Been busy this past week.  Chores yesterday and the usual mow for neighbors and self.

Ray, so sorry.  Prayers for you and your wife too.  You are a special guy for that.

Dougsnotagrump, I need to get yuo to cook for me some.  That sounded great.  Get better.

Good evening all

A good day.  Daughters were here with families.  Celebrated some birthdays.   Mowed the yard before they got here.   Had the alumni varsity game for the soccer girls.  I "coached" alums.  We were ahead 2-0 at one point but the alums got tired and we lost 9-3.  Still our best performance ever.   It was a good day.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Mornin' All.

Yesterday was museum day, all went well with no "pile-ups". Today is Kid's Club day but I've got one more Dr visit on Monday, hopefully only one, before resuming full activities.

Think this will hurt: https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ss8RdZLPCvs . Don't think somebody knew the terrain nor their vehicle very well.

Gotta get moving, lots to do.

Good afternoon,

I'm still praying for you Ray.

Today will be a busy day for us.  Tomorrow, we will drive up to the Boston area as I will be working there next week.  The family has never been up that way before so I'm bringing them along.  There is plenty for them to see and do while I am working.  Then on Saturday, we will drive to my hometown in PA to visit my family.  We will be there two nights and then drive down to the beach in NC.  It should be a fun time but I may not have much time to post while on the road.

Good evening all,

Ray, our thoughts and prayers are with you as well.  It is never easy no matter the circumstances.

Today was a very good day.  I got a potentially lengthy and involved project completed at work.  A new and much simpler dryer vent was installed at the house.  Got to see my granddaughter perform in her first musical and CTT came today.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Ray so sorry to hear but you knew it was coming and you did get to go see her a year or so ago and I'm glad you did but please remember she is suffering no more she is now in the hands of the healer and is in peace. Remember the good times you had as kids and grown ups and I will say extra prayers for you and your family at this time of your lost and one extra for your sister.

Take care Ray

Good evening all,

Sad day for us.  One of my sisters passed away this afternoon.  She had fought cancer for several months.  She lived in Virginia with her husband.  I'm sorry that I won't be able to go back for the funeral due to my health and the need to take care of my wife.  They understand my situation but it grieves me.  I have another sister with cancer but she is doing great.  Thank the Lord for that.

later,

Ray

Good evening,

Today was a fun day.  I took part in a charity golf tournament and had a great time.  I am a terrible golfer, but it sure beats being in the office any day.  The weather was a bit warm and I definitely worked on my tan.  The wife and I went out for dinner by ourselves which is always a treat.

Have a great night,

Joe

Good evening,

It is sunny and in the 80s again so I am happy.  It is extremely nice in the morning as I'm driving to work.  However, I believe a heat wave is on its way.  I left work early today as today is the oldest child's birthday; the princess is now 14.  That takes care of all the kids' birthdays until next July.  The youngest is feeling a little better today as well.

Have a great night,

Joe

Good afternoon,

WOW someone turned up the heat, AC is back on and looks like it will stay on.

Took Sandra to Ottawa to Walgreens and the low air pressure light came on in the truck. Got out and looked and sure enough I had a screw in the right front. Came home took the tire off and took it to town. $10  later I was home and it is back on the truck.

Wife is watering plants. I thinking about a beer.  Beer

SJ, No BLTs here. All the maters got drowned.

G'day All.

Busy cooking, I be Chef-du-jour for tomorrow. Doing something a bit different for tomorrow, Italian Sausage sandwiches and Mac-n-cheese made with Pepper Jack and Colby cheese.  The Mad Chef is at it again. Laugh[

We will be putting up with the gas prices for quite awhile. The fire at the refinery has put it totally out of comission and I believe the figure I heard was it produced about 20% of the gas used in SoCal. But what really is not helping is the fact that the Ca. regulatory agencies have not allowed the construction of any new refineries in like 50 to 60 years.

Got all my stuff packed and ready for tomorrow, of course all of the various tubs had to meet the weight approval by SWMBO. Hopefully Monday the restrictions will be lifted.

Back to the kitchen, later all.

Chief I think your right about Edison but somebody's going around pretending to be him. I had 2 real BLTs for lunch, so I finally have some maters too. So there. Ha

sir james I
Sun and 80s today. Edison just installed their new meters that send a signal to them. No more meter readers. More jobs gone. Lot's of debate about these meters but Edison is going ahead with their plans regardless. S.J.

Thought Edison died years ago. Confused

Afternoon all.  Been busy lately.  Stopping by to catch up.   Bigline of T'storms went through.  Tomato sandwiches for lunch.

Congrats Jim.

Doug W., keep getting better.

Where is RT?

Have a good one.

Mornin' Fellas

Just received new that was anticipated, but the desired outcome for me. Answers one question, but now creates a couple new ones. Looks like I have a few things to discuss with TheQ tonight. Sad

RedFire - Congrats again on the engagement! If I ever get to Berlin, MD I will have to check out that train store.

Gotta run... will be stoping by more frequently in the near future. Smile

Hello,

Today's weather was fantastic.  It was sunny all day and the high was in the low 80s.  It was around 55 when I went out for a quick 3-mile run this morning and it felt great.  The youngest was not feeling so hot today, so he spent most of it watching the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies.  It's time to get some sleep.

Congratulations Jim!  That's great news.

SP Ray - I'm sorry about the loss of your friend.

Good night,

Joe

Good evening all,

It was a very very good day at work.  Those potentially dark clouds have been chased away and I got a lot done on a variety of tasks.  A Lionel GN RS-3 that I bought off an LCCA member arrived today and it looks great.  The game went as expected tonight.  We lost by double digits as we only had 10 people and we played the number one seed.  The weather is very nice and work on the house is continuing.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana
