The dealer is Ma and Pa Junction out of MD. Good people, here is the site and you're in luck they are on sale at 225 bucks for the pair of A's. Enjoy!

rtraincollector RT, I think WBB has forgotten what made them competitive in the first place. They still make a good simple product but they can't go head to head with the big guys without a lot more bells and whistles I would think. Laz, wow! that was a good price on those Southern F3 units. Was that the executive set or the regular Southern? Sounds like there is a lot of margin on these if a dealer can sell for $250. Ray SPMan: Good afternoon all, had a pretty healthy rain storm last night. We got around 2 inches at least. Had to pump some out of the pool this morning. Snow level coming down to 1000 ft they say tonight. Maybe I will see some in the foothills above us if it does. Been fighting a losing battle with my bad order ACL MTH E6 A-B-A engines. Tried everything you can think of. I have about 800 bucks into this thing and it is about 7 years old. Not really crazy about putting another 200-300 in it and still have no guarantee it won't crap out again. Mean time I have put my Williams E7 ACL AA units back in service. They run just great with a tru blast horn and headlight. That;s all I need. Still run my ACL MTH F3 A-B-A as an alternate too. Was looking at the prices of the new WBB catalog. I like the Norfolk Southern Executive engines but my Lord! They want around $500 including a B unit. That's just for a basic engine with horn and bell. MTH had one for around the same money with all the bells and whistles. What gives? I saw a FEC E6 with the same problem as mine sell on the bay for around $250. That's a give away price but that's probably all you could get for an engine that needs repair. Got to get my left leg checked out next week. Had a hard time walking today at train meet. Train meet was TCA Western Div. in Arcadia. Light attendance on account of the weather I suppose. Did not win any door prizes---again. Someone showed off a new Lionel modern diesel engine lettered for the Boy Scouts of America 100th anniversary. The Union Pacific has the real one. Same stuff on tables I have seen for the last umpteen meets. Those trains have spent more time traveling to and from meets than they have on the track. Spent most of my time at the meet talking with a few old friends. later, Ray Ray I was saying that would happen back when K-line was bought by Bachmann. it has been jumping in price every catalog since it started. Just befor it was bought you could buy the the girls steam frieght set for like $299- $350 its now over $600 in fact I got my Tidewater Express ( Virginian set )for like $200.00 they now list it at $429.95 and that was just befor they took over got it from a hobby shop which was about the same price if I got it thru the club K-line had when you got like 20% off Brutus and I were talking about it last night on chat you can buy lionel classic for about the same price as what the williams are now .

Morning or afternoon all depending on which coast one resides!
Spent yesterday in the chair in front of TV. Picked up a bug from the trip I guess. Better today although not top notch. So I will spend today in the chair again! Life is tough.
Watched the NASCAR Nationwide race (boring). Hope today's race is much better. My wife is really starting to enoy NASCAR races - she says they are the best naps ever!
Temps to hit 70 today and then possible T-Storms this afternoon and temps fall a little - then back up Monday.
Hope everyone has a great day today!
Regards, Roy

Morning to All,
LAZ - Sounds like Allentown was a good show and you got some real bargains. I thought about going but a little too far from G'burg.
Very lazy day yesterday. Did nothing of importance, in fact I never left the house other than to get the newspaper from the box. Napped a little, listened to the Grand Ole Opry last night via their iPhone app which is pretty neat. Our cable TV package doesn't carry the Opry Live any more.
Had some homemade waffles and Canadian bacon for breakfast, which is something a little different for us. Going to settle in and watch the NASCAR race from Phoenix in a little while. Have to fix myself some lunch before the race starts, not sure what I'll have. Maybe some soup for dinner.
Take care,
Mitch

Got to pick up 2 Lionel HB HUNT trailers on flat cars with the blinking ETD on last car for 60 bucks and found a C&O trailer on flat car w/o box for 20 bucks. Tried to purchase a Tippi foam cutter but guy sold out, he will mail me one on Tuesday. I got that for 60 bucks delivered. We went to our favorite place to eat afterwards then rode home the next 1.5 hrs. Got home and ran trains for the boyz for 1.5 hrs NO PILE UPs GREAT DAY.
Stay frosty,
Aloha. The sun's coming out! Nice chat with RT, Brutus, Charlie and RT last night. Off to church with the youngest, then a rest before watching the pastor's kiddos tonight. I'll bring my CTT.

What is all that blathering racket from Roseyville this morning? Here in Buckeyeland where the birds are singing we don't want to hear all that noise from his HONOR.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is 38 degrees. Cloudy. Going up to 44 today with cloudy skies. We need some sunshine.
Today is an easy day. Nascar race to watch and trains to run. I plan on relaxing.
Dining car is here with the usual breakfast.
Y'all have a great Sunday.

WAKE UP YANKEES!!!!!!! Southern Gentlemen, roll over and take an extra snooze.
Real warm this AM. Going into the 80's. That means no one in the store. Packing up and then going to breakfast. Later
Just took it easy today - got up, played on the xbox, had lunch and a nap, then did the shopping for the week at Walmart. Watching A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court with Bing Crosby - still a great movie
Nice chats tonight with RT, Charlie, SJ and Doug!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Good night all. Long day. Sold chargers but attendance was way off.
Frankie called and his wife finally moved out. He sounded relieved. Been there and done that. When the kids and I moved out on his Mom, folks at work on Monday said I looked different and more relaxed. I was. Sad but true.
Off to bed.

