, (think I would rather be working). Need to keep the home fires calm.
Good luck with the Yatchet today Fife, sounds relaxing, but know today is probably more work than fun.
Kev, How far behind the stump grinder were you? I would have been at least 15 feet.
Going to get busy and on with the day.
Have a great day all!
Lite rain and 60s today.
Did my first grass cut of the season yesterday.

I was way closer than that Don. Here is a link to the same one I have and how it works.

Great little unit for small stuff but can beat you to death on big stumps like the 3' one we did yesterday.
Aloha. Turning out sunny and warm today - can't wait to take the dog for a walk. Grocery shopping and laundry done. A little work too. That's some great ball playing, Rich. Boy, Don, that's quite a layout project. Looks impressive and a bit ...weird. Like you said, a lot of track. Glad to hear the yachett is launching, Fife. Even with this weather, nothing gets going out here until Memorial Day...
Tonight I will go to an honor society induction for our youngest - proud of him as school has been hard. Tomorrow is our anniversary - 27 years. Forgot to get a card at the store so should probably head back out.

Just a quick note to all my friends who have been praying for my wife and me. Yesterday I made the decision to put her in a long term care facilty that specializes in care for memory loss in all it's forms as well as physical care. We should be making the transfer soon and I am looking forward to some much needed rest and trying to get my life back.

Ray, Prayers for you in this time of making some tough/hard decisions.
Ray a very hard decision you had to make there. Prayers for the both of you. But not sure this will help but from what you have been saying it almost sounded like if you didn't you might of ended up there from stress.
Evening all. The other week I got a set of metal brown passenger cars Post war ones any way I had won 2442 (2) and a 2443 I open the box and loved them and put them on my shelf well then I get a email from Trainz my purchase was being shipped ( this was yesterday ) What happened was they sent me two 6442's and a 6443. So now my 2442's and 2443 is on there way, I already been in contact with them and there sending a lable to ship the original ones back. I told the lady at the other end you mean I don't get to keep them, She goes No I don't think so. I know by law if you get something in the mail and didn't request it you can keep it but this is a little different. Thats if someone sent you something and then wanted to charge you for it. Any way I won another set of tin passenger cars last night two 6442's two 2443's all Brown and a 2430 ( Blue )
Any way not much else going on here today. About ready to get supper going. Hope all had a good day today.
Tough decision, Ray, I know it was hard.
Praying for you and your family.
Another quiet day at home. Did get the truck back. Been watching John Adams on DVD. Wife got it for me a few years back and never got around to watching it. Pretty good. Ray, thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife. Sad to hear about Prince today. Like or hate his music, he was a major player in the recording industry for a long time. I hope everyone has a good day.
Morning all. Hope this Friday ( TGIF) is a good one for all. Nothing planned for today 69* going up to 79* today. I'm supose to get a package today not train related but it appears another one is also coming as they both are at the Fedex location in Columbia, S.C.
Not much else going on
Rain yesterday and cloudy and colder today 80 by Sunday.Rain washed some of the fines into and off of the new gravel. Those fines make a mess.
Wife is burning another day off.
Tough decision, Ray, you two are in our prayers. I would nope to never have to go through what you have been going through. God Bless you.
The switch for the wife's tail hatch and two log cars I ordered show out for delivery. So I will have some garage and train room work today. Got to do my weather tring on those crappy looking plastic Lionel log loads so they will look like logs.
Nothing much else.
Raining and thunder. .90" and going. Out to the Train Box for a work session.
About stole a 19.2 Craftsman reciprocating saw. Regularly $69.99. On sale in store for $49.99. I had seen online $39.99. Nice lady from the Islands [accent] helped me. She checked the online. Gave me the $39.99. Had $10.00 in points. Walked out with it for $32.00. Not bad. Got two already. Those are plug ins.
Ray, so sorry. She will be better off. You need the rest. God bless.
Pam's Mom not long.
Have a good one.
TGIF!!
Another day, another interview....will have another one next week with the local manager.
Tried to rain but only thunder...cloudy right now.
Heavy rescue drill with cars and tractor-trailers, that after my work out made for one tired puppy, then got up way too early.
Had lunch with a friend in Trenton today. Tomorrow have to get a new tire - bubble in the sidewall - then off to electrion training for primary in June, extra bucks....GF treats for dinner in Elizabeth tomorrow night.
Hope to sleep in tomorrow, may til 10AM, but we'll see......
Chief - nice score!!
