Good Morning,
Rainy morning in Central Jersey.
Mike thanks for sending the dining car here. I had a danish and it hit the spot.
Did you ever notice that interest is generated if you are a fan of that brand or not if you mention a Mustang or 57 Chevy?
Thoughts and prayers for all in need.

Good morning all,
IIABSDISEI with temps in the 70s. I had bacon and biscuits on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East". TBIL and I can drive. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on trainng,
Mike C. from Indiana
Nice break in the weather this weekend. High 70's and low 80's this weekend.
Got some yard work done, wandered through a car show downtown, stopped by the LHS and ordered a couple of PE accessories. My wife keeps talking about a Polar Express program of some sort at the depot museum in early December. I suspect that there will be layout of some sort involved.
The most interesting car downtown was not in the show. It was a '57 Chevy 4 door sedan that had been chopped about 6" that was parked on one of the side streets. A difficult job that was done nicely. The windshield and back light angles matched the roof and looked right.
Watched the rain fall in Montrieal this afternoon. Was a pretty good F1 race, once they got it going.
Chief said he got his SS check last week. He's probably spent it on grits driveway patch already, so it is off to work tomorrow doing my part to refill the SS fund.
All for now.
Sounds like a great trip, Dennis!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Good evening everyone. Been away for over a week as we took a vacation out to Las Vegas. No, don't gamble, or get into risque behavior, but we did have some fun. We got bumped up to the penthouse at the Hilton GV on the strip...very nice. Then, I had rented a helicopter to take our family on a tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We landed on the floor of the canyon and had lunch. Great photo ops. Only a few train related items...we went to M&M World and they had some MTH items, a few box cars and a trolley set along with some buildings. All over-priced.
Got back this morning and caught a few winks before heading to church.Jim, good luck on the new wheels. Never owned a mustang. Hope she serves you well. It has been a long wait and it seems things are turning in your favor.
Hope to catch up on the goings on more later.God Bless,Dennis

Brent,
That's Phase III. I am fraid to type any more along those lines.
Fife,
I'll never change my username or get rid of the PGT. I have no choice but to use it as my daily for the time being, as well as a winter car unless I can find a cheap beater.
Thanks all for the compliments. I took it out and practiced a bit more today and tried starting out on a hill. Definitely need more practice there. I spent last night standing in the garage and playing with the Mycolor option, which is great. I need to call about rustproofing asap as well. It is clean underneath, and I want it to stay that way.
Good Evening
60s today, that was it.

Howdy guys - not much going on here today. I finished the plumbing job and so far so good. I'll check for pinhole leaks tomorrow - nothing so far (fingers crossed). Mowed the lawn, but got stuck in some mud, what a mess. Had to get some help to move the mower - won't be doing down in the trees with it, that's for sure. Old one is fixed up good enough, so it's no problem. Then we went to my brother's house for dinner as it was my Goddaughter's birthday. I'm WORN OUT
Don - cool engine, love it! Sounds like lots of good stuff going on around here - prayers for us all and for our intentions!
TARDIS is ready, so let's get a move on boys!
Good evening all,
IIABSDISEI with temps in the 70s. Basically a non-weekend. Too tired Friday from Thursday's concert to do anything. Loaded up last load for one daughter to take to her on Saturday and delivered same. Went to a graduation party and house warming party as well while down there. Sunday was spent mowing and trimming two yards with Lucas' help. Bad weekend race wise. Team Red won both ends of Texas Twin 275s while AJ's team, SFR and the Swiss Miss were non-factors. Sat down to watch F-1 race only to see a two hour rain delay. Not much positive from this weekend. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Just got back from da Bronx and, sorry Chuck, but the Yankees win again! The girls and I sat in the bleachers today. I hadn't done that in decades. We had alot of sun and some of us got a burn.
Hudson John - Yes that was my wife's grandfather that had the accident with the train some time back in the late sixties. At that time there were no lights or gates at the crossing. He was in a green pickup truck. The family swore off any green vehicles since. I swore off riding with her grandfather.
Having a great weekend!

Hi GUYZ,
WIFEs , so her parents came down and we went to buffet at Hollywood Casino. Pretty good! I just walked around for 3 hrs. and didn't spend a dime on the slots would rather spend money foolishly on trains and golf. Had a nice time anyway. Drove home in big hail storm had to pull off road. Suppose to put an end to this humid weather.
Tomorrow starts MINNIE CAMP at 0500. So watch out FIFE and BUCKEYE your legs are gonna be a hurtin.
Stay frosty and watch your topknot,

