Mornin' boys.  Partly cloudy and 64 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Both fifepup and middle princess vehicles are in the shop, at the worst time for me; too much fifebus.  Oh well...

lionroar 88 - ...with great fear and trepidation. Yes.

Buckeye - About an hour to my west.  Potomac Eagle less than 10 minutes to my east, and Cumberland a half hour to the north.  And a century ago, the Twin Mountain and Potomac would have been 15 minutes to my south.

rt - Hawk's Nest is on my "coal bucket" list, but is definitely an overnight trip.

Good evening all,

Busy day.  Dental visit and oil change both took much longer than anticipated.  Did some much needed yard work.   Made some needed phone calls on matters relating to the house.  Now have 3 medical visits scheduled on June 8th.   Opening day at track for oval practice.   Younger daughter having trip from h--- to DC today.  Left this morning and still not there.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good Evening

Raining here now, and the temperature dropped a bit. We are on a severe thunderstorm watch here though.

After getting groceries we spent the day putzing in our garden getting some stuff planted and talking to neighbours.

Hope everyone has a good evening

Afternoon fellas

Seems we have all be busy adding to the reserves for Fife's pending 'retirement'. Smile Had a relatively nice weekend with the family. This morning Christina got her cast removed, but apparently that was not enough to earn her forgiveness for the doctor. LOL. She has shown no signs of improvement with the knee or ankle so she is now in a walking boot for 2 weeks. She is home resting with mommy... sure there will be lots of stories tonight.

Mornin' boys. A little patchy fog and 70 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Spent the weekend in WV with an impromptu visit with Fifemom.  Hadn't seen her in months, and it meant so much.  We talked, and fished, and basically were just connected at the hip. Stopped by the new fifedom acreage to do a little more site surveying.  Looks like the structure will be a little closer to the road, due to the big crane that has to put everything in place.  Also, will give wifey the mountain back drop she wants.  Could hear a wild turkey nearby, and a rooster way off in the distance, but that's about it.

Banks - Nuptuals in 2 weeks.  Then I'll be busy as Hudson John watching grandson for ten days.

Hudson - Mom is lucky to have you. YesSmile, Wink & Grin

Blueberry - Any Cake left?

Happy Mother's day!

Good evening,
Chuck, Happy Birthday. Good trick having it on Mother’s day. Smile, Wink & Grin
Day started out like Doug’s but as the day wore on it just got better. Never got a drop of rain they said we would but we have enough. MY pal in Denton TX dodged the tornadoes and like Roy they are all happy about the lakes filling up. With exception of those washed away or blown away that is.  Surprise
Both kids made a call into Sandra but they were no shows otherwise. Indifferent

Aloha and happy Mothers Day to all the moms from a grey, wet and cold northeastern Illinois. We didn't get near the rain that Kev's old neighborhood did, but enough to keep everything green. I think the bride enjoyed her big day, especially as I took the boys out for an afternoon of visiting hobby, toy and video game stores.

Happy Birthday ChuckCake

Been awol again. Just really busy. Really intense week coming up so likely I will not be able to post until next week.

Hudson John - great to hear from you. Angel for your mom, you, and the family in this tough time. Good luck!

Had tons of rain here. I think most all the lakes are full. Our direct supply lakes are and now there is flooding in the area due to all the rain.

Had a great Mothers Day here and daughter is here tonight cooking for the family.

Have a great week all!

Regards, Roy

Getting ready for church.  Just remembered I have to fill out my ticket stubs and turn in the money today for a church raffle during our Festival next week end.  Need a rubber stamp.

Son bought flowers for his mother and I cooked a big breakfast.

Happy Mother's Day ALL!

Happy Birthday Chuck !!!!Happy B-Day

SJ -  Charlie sure did a fantastic job on the Video, looks like lots of fun.

Chief - Sure hope you wiped your feet off before going in the house yesterday.  I sent an email to the City Council, (Cerritos was previously Dairy Valley, and the intercity bus line is called the COW, Cerritos on Wheels.)  Suggested they might consider such an event as a local fund raiser, but they are already flinging so much BS, and they thought it could create a major scene trying to distinguish the difference.

Did get garage finished, now if the weather holds the next project is painting the pool heater/filter.  THEN the G-Scale dogbone in the backyard.

Later, Have a GREAT Day,

Don

Good evening all,

Sato got a top 10 for AJ so it was not a bad day.  Only a little bit of rain before the race, and we got to walk on the track afterwards.   Will Power won for Penske, but Rahal made the Hondas look good with a 2nd.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good evening,
Got a 1” of rain last night. Some got more some got less, spotty it was. Where we used to live they got 2.6" so who knows? More on the way for tonight and tomorrow. Got groceries. Messed with my Marx motor grafting job. Added an E-unit to the 1666 motor and now need the spreader bar for the Canadian Pacific engine to fit it in.
Also working on some power up-grades on the loops on the fare side of the layout from the transformer but had to stop till I can get more wire.
Have a good one tomorrow for mother’s day for those of you who still have moms. The rest be good to the mother of your children.

Good evening all,

My first post in May & also since York.  Summer has arrived here, think we skipped spring.  Farmers are pretty well along in planting and the lawns are looking good.  Only down side is we are 4.5" short for the year in rainfall.  Hope we make this up, may get some from the tropical storm heading up the East coast.

Enjoyed York and meeting up with old friends.  Didn't buy much as I am trying to downsize the collection somewhat.

Enjoy the rest of Mother's Day weekend.

Aloha. Grey and cooler today. It rained overnight which made the dandelions grow tall and all the other weeds that kind of make up the lawn. It's funny how a little moisture makes everything turn so green. Showed off the layout to an appraiser who stopped by as part of a HELOC renewal. The bride wanted to clean the whole house before he got here. I talked her into going to the library as I knew the guy would be here only 5 minutes. . . Don, that's always a nice drive down Rt. 2 along the Rock River. As you know, it's only about 40 minutes from here.
