A little bird told me that Friday is a big day for someone on the coffee pot!  Apparently, Chief will be having a birthday!  Hope he's back to share it with us, but if he's at the lake, then I hope he gets his fill of grits and cake Thumbs Up

Well if they put the appropriate number of birthday candles on the cake they'll have to order a "quarter acre instead of the normal quarter sheet". Smile,Wink, & Grin

As we know, he would have no problem blowing out all of those candles one way or another because: (A)  he has chronic and uncontrolled flatulence from eating grits, and (B) he suffers from an occupational hazzard syndrome and is full of hot air. Big Smile

Jack

Just an FYI,guys:  I have alerted the North Carolina State Forestry Dept and the Community Affairs Div., for an uncontrolled burn.  I believe the Rosyville FD is on stand-by and Raleigh as next due in.  I suggested that they call RDU for the foam trucks, as it may get out of control....Smile,Wink, & Grin

anj - that was good thinking.

Good morning all,

I have no idea what the weather will be in SE Indiana.  Indy cars are at Texas this Saturday night with at least two drivers who were not in the 500 (Milka and Sarah's teammate).  Good day at work.  Got more done than I expected.  Worked on preparations for Sunday's secret Southern sojourn (including anti-grits vaccine).   I am part of a diversionary operation to distract those who would oppose the Indy cars from being in that neck of the woods lol.  I had bran muffins on the dining car before sending it on to "Points East".  TBIL anytime tonight.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Well Gosh fellas, something does seem amiss here today.  Could it be that there is a disturbance in the force?  Just got a call that this morning's case was delayed a bit, so I am heading in a little later.  Wife is trying out Cardiac Rehab today.  If she likes it, it will keep her busy while the kids are in school and give her hours that will cooperate with the kid's schedules.

Will have to check in later.  Hope that everyone is having a blessed day.

Good Mornin' Ya'll From Hazy Taxachusetts,

Drove up to NH last night for dog training with Maximus without the wife who is still out in CA researching this pole dancer the CA boys have been mentoring.   Within 3 miles of departure, I ran into a microburst which the weather guys said was going to stay offshore......they must think offshore means off the banks of the Danvers and Merrimac rivers.  Traffic stopped dead.  Multiple car accidents.  MA drivers can't drive when the weather is good, so this was no big surprise.  Interstate 95 completely shut down to haul away one of the wreckages.  Took  about 2 hours for a 45 minutes drive.  Return trip was about the same except the weather was beautiful.  The MA highway department decided to close down 3 of 4 lanes on Interstate 93 Southbound for road repairs, traffic backed up for miles and exits in the work zone closed---no escape.  Average speed up and back, about 22 mph, giving new meaning to the term superhighway.  Should be superslowhighway.  Can you spell f-r-u-s-t-r-a-t-i-o-n?

As a result, I am still not feeling myself this morning....everything appearing in black and white, I have an urge to go to WallyWorld in this first week of June, and after last night's traffic frustrations I feel ready for the hospital's psyco Ward.  Even this morning's oatmeal tasted Lumpy.  So to be safe, I put all the knives and the Cleaver in the trunk of my car.

Later, gang.

Mike, guilt got the best of me. I just have to tell you I bribed an Indiana official to see that you were given a pro-grits vaccine in place of the anti-grits vaccine. But then, you will feel right at home when you arrive here in the south!EvilBig SmileWhistling

Pat, I had purchased season Three, I will gladly send you my copy, It was disappointing!  Mrs. Cleaver is running around town chasing Eddie.  (Definitely R rated stuff.)  Mr. Cleaver ends up in jail.  He got busted for stealing sweaters.  Wally has become a "snitch" working undercover at the high school, diguised as a cheerleader.  And the Beav, he is selling used cars to vagrants for use as housing.  Really a sad series!.