MikeC- I couldn't agree more. That last FAFSA was an event that I really enjoyed.
Been super busy with work. Lots of catching up on evening activities that have been re-scheduled due to the winter weather. I did get to runs some trains during my last snow day on Tuesday, which I hope will be the last.
Keystone Division of TCA is having their Spring meet in a few weeks over near Lancaster, PA. Wife has girlfriends coming for dinner that day, so I have a good excuse to get out of the house. Has anyone on the forum ever gone to the Keystone Division meet?
Aloha all. A grey and snowy day here. Met some friends early this am, then took the youngest to his 'fun fair' at school. Nothing like hundreds of little ones playing games and running around. I survived. He had fun. Then took him and the bride to the local high school production of the Wizard of Oz. What a great show! Live pit band, the Cowardly Lion was played by 6'5" 285 all-state lineman, 'Dorothy' had a great voice and they had all sorts of special effects. The youngest was mesmerized. The house was packed. Bride doesn't feel well, so I'll hold the fort. Prayers for those of our group that need them.
Good afternoon all,
It is cloudy in SE Indiana with temps in the 30s. Wife saw a hawk in the yard yesterday. I went out and watched it chew on a starling it had caught. Interesting that it was on the ground while doing so. Figured it would eat up in the trees. Worked on personal finances today and Lucas' FAFSA. Last time I have to do that. Important tip for any of those who will be doing that in the future. They have a way to pull in your IRS records automatically if you file in time. Something to consider. Glad I do not have to do that anymore. Estate division will go well as it is just me and my sister and I am bigger than her :-) Seriously, there is very little there that both of us would want, and all the major stuff has been divided. Grandkids will get to divvy up what is left. I will just have people make lists and if there are any conflicts, my sister and I will resolve them. I had cereal and a donut for breakfast. TBIL and I can drive again. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Well I trimmed back 5 of the hedges and dug out 2 of them so now have 3 more to dig out at least I still have about 5 more haven't even trimmed yet.
There not that bad to get out using a shovel to dig down about 6 inches and cut the roots with pruners and there out . hope to be able to remove about 6" of dirt there put down the weed cloth ( can't think correct name ) and then fill with gravel Would rather do about 2" gravel 4" cement but wife may have a problem plus the half that has gas line under it if they ever had to get to it could make it bad. So my vacation coming up I guess I will get the rest out along with my doctor visits I have and running around wife wants to do. My 6 days off are going to be filled. along with the pile of stuff I'm taking up tot he auction house ( amen getting rid of a lot of junk finally)
Roy glad you were able to get that flight and its fun to be walked on ain't it makes you feel kinda important don't it
ran trains for a while this after noon no crashes or jumping of rails so thats good.
Ran the PA-1 and the GP-9 both NYC.
Hope all had a good day
traindood Hey fifedog: Read your post on Yankee candles; we always used to use them until they started burning my eyes. Wifey found out somewhere the wicks have lead in them because they were made in you know where. I don't know how true this is or if they changed the wicks but now we use Slatkin & Co. candles. Easy to find in Bath & Body Works or QVC. Almost the same $ as Yankee candle and they don't burn my eyes. That's my anyway, Have a great weekend. later.

You need Southern candles. Smell good, easy on the eyes, and causes you to speak with a southern accent. They are Chief approved!
I have been the executor on two estates (parents). Amazed me how congenial siblings can quickly become mean and unreasonable.

Afternoon all!
Back from sunny Billings MT where the temp yesterday was -11. Oooof! The snow was so dry it was like sand. The snow was so steady when we landed Wed that you only knew the runway was there because we bumped into it. The winter in Billings has been endless this year and even the natives are sick of it! Decades old record low (high) temps were being broken according to the local newspaper.
Flights were late leaving Billings yesterday and so I spent over10 hours getting home via Denver - but only 3 1/4 hours of the trip was in the air. I missed my connection in Denver and they could only book me onto a really late flight which would have made the day a 14+ hour trip home. So hit the standby lists as all earlier flights were full. A nice AA agent assisted me in getting the last seat on the first flight out due to a last minute no-show (and after all the other standbys who logged in before me). Walked me onto the plane without a boarding pass as no time to print one. That was a first for me and I have traveled a lot over the years.
anjdevil - good to hear the finances are coming around - certainly makes life a bit easier!
Brutus - good to hear about Char and glad the wake went well! Prayers for your Mom. Sorry this has been so tough for her.
Sunny here and supposed to be 70! Nice weekend with some chance of showers tomorrow.
Have work to do around the house today. Replacing a ceiling fan in son's room and hanging a new TV in fornt of the treadmill - maybe I will use it more????
Will relax a bit with the Nationwide NASCAR race later.
Have a great afternoon all!
MikeC and Chief.......being the executor and power of attorney for an estate puts the whole ball of wax in your lap, including being the bulls eye target for the family and others who have their "advice and opinions". This is one of those "no good deed shall go unpunished" scenarios.
Have to disagree on the use of (avoidance of) outside, expert advice. It can save a lot of money.....taxes and otherwise. To me, the expertise is worth it if used properly; and you don't have to take that advice, or conversely you can fall back on that advice when "someone" doesn't like the way things are going.......for them. Too often these estate dealings wind up in some ugly adversarial situations. I would not want to be in that position again. Once was too much.
Char is driving!!!!!! Yahoo Jim/Brutus!!!! Glad to hear that the services went off without a hitch. Your Mom needs you now. Prayers, brother.
Later, gang.
