To be honest today has been a little crazy went into work to come home because of having hard time catching my breath this has been going on for a while seems to be getting worst. They can't really find anything. Chest hurts also. so went to ER again ( went the first time back on 19th of March) They think its acid reflux ( the first time thought to much liquid in me also ) any way I understand where acid reflux could cause chest pains but not the shortness of breath ( Dennis where are you when we need you Buddy)

anyway I still feel tightness in chest tonight and it seem to get worst with any exertion.

Good luck RT, best of luck with all of that, take it from me I have been there and done that too. Remember Valentines day for me?. At the date today $3,180 out of pocket for the day and a half of them messing with me with NO ANSWERS AT ALL!!! Super AngryThat will give a healthy man a heart attack. Surprise You must have a lot better INS than I do.

Jimmy T, Your not making me feel too good about the 1615 but I will take it apart again tomorrow. I just thought it was the E-unit. Crying

WTF, Good night Guys. Bang Head

Rough day at work today. Stuck behind a laptop all morning(I guess that is part of my job though). Meetings through the mid-day. Out on a service call in the afternoon which led to two hours of overtime.

Happy Birthday Dennis!

Roy sorry to hear about your neighbor ... prayers sent to them. My dad and grandpa both passed away when they were 62.

Still have not set my layout back up. Going through withdraws. About ready to set a simple circle up on the dining room table!

Dennis,

              Happy B-Day

Fife, Laz, and Jack,

                                     Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Kev,

Not to worry you, but I had a 2037 that was acting like your 1615.  Wouldn't move until it was given a shove.  The cause was severe wear to the armature pinion and cluster gear.  Stripped it for parts.  Still, clean and lube the 1615 and see if that helps.  That 2037 was an extreme case.

It has finally started to warm up in SW PA.  Spent Tuesday and Wednesday installing the last bits of the Ford Racing FR3 Handling Pack on the Mustang.  $$ but well worth it.  After work today I removed the aftermarket shifter and reinstalled a stock shifter out of another 07 GT.  No more notchiness or high effort.  Not good when going back to stock is an upgrade in performance.

anyway I still feel tightness in chest tonight and it seem to get worst with any exertion. IE walking to hand out trays handing out trays ( let alone if I have to push one of those carts)

Then in the mail I get a letter from the V.A. ( well let me back up a few months) back around the early fall S.C. came out with that there computers been compromised well today get a letter that one of the laptops which had my last name last 4 and maybe even date of birth was stolen from the V.A. and it had 7200 patients info on it that went Thur cardiology. here we go again.

Just been sitting around today relaxing as had a rough night last night almost went into the ER actually thought of calling for a ride in the big white boxes they have around here.

Afternoon All.

Gotta agree with the other comments, enforce existing laws before creating new ones. Grumpy

Dennis, Happy B-Day and many more to come ! Cake Beer

Spent all morning in the ER, woke up in the wee hours of the morning with shortness of breath and some minor chest pains. Long story short, water retention after all the less than healthy foods during Easter and the Better-Half's birthday luncheon on Tuesday. A Laisix injection and many trips to the head I'm feeling a lot better, not to mention a lot lighter. At least they didn't keep me overnight. Smile, Wink & Grin

Museum tomorrow is kinda up in the air, the BetterHalf says no but I believe a "wait-n-see" decision is more accurate. Sigh

Later All.

Hi GUYZ again,

BeerHappy B-DayBeerHappy B-DayGiftBeerHappy B-DayV8MANNNNNN!!!!!!!  Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!  TOOT that WHISTLE....

JACK, great analogy with the cars.  Another thing to consider is that the media jumps right on anything where someone was killed with a gun.  Drug dealers, gang bangers, murder suicides, the press and TV are all over it.  But there are countless crimes that are averted with law abiding citizens carrying guns that never get any press at all.  Case in point when a deranged person has a knife coming at someone and that someone pulls out a gun that would be incident was just averted but no one ever hears these things.  How many crimes there would be and even deaths without law abiding citizens carrying to protect themselves?  No one will ever know, but the media is the biggest advocate for guns being nothing but bad.  They will try and shove this down peoples throats until they believe every word and change peoples minds about guns.  A nation with gun control will turn into a nation of slaves.  Sorry GUYZ off my rant.

Stay frosty my friends,

Hmm Maybe, and my 2046 is a really good source of it!

Good afternoon.

Feeling kinda tired, but it isn't anything to complain about. Besides, I guess one would feel tired after school with Jazz Band practice not long afterwards.

Hope to get the propeller mounted on the 109, maybe followed by some minor body work (it requires almost no body work, compared to the P-38J, which needed MAJOR work).