Good afternoon from PA.
Probe, That is one good looking Mustang. Think I'll go shopping. Keep telling myself that I don't really need a pickup, hardly ever haul anything.
Having crazy weather here, two tornado warnings in two days. Thankfully neither one amounted to anything other than a scare.
Doug, sounds like the way I "clean", just move things around a little .
Have a nice week ahead.
Hey Y'all.
Beginning to wakeup a bit. Long friday and saturday really started the arthritis barking so not much sleep.
Chuck, Look on the brite side, you're not a San Diegan and watching the Padres.
Probie, Sweet ride, bet the ladies will like it but with that nice shiney red paint so will the State Troopers.
Buckeye, on the video and the outdoor layout.
The better half picked up a Bachmann "G" Gold Rush set at an estate sale yesterday for $20. Only an "entry" level set but looks as if it really never been run, other than one curve section being tweeked it runs great. For that price I won't be if it takes a header off the dry wash trestle to about a 3ft stop.
Got your Father's Day Wish List made out ?
Did some cleaning in the "Train Room" this morning , moved a bunch of boxes to the garage. At least it looks better, still ain't got enuff room for the goodies.
Check back later, gotta do some runnin' around with the better half.

Morning all!
Spent the day on the lake yesterday although by noon it got really windy. Took 15-20 minutes to go 8 miles to a lake restaurant the kids wanted to go to, but we made it there and back. Good time was had by all. Son is now off this morning on a week long mission trip to NM to do some rebuilding work on a reservation.
Watched some Lemans last night and the finish this morning. Turbo diesel Audi win was interesting.
NASCAR today - Pocono - looks like some rain maybe? And fog?
Probe and John (Hudson) - sweet on the Stangs - and Buckeye too?
SJ - we could use some of that cool air - it was still 91 last night at 10 pm here...
May try to catch a movie this afternoon...Pirates maybe?
Have a great day all!
Regards, Roy
Overcast, drizzle on and off and 62 in beautiful Bayville, NJ.
Scored 2 k line boxcars on ebay, a CNJ and Lehigh Valley for opening bids.
Fife, maybe the gentleman will think twice and realize that the wake up call may save his life.
AF53, Ray, I recall an incident about 35 years ago when someone's wife's grandfather did the same when the trains ran through here with his truck. He survived but the truck did not.
SJ, you are a realist. I will try to be on the Tardis tonight. I have been falling asleep early.
Jim, Lots of luck with the Stang. Great Looking Wheels.
Thoughts and Prayers for all in need.
Have a great day,
Good Morning
55, a cooler day only going to 70
Grannys at church so I'm the boss till noon. Have to be good after that..lol A nice chat with some of the guys last night, no world problems solved, just good old nonsense...S.J.
Morning all been up doing this and that mainly didn't feel like striping the turkey last night and actually like it to refrig over night so when i take the big pieces off the *** chest its more firmer so easier to take electric knife to and make nice slices for sandwiches when its chilled. cut up all the dark meat into little chunks for the cats so that will be there dinner for next few days. I actually make 3 plates 1 for slices for sandwiches ( which I like) one for chunks to make as a meal on a plate with mash potatoes and gravy ( which wife likes to do) and third one is cut up for the cats lol.
Not much else going on here this morning guess its about time to make some breakfast so guess I need to get back up and take my pills ( which I probably should of already done )
Hope all have a good day today and relax and getting ready to go back to work so we can pay the chief his social security come next month.
talk to you later
Buckeye --
Outstanding video, laughed out loud when the assistant engineer took a tumble :). The MUSIC was outstanding, thank you, makes me anxious for marching band season.
We've been here at the lake since Friday AM, it's been a good time for both of us to finally relax, thank goodness.
Jon
So many roads, so little time.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a sunny 72 degrees. Going up to 84 today with sunshine.
Today is an easy day. I plan on spending some time in the train room. Nascar race today.
Indians need to win a game.
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Sunday.
Chuck
Evening,
Great looking car!!! Must be nice!!
Had a nice relaxing day. did not have to work today, hooray!!
Had a friend over last night, played trains for a couple of hours. He had purchased a Genset, and a Lionel Trackmobile, ended up receiving 2 of them. Contacted the company and was told it was a gift for his continued business! He ended up giving it too me! I was really surprised!!! (I hope it wasn't a misplaced birthday gift for someone.) The unit is pretty strong suppose to be able to pull 3 or 4 cars up a 5% grade. Thats pretty good! It also hass TMCC, lights, and operating couplers. Runs quiet no sounds but sure runs good. I couldn't get over how well it did at extrmely slow speeds, and with such a short wheel base had no problem with switches. Quite Impressive!
Ran some 4-4-0's, American Standard type engines. Some of them really have a lot of interesting dialogs in the PFA function. Just about everytime I run some of these engines I find something else that is very impressive.
Going to work the Rose Bowl in Pasadena tomorrow. Even taking some PW stuff, may sell some, I hope, and a 1850 watt generator. Suppose to be over 5,000 people thru the show.
Take care, Prayers for those in Need,
Don

Evening all!
It's definitely a better day when the Yanks win. Real cloudy and even had some drizzle for parts of the day. Tomorrow my two daughters and I will be in da Bronx and we are hopping it doesn't rain (70% chance).
