What would it be like if the Chief and I were at York the same time?
ARMAGEDON!!!
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is 32 degrees and sunny. Going up to 55 today with sunshine.
Today is a busy day. I have a project to work on and the usual chores. I'll be done by lunch time. then,, I can relax outside for awhile. Then, naptime.
Dining car is here with the usual breakfast.
Y'all have a great Wednesday.
Chuck
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 36 here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Circus Court this AM, then 3rd trick tonight.
Buckeye - If you and the Chief were to appear at YORK together, at least it would dispell all those nasty rumors about yuz guyz being the same person.
tmcc - Say it ain't HOooooooo...
Good Morning
30 and sunny, thats about it for today.
I'm ready for York, Don't have a want list but need to bust out of here for awhile. Oatmeal and 1 toast this morning...S.J.

Aloha all. Sunny and pretty darn cold - that's a change. Puzzling through a Windows 7 migration plan at work. That'll keep me busy for a while. Nice class last night. Good news about Char's mobility, Brutus. Did I just feel the earth shake? Buckeye and Chief at York together?

Well have sold a few things on bay of E so will take rest to Auction house next wednesday to get rid of it all and then in 2 weeks it will go under the chopping block along with a bunch of stuff I just couldn't list it all or felt like shipping it all as I would have to do about a 1000 listings if I tried to list all the junk she has in crates. all the pitcures ect,ect lol it would be a full time job. LOL
Well will talk to you all later hope your having a good day
Life's hard, even harder if your stupid John Wayne

Good morning all,
It's partly sunny and going to warm up to 68 today. It's the usual agenda for work today, and tonight we have Bible study. It will be late before I can check back in tonight.
Have a great day,
Joe
Morning guys,
fife, space is limited so HO is about all I can do right now...I only have 054 and 072 curves for my O gauge layout and the way the benchwork is planned, I won't be able to use them. Also, the new Lionel/MTH/Atlas products would quickly get me into debt! HO is a little easier to handle! Once I get my house, I'm going to have 3 layouts; O gauge, HO scale and G scale in the yard.
Good Day All!
Waiting for some more rain today. Other than that kinda quiet day. New plumbing problem, kitchen faucet does not want to shut off. Only replacement parts are from manufacturer. And that takes a week for delivery. Can force it off, but its tricky.
Had an engine short out, and seems to have wiped out the boards! Going to try a manual reset, hopefully that will work.
All set for York! Even have tickets for the MTH and Tony Lash tour. IF Buckeye and Chief WERE at York the Forum would shut down, and no telling what would happen in PA. There would probably be a lot of excitment at Gettysburg also.
Hope everyone has a good day!
Don
Lunch Time,
SP Man, Ray, Good luck with your leg / knee problem.
RT, Get well soon.
Brutus, More great new about Char.
8n, Wish your wife the best from me on her knee recovery.
Mitch, Try not to let work get to you. I know about pressure and I try to leave it at the door. I have a sign in my office that reads, Life is too short to give your employer all of your time. Nobody on their death bed says, "Gee, I wish that I'd put in just a few more hours of overtime". That also refers to taking work home and letting it get to you.
Colin, The O gauge layout will come.
Don, Don't force the faucet, use a bigger hammer. I would shut it off from the shutoff under the sink to avoid any damage from forcing it.
Thoughts and Prayers for all in need.
Back to work,
John
Mornin' All.
Last I heard the rain is going to the north of us, definitely ain't breaking my heart. On the weather last nite they were showing some satelite photos of the SoCal snow coverage, haven't seen that much in a long time.
Hhmmm, Chief at York ? Does anybody remember the "Great Grits Caper" .
Begining to feel a bit better but the better half is really still fighting it.
Really some good news about some of our significant others. Nice to hear some happy news since it has been a fairly rough stretch.
Time to go refill the mug !
Later all.

