Merry Christmas guys. I got the Super Motor swapped into the 332, and the difference is incredible. I tested it using a litle 4B transformer, and I am scared to try WOT.Big Smile If I used a ZW, the 332 would probably land in Ohio somewhere. The 342AC runs, but it is sluggish.

Since it is Christmas I shall endeavor to be of charitable heart and make no "political" comment following Don's reference to the 3 Stooges.

 GOOD MORNING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

It very windy here and raining off and on.  Went to Midnight Mass (WOW at midnight!), I was abed at 230 and the Mrs says she didn't get in until 400.

The Princess just got us up and the both kids are making breakfast.  Mrs is still snoozing, waiting to the "children" to wake her up.

Prayer for all, enjoy your day.  A small feast is planned for later, just the 4 of us.

Tomorrow the Princess leaves for Rome.  I have Tuesday to next Monday off.  I'll be in on Monday for end of month.

Merry Christmas!

Morning all.  Merry Christmas.  "A Child is born."  [don't forget]

Buckeye, you have been extra good so I am sending you a 5 lb. bag of GRITS. Laugh

Cold and rain on its way.  Western NC is under a ice storm warning.  That is not good as power lines and trees don't like a lot of ICE.  Well, no snohio here.  Hope Jon and crew are OK in their blizzard.

A great Christmas.

1. Chuck is home.

2. Doug M made it home.

3 Neighbors' kids are out playing with things they would not have gotten earlier yesterday.  That really made this one of the best ever.

God bless and smile.

Merry Christmas all!

Brutus:  Prayers for you and your family.

Doug:  Prayers for you and your family.

Snow here in Minnesnowta was not as much as predicted.  Today's plans include a ride to Red Wing MN; yup, the shoe place...We'll see what the weather has in store.  This should round out the whirlwind extravangza of Christmas travel, before the ride home.

Found out Bride's step-brother is getting into HO trains, and motorcycles, so we spent some time together last night.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.  The children were tucked all snug in their beds with visions of Lionel dancing in their heads :)

I had to work today, but I came home to find the Super Motor sitting on the kitchen table.Thumbs Up The commutator and brushes are slightly dirty, but it is in great shape otherwise. I have no idea why someone put this on a 300 Atlantic chasis.  The weight of the motor causes the chasis to tip back fully.  I'll do the swap tomorrow or on Christmas. I've got to work again from 8-4 tomorrow.Banged Head

Jim,I feel your pain.I'll be working tomorrow 1500-2300.I would have benn able to take it off but there is a ship coming in.At least its double time and a half.Merry Christmas to every one.

Merry Christmas!!!!!  One of the best I have known.

My neighbor who I have been helping get SS disability and working with US Senator, just went to his mail box and got a check.  Back to 2007.  Over $24,000.00.  Priase the Lord.  He had to tell his landlord earlier today he needed another week or so to pay the rent.  God works wonders.

Good afternoon all,

Just received my February issue.  Congrats to Kooljock1 on a very nice layout!  I believe another one of the regulars has something in this issue as well, but the name escapes me at the time.

Good morning all, happy Christmas eve!  I took my dear wife out to breakfast this morning on a beautiful Southern California day.  We are blessed to have this kind of weather when the rest of the country is not so good.  Had a big breakfast of bacon and eggs, home fries, bisquit and a waffle on the side.  Sorry Chief, no grits available at this place.  I think we have all the groceries we need now for tomorrow.   I can go play with the trains now and relax for the rest of the day.

Merry Christmas to each and every one you guys on the forum.  God bless us every one.

Just picked up my Lionel Classic F3 NYC freight set. The paint and lettering are beautiful. Too bad it wasn't made in the good ole USA though.

‘Afternoon Boys,

Not to make anyone jealous, the sun is out, a bit breezy and 74 right now.  REAL GREAT Christmas weather Banged Head...NOT!

The final preparations are taking place right now, I’ll need to get corn and turkey bags for the turkey (DUH!).  We’ll have to map out a plan for church tonight.  I’ll be getting home too late for the 5 o’clocker, so, might be 10 PM.  No midnight mass, not sure why.

Met up with one of the guys that purchased some of the LGB stuff, dropped off his items, have a couple of other things ready to go, just have to hit the ol’ USPS place and get them off.

Yeah, you can check me off on the ol’ TARDIS for an after Christmas Mass hot Toddy for SURE!!  It’s been a long day and yup, I’m still at work.

Hope to check in tomorrow, until then:

Angel for us all and our families, our Armed Forces here and abroad, the boys in blue and the fire-eaters state-side.  Glad that everyone is doing better,if not well, during the season.

Check Ya Later – There’s some guy with a red suit wandering our parking lot....

Good afternoon all,

It is cloudy again in SE Indiana with a few peaks of sunshine.  Spent last night with Lucas and his girlfriend.  They are on the road today to spend the day with her family.  Lucas hopefully will be back in time for 7:30 Mass.  Presents are wrapped for the "saucy wench".  Just house cleaning remains for me. Sister called and said they may not be down tomorrow as one child is under the weather.  We shall see.  I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast (with an added donut!) before sending it on to "Points East".  TBIL after Mass tonight.  We will have to keep the radar on high alert so we do not interfere with a reported 8 reindeer powered ATV tonight.  It will be "high balling" thru the skies, and will have the right of way at all junctions and sidings.  If I am not able to get on tomorrow, I want to wish all of you and your families a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Mornin' All.

Been up since the weee hours, insomnia sucks. Figured I might as well get out of bed and finish cleaning up the cookie making stuff.

Jim, "The Frugal Gourmet"! His and Emerill's cookbooks make up about a third of my cooking library. My sugar cookie recipe is from one of Mr Smith's books and like you I really like some of his bread recipes.

Got the brine made, now it is just setting to cool down and let the seasonings brew. Da bird takes his "soak" tonite.

Gotta try to get in gear, lots of little "projects" to finish up today. Whistling

Prayers for all of us and especially for travelers to have safe trips.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!  Tardis ride was fun last night :)  Got up this morning and made a nice breakfast for the kids Whistling with biscuits, thick sliced bacon and eggs.  I was going to make some pancakes, but I was the only one that wanted those.  Probably won't eat again until dinner at my folks' house.

Dad is acting up again, sending out mean spirited emails - guess Mom told him to behave for Christmas with the family, so he's gotta do the opposite.  Banged Head He used to be really bad years ago, but started going to the VA and mellowed out a lot.  He still has little spells where he goes back to the way he used to be.  I hope he chills out tonight though.  It's easy to block the emails, but in the past he has said hurtful things to my kids in person.  He was great on thanksgiving, so don't know what is setting him off this time.  Hopefully, he will take his medicine tonight.

Thanks to Sir J for listening to me last night.

In good news, my wife and her sister now have scheduled appointments on January 4th for blood work and exams, so things are firming up!

Today, the kids and I will make about 4 pounds of homemade meatballs and tomorrow we'll make a big roast with new potatoes.  Should be good eats for a few days here!  We also have pies to bake - pumpkin and apple, from Mrs. Smith.  I'm not much of a baker, although I can bake some good bread - old recipe I got from the Frugal Gourmet.

God bless us, every one!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