SP Ray – The big thing these scammers are looking for is your personal information which they piece together with other information they might have on you in order to fully steal your identity.  However, based on what actions the scammer instructed you to do while on the phone, they may be able to remote in to your computer and access everything you have on it, or use it for illegally transferring contraband over the internet.  I would place fraud alerts on all your accounts and monitor them.  Also, do as Jack stated and have a professional see if anyone has been poking around in your computer.  Unfortunately, many local police departments do not investigate these matters because tracking down the culprits is extremely difficult, but I’d still file a report so it is on file should you need it in case you become an identity theft victim.

Joe, I did file a report with the police yesterday and cancelled some other things.  I ran a complete system scan on my computer with an anti virus tool I have and found nothing.  Fortunately, I do no internet banking and have nothing on my computer files except pictures and things like that.  My computer seems to be running normally today so I haven't detected any problems so far.

V8 Dennis, Happy birthdayHappy B-Day  Welcome to the 70 plus club.  Hope you don't get priced out of the market for target shooting.  How about those BB guns?  Are they just the Red Rider type or would they be something more modern that would work for target shooting?  They haven't put any restrictions on BB's yet have they?

Ray

Good morning. It's 43° with 100% humidity. The high will be 58°.

Well I guess today I'll clean up the layout a bit and boot what's left of the old computer out the door. It still has the media center and Zip drive in it. Both of those quit working several years ago and I had no need to remove them. The old DVD drive (doesn't like to open and sometimes forgets there's a CD/DVD in it) will be opened up for looting! There's got to be some goodies in there that I can use.

Re the discussions on gun control......FIFE and LAZ have summarized it in a nutshell.  Treat the source, and enforce the laws already on the books.  Rhetoric and "feel good" words on a piece of paper don't get it done.  And they don't replace responsibility and common sense.

We had an adult conversation about this when the daughter and son-in-law came over a few weeks back.  First, we went over the most recent Connecticut school tragedy in which the mother of the shooter had so many choices and exercised zero common sense and safeguards when she decided to take up a hobby with her son.  I did my best to remain silent (for me) and only interject a challenge here and there to put some perspective on it.

"If we are in agreement that, versus gun violence, an exponentially higher number of innocent people die in unnecessary car 'accidents' a year due to the gross negligence of others, then it follows you would also be in favor of: having the federal government mandate ultra-low horsepower vehicles (because speed kills), reducing the maximum speed limit to 35mph, raising the legal driving age to 25, outlawing the sale of all alcohol (again), mandating cell phone jammers in all vehicles, and outlawing all coffee drinking and eating in motor vehicles.  Which of these things would you be willing to give up to reduce the unnecessary carnage?"

They didn't like any one of the recommendations that impacted them directly (all of them) and thought they were all extremist ideas, punishing all law-abiding, responsible individuals because of the actions of a few.  "I rest my case.  Cars kill, but you don't care about that."

Jack

LAZ  YES  These pop ups are ANNOYING!!!! Dots - Sign

First day using Google Chrome for a browser a lot to adjust to, like where do they hide your bookmarks once you have opened a page?? Huh?  I loaded my bookmarks on a thumb drive so I still have them but I am not sure how to move them to Goggle. Things seem to load faster than with IE8

I was looking forward to getting out of Dodge this week but better weather is a coming so it can wait.

I need to shop for birthday gifts for one granddaughter and the grandson on my son's side. Both are the first week of next month.Hmm

Not much else to report.

 Have a good one guys.

Good morning.

I'm feeling better now than I was last night, so I'm happy about that. Applied my 109's nose decal, and man THAT wasn't easy, but it still turned out better than I thought it was going to. Will seal the decal tonight and add the propeller to my 109.

Hello all

Back in the Ol' Pueblo.

Had a nice ride on the new bike after dropping the truck off @ work. Needs a few adjustments, but I really like it! It gets front brakes tomorrow and the baskets go on soon.

Seems like a  bunch of the guys got a haircut. Guess it is getting warmer here. I think that's on the list for tomorrow, along w/ dropping off the taxes, and washing the dust off the car.

Kev - that's a lot of ore cars! Beautiful! PW stuff is the best.

CharlieBrown - welcome!

Jack - I'll try a get a pic of the H-21 when I go to the museum. Doubt I can get it and the Corvair in the same shotTongue Tied I still got Dad's nav wings around somewhere, have to dig them out.

Time to go hug the cat and find a pillow.

Konnichiwa,

What a turn in the weather today.  I woke up to glorious sunshine and a much warmer temperature.  It makes being inside at work all day extremely difficult.  The workday is progressing quickly though which is a plus.  I have a parents-coaches meeting this evening for the upcoming baseball season.  Afterwards, I’ll grill some Kobe steaks for dinner.

I put my old computers hard drive (WinXP) into an external drive casing and I'm now scanning it for viruses and other nasty stuff. I don't think anything will turn up but you can't be too careful. Once that's done I'll be able to pull up my favorites list and transfer it over to Windows 8. That list was started back when I was using Win98.

Well it's time to call it a night. See y'all tomorrow.