Good morning all, started on the medicine for my leg pain after fortifying myself with a good breakfast and doubling up on Prilosec per doctor to prevent acid issues with stomach. So far, so good.
Don, sorry to hear you have possible board problems. Going through that myself. Let us know how you make out with the resets. I got my problem engine to run yesterday for about 30-40 minutes but all the lights are out now and resets don't work for that. Incidentally, I ordered the new WBB Norfolk Southern executive train diesels A-B-A. Not a Western thing but goes back to my heritage in the East. I have always liked that color scheme originally used by the Southern Railway. At least WBB does not have the circuit board problems to worry about.
Brutus, glad to hear that Char is making good progress.
RT, get over that crud soon! Best wishes.
Mitch, I envy your location in Gettysburg surrounded by all that history. Really enjoyed my visits to the town in the past. Seems like those crab cakes are a big item around Southern Pennsylvania. Not surprising with Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay being not that far away. My late aunt used to make homemade crab cakes when they lived on the outer banks in North Carolina. Had their own crab traps near by. Crab cakes had lots of meat when she made them. Nothing like the Eastern blue crabs for taste.
Colin, hope you get that O gauge layout sooner than later. I went through the HO world myself before I got into O gauge.
Possible showers forcast for today.
Went to an invitation for desert and coffee with nearby friends last night. The wife is a courageous lady fighting pain all the time and with limited mobility. She still tries to make some of the church group outings though. Kind of puts my own complaints in perspective.
Have a good day y'all,
Ray
SPMan
Afternoon all!
Sunny here and 70 today I think. No rain in sight and we need some. Typ N TX Spring.
Prayers for all those dealing with their daily struggles. Brutus - just keep the good news coming on Char!
Chief and Buckeye at York at the same time - Whoa Nellie! Howver - Don B will be able to keep them in check! I will be there - I also do not have a list and will be looking for spur of the moment "opportunity buys". Hope the weather cooperates. It has been a few years since we had a really nice Spring York.
The forum has been a great thing. Like sitting in a coffee shop every day chatting about "whatever" with good friends. Life, death, kids, family, homes, hobbies, struggles, revelations, joys, etc., it is all here. Thanks again to the Chief, Buckeye, and Big Boy (Elliot - where ever you are buddy) and all the rest of "yuz giz".
Jack - yes - feeling better!
Have a great day all.
Regards, Roy

Roy, your memory of history is very good. Laz and Tom P. was there too. Of course I was the only one that received a collect phone call from the Chief wanting to know who the heck I was, where was Rogers Corners and how dare I say anything bad about Roseyville. The day we changed all of our avatars to the Chief's photo will never be forgetten.

Good Afternoon From Overcast and 40ish Taxachusetts,
We are on a temperature roller coaster ride for the rest of the week. So I imagine that means a very slow snow melt.
Roy......It was good to hear that you are feeling better. RT.......sorry to hear you are going the other way. RaySP.......easy does it with your knee, may want to wear some support while the ligament heals up. 8N......any more sarcasm from you and your wife will start administering some wacks with the walker. Dennis and Chief.......the two of you need to be totally separated from society and all communication devices for a couple of weeks, or you two will join the ranks of the crud sufferers. And Brutus, the good news just keeps on coming on Char. HudsonJohn.....you are under the mistaken impression that NJ drivers are worse than MA drivers-----no way, the MA drivers sheer off telephone poles faster than they can be replaced and we have to import them. DonB.....it sounds like the presence of your honor would be required in York if Chief and Buckeye were there simultaneously because Jon would just add fuel to the fire. JimmyT.....any stalker protective orders issued on you yet?
Later, gang.
Jack
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Jack -- believe it or not, Sharyl and I have actually met face to face with Chief! It was maybe 4-5 years ago in MPLS when he was "working" one of those fake shows he always talks about. Our youngest son lives up there so we made a special detour to meet Frank on our way home, it was fun and the beginning of a good friendship. Believe it or not #2, we actually have had some terrific phone conversations, especially the last 6 months.
Now my good friend Buckeye and Mrs. Buckeye graced us with their presence overnight last June and we had a wonderful time. Plus, he doesn't talk like he has ball bearings in his mouth I can actually understand what he says the first time.
If I were at York with Chief and Buckeye I would be the calming influence and most likely stop any fisticuffs between the two of them It really would be fun for all of us to meet there, I just wish it were closer -- from our driveway to the fairgrounds it's exactly 1,000 miles. The one other thing that we still talk about was how much we enjoyed the Gettysburg area -- tremendous history that we just thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to go back within the next two years.
Jon
So many roads, so little time.
evening all feeling a little better doc told me to get some benadry to use because of my meds.
Watching WPT on the boob tube

I saw this, and I am really motivated to find a job asap.

I mentioned last week that I was trying to sell a set of Lionel 2500 series aluminum cars. Notice I said "trying". I ended up cancelling the auction because I just couldn't let them go. That is the third time this has happened. I spent some time polishing the 2533 SIlver Cloud pullman, and I forgot just how time consuming these cars are to polish.
I just contacted someone on the local CL about a 92 Probe, and I hope they get back to me. Hopefully, here goes my tax refund.
Evening everyone,
Hudson#685 & SPMan, my O gauge layout was in planning stages for a while, until my dad got a new job which allowed him to work from home. He has his office in the basement now, so I don't have room for the 072 curves. I've seen these ES44AC's, ACe's, M-2's and so forth and I am very impressed with them. I think that when it comes time to do that layout, I'm gonna have a hard time deciding which era to model. There are so many selections now. My HO layout is going to be strictly PRR/Reading/LV but I will have some modern stuff as well such as Conrail/NS/CSX/BNSF and maybe CP to run when I feel like it!

