HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUCKEYE!!!
AGAIN?
Seems like he just had one a bit ago?
Anyway enjoy your B DAY.
Joe - I'm with you on the NCAA. I'll take the first 4 days over anything in sports for excitement. I run a small pool (Chief and Fifedog skip to the next line) every year for my co-workers and family for fun and we all watch the games, even those who would never watch a baskeball game the rest of the year. Love the buzzer shots and these are just kids!
SJ - Welcome back home, hope your feeling better soon!
Fifedog - Nice start, now I'll start checking myself starting this weekend. Keep up the good work.
Brent - , enjoy the rest of the day.
Enjoy the evening all!

Well, I'm feeling better.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
God bless my Great Great Grandparents Edward and Mary O'Hare, who in 1849 left Ireland for the U.S.A. When they arrived they were asked if they would like to live in a beautiful land where riches abounded. They chose OHIO, Cincinnati to be exact and the rest is history.
Happy Birthday BRENT and boy I'm glad I didn't pick the Lions to win today. PSU is just not a b-ball school.
SJ.....Glad you are doing better. Just remember only 8-12 more weeks months of winter in Michigan.

Just a slight adjustment here - in 1849 the folks in the east were just trying to get Buckeye's relatives as far away as possible
Sir James - so glad you are home. Look at it this way - they are assuming if you survived the hospital stay you must be alright!
Hit 81 here - toasty!
Regards, Roy
Welcome home, SJ. Take good care of yourself.

NAVYJACK,
Rest in peace my friend. You will be greatly missed. I will sound the whistle long and loud.
John
May God bless you NavyJack. I will keep you in my prayers
Jim
Too bad about NavyJack - I liked him and he seemed like a nice guy. We talked on FB a few times. Thanks for following up for us, RT.
SJ - so glad to see you online again and doing well. Hope that headache passes quickly and you are back to 100 percent soon, driving your wife and all those young ladies crazy! Great pic with the nurses! Which one was in charge of oiling your Prime Mover?
82 degrees in St. Louis today! What a change in a few days - snow/sleet storm all day Monday and now this!
Prayers for all those fighting to salvage/shut down the nuclear plants in Japan. Many have already exceed the safe dosages and are sacrificing their health and perhaps lives to save their fellow men.
TARDIS is ready and banilla is ready per SJ, so let's go. I'll let him drive tonight, so take your dramamine, too!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Good evening all,
I was not expecting to see that post about Navyjack - I was wondering why he had not posted in a while. RT, thanks for letting us know. He served our country so I hope he is honored accordingly.
AF Ray - It was a great start to the tournament as far as excitement goes, but my bracket is not looking so good.
Buckeye - PSU did alright for not being a b-ball school. They blew a big lead in the first half, but were able to play with a team which has more talent and depth. One of PSU's key players also left the game early with an injury.
Good night,
Joe
Sunny and low 70's today.
Prayers and condolances for Navy Jack's family.
SJ - glad to hear you are home.
LHS says that my Texan freight set should arrive sometime next week. Looking forward to it. Thinking about ordering the AEC reactor. The price seems to have dropped some.
All for now.
So sorry to hear about Navyjack. Prayers go out to his family.
Well my NCAA bracket looks like it was hit with a shotgun blast. I might as well have thrown darts. Oh well, it is still one of the most exciting sports events in my year.
Heading to my sister's house on Sunday for a family birthday celebration. We have three birthdays in March. WE are going to cook up some fried oysters and I am going to get a couple dozen in the shell and have some raw and steamed too.
Work has been crazy. It's that time of the year. March is without a doubt the zaniest time of the school year. I'll be glad when next week is done. I have one all day meeting out of the building, four school-related events on three nights and two early morning events on Thursday and Friday.
Take care,
Mitch

Good Morning,
The news of NavyJack's passing really set me back. I am going to miss our weekly calls. RIP, Jack
Hopefully today will be a quiet day at work.
Nothing new on the train front. Tonight, I am planning on running mine for a couple of hours.
Time to get ready for the Safety Huddle.
Hi GUYZ,
50 here to get to 70!!!!
Sorry to hear about NAVYJACK. GOT TO TOOT THE WHISTLES TONITE BOYZ. RUN YOUR TRAINS FOR NAVYJACK and give him a final BLAST. RIP.
Stay frosty,
Almost forgot,
TGIF BUCKEYE and CHUCK!
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a dark and mild 40 degrees. Going up to 50 today with a slight chance of rain later. Yesterday was a beautiful day. Outside in shirtsleeves.
Today is an easy day. Wife is headed north for the weekend, to see daughter and granddaughter. I will be enjoying the peace and quiet. A little cooking too. I'll be glad when the regular baseball season opens on April 1st.
Navyjack..May you rest in Peace. Prayers out for your family. You will be missed.
Buckeye & LAZ...... TGIF
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Friday.
Good morning all,
It is cloudy in SE Indiana. It is indeed a sad day in the land of CTT. Both the passing of John Grams and NavyJack are causing many heartfelt comments. John had much knowledge about toy trains and shared his wealth with all of us, and NavyJack was always full of comments for everybody to enjoy. I did take advantage of last night's wonderful weather to wash the wife's car. Did some other stuff as well and then played "Farkle" ( a dice game) with the family. Scored a re-issue of the Alaska 6464-825 boxcar on eBay. I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East". TBIL and I survived SJ's loop-de-loops last night. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Morning all. Sunny and real warm. Got a few things to do here before going to the lake house. Should have gone last night and fished today. Will have to go up the road to the Corps landing as ours was flooded last week. I'm sure they have not dropped the lake level. The Corps can screw up a one car funeral.
Speaking of funerals, still can not believe Navy Jack has passed. Sad day for the Pot.
Hope all have a great weekend [except OSU ].
Later
fifedog Erin go bra boys! Hope you're feeling better, sirjames... Well, I'm feeling better.
Fife.......thanks for sharing these photos of SirJames' health care workers. It must have been difficult for him to equitably spread himself around during his stay.
Jack.
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Aloha. RIP NavyJack. . Ran trains last night in his honor. Looks like another pretty day here. Hope to drop by the Japanese consulate later today to sign their condolence book. Happy to see SJ is home! TGIF

Good morning
sun and 50s today
I'm running in slow motion, but got a good nights sleep. All my nurses were yea yea,EXCEPT the ER nurse was our pastor's wife so I had to be good. This is the best I can do for now, TGIF for the working guys....S.J.
Good morning all!
So sad. Prayers for NavyJack's family and may he rest in peace.
SJ - welcome back and continue the recovery!
Will be warm here today - 80's. Windy and sunny right now.
Heard a disturbing story on radio news this morning. There are 30 children in an elementary school in the tsunami afflicted area of Japan that have been there 24/7 since the event. No one has come to pick them up and they suspect their parents were lost. To make it worse - the parents that did pick up their children just prior to the tsnumai - it is feared that many of those entire familes are lost. Just tragic.
Lunch Time,
Beautiful Day, Sunny and in the 60's.
SJ, Glad that you are back. Which nurse in the picture is the pastor's wife?
Roy, There are many horror stories about the situation in Japan. I fear that it is only going to get worse with the damaged nuke plants. This is far from over.
RIP NavyJack.
Thoughts and prayers for all in need.
Good morning all, I am still in a daze after hearing about Navy Jack. Seems like he was doing Ok and then this. Have to admit, I must have missed something. He was a plucky fellow and never let his illness get him down. He kept up his interest in trains even though he could not even run them He was a good example of perserverance to all of us. Deepest sympathy to his family. I will blow the whistle for you Jack. R.I.P.