Good Evening
Skies are clear, going to be cold tonight
I had a Doctor appointment today, the office was near the freeway so I let the Ranger pound it's pistons for awhile since it hasn't been driven much this winter. Stopped at Burger King on the way home and the Whopper Jr has gone from .99 to 1.29 and now 1.49. Good thing DC says COLA has not risen or we'd be broke. Regular gas is $3.35 and rising. Oh well banilla is ready for Brutus and the Tardis...S.J.
Hey guys...
Didn't go to the Edison Expo...crowded beyond belief. Parking was at a premium, so I went home. April 2-3 is the next show & Sale sooo, I'll be going.
Work is crazy, was there until 730 last night. Upside is I left 10 minutes early today.
Won 2 auctions for Atlas track on GoMotorBids $15 for 2 - 1.75 track packs (with shipping).
Colin, my stuff is in storage and I'm looking forward to my first abode. I have an HO set but I'm holding out for the O gauge layout I'll build when I get my home....looking like late spring early summertime. I'm getting antsy about it now.
I'm not going to April York this year... ... I promised myself for my 56th birthday I'd resurrect my beloved roadrunner convertible. 4/15-17 is the Englishtown swap meet and I may need some last minute parts. And I really want it done for Easter Sunday...this weekend I'll be under it starting the process. October I WILL be there..for sure.
RT hope you're feeling better....good news on Char!!!
for Mrs. 8N and anyone I've missed.
Windy here now up to 40 tomorrow....getting spring fever when thoughts turn to fast cars and motorcycles....I've missed this time of year...
neon up to 32 MPG and 334,025 miles time for an oil change!
OK, Check ya later!
I am the monster in your head...And I thought you'd learn by now, It seems you haven't yet.I am the venom in your skin --- Breaking Benjamin
Good evening guys. Was a good day. Met family at the house after they returned from violin lessons. after dinner, son and I are watching "Skunk Works" on The Military Channel....very interesting.
RT, take that benadryl and get better soon!
Brutus, glad for the good news on Char. Please pass along our best wishes for continued progress and a return to "normal".
As to the Chief and Buckeye being in one location at the same time....that may have serious consequences, something like matter/anti-matter. Perhaps causing a disruption in the space-time continuum.
On a more humble note, we had a local person get hit by a train near here. He is in serious condition, but no other details have been released.
Take care everyone, and God Bless
Dennis

Good evening all,
I had Bible study tonight and I am just now getting a moment to post. The wife was not well so I was handling all three kids for the night. I just now got the baby back to sleep. I am pretty tired and will head off to bed very soon.
I did not have any train time tonight. I won an auction Monday night and the item should be here soon. It is a police station made by Ameri-towne. I am trying to focus on only buying buildings for the layout at this time, but that can be hard to with some of the cool items available.
I'll pray for all those in need before falling asleep.
Good night,
Man - got home and had to do a school project (surprise) with my son and wife - geeeez man, I thought I was already done with school! Oh well, finally done about 9:30 and did get to talk to SJ before bed, so that's good. No trains today. About time for bed and I"m not sure where the day went!
Tardis is ready but someone else can drive, I'll be relaxing the saloon room.
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Another sunny day in the 50's here.
I think I'm pretty safe harassing my wife - until she graduates from her walker to a cane. The cane increases her reach and is easier to weild. I did mention to her today that she is taking after Datrh Vader - hardware installed in her back last summer, hardware in her knee last week.
The warmer weather and dry roads are encouraging me to 'blow the gunk out' of my Cobalt SS more frequently. The supercharger makes such a happy noise when leaned on.
All for now.
IIABSDISEI with temps near 50. Welcome back, TMCC Man! Do you still play any soccer? I scrimmaged with "my" soccer girls last night. Slowly getting back into shape. Work was busy. Almost got caught up on case reports. Will do that today. I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East". TBIL and I can drive, but keep the non-alcoholic drinks coming. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
17 here to get to 37. No trains last nite,
BUCKEYE and CHUCK, one more day till FRIDAY!!!!
It is a cold 26 degrees. Sunny. Going up to 48 today with more sunshine.
Today is a busy day. I have a few errands to run. The usual chores to do. Then i can relax. Not much new here.
Dining car has arrived from "Points West". It will be Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Thursday.
Went into work today and they sent me home so it was a short day. waisted time should of called in but didn't really want to miss 3 days in a row.
Not much else going on did stop and pick-up some more meds. tired will talk to you all later
