Good evening folks! Another day done and I am beat, Pete. Got about 5 hours of sleep due to company last night, then worked today from 6 until noon. Stopped at Home Depot on the way home as per agreement with my wife to check out a grill they had on sale. I ended up buying the next one up in size for about $30 more - Brinkman 4 burner with side burner. Must have been a good sale, because I could not get anyone there to sell me one. Finally found a manager who told a guy to grab one off the shelf. By now I was pretty hot and just wanted to get it and go, plus I figured I would do a better job putting it together than they would. Well, took a couple hours total to get it all together and hooked up. My son helped a lot and it was fun to watch him use the old craftsman drill/driver to crawl around underneath and tighten the screws He did a good job, too. My wife and Mother-in-Law brought home some groceries, so we had burgers and dogs on the fire tonight. I hoisted a Sam Adams, too. It's tradition, you know I like having the burners arranged this way, because I could easily isolate one side of the grill for warming and one for grilling etc. Good deal for the Jimster. Not what I wanted for Father's Day actually, but it was a good idea to get it for the family.
Tardis is ready and some new beacons are on the scope along with the rest of the guys too Here we go!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Evening All,
Not much improvement with the computer, if I keep everyone else off system, and minimize images seems to work a little better.
Went to the "Big All Gauge Trainshow", drove 40 miles one way, avoided the $10 parking, paid $12 each to get in. About 4 aisles of vendors, MAYBE 5 or 6 O-scale, and they primarily had running stock, best was 20% off MSRP. Three quarters of room was with running layouts. Was NOT one O gauge layout in the building. (Almost none, one person had a O-27 Thomas train on a 4x8 sheet, no accessories. And would let kids run it for 5 min. each, for a $1 donation.) There was 1 HO, 2 Z, and all the rest were either N, or G scales. Spent 1 hr 15 minutes there, extremely disappointed! Talked with one person regarding a Helix, intention is for the train club.
Got home and the Bull Frog Snot is here, will try that tomorrow afternoon see what happens.
Since have tomorrow off work, and train meet going on in Arcadia tomorrow. Plan on going up to it and hopefully will See Ray (SPMan).
Think I will take the camera, and maybe post some pictures from there.
Take care !!
Don
HI GYZ,
Well cut grass, twice but didn't have to bag. So NO PATRICK don't need da baler, thank you. I sharpened blades all went well with cutting. Went and got my churchen in then ate at Golf course with wife and BRO.
Came home took dog for walk then watched my PENs get killed, while running trains for an hour and a half.
at least NO PILE UPs.

Good evening
Sun was out and then disappeared. Temp drop to low 60s. No rain yet.
As for a totoo I only have a pink one and the two sons won't let me wear it anymore so I just go natural. Got the laundry done and some flowers planted today, then I couched. Laundry is no big deal, there is just the two of us and she has to do the sorting, I'm not taking the rap for wrong things washed together.
I still have some banilla so bring on the Tardis...S.J.

Good evening all,
IIABSDISEI. TMWUMNSFGH. IRL on Versus tonight at Texas. Sarah and IV are running. Team Red is starting in the first four positions. Did a Chief today. Mowed the yard (most of it, left the open spaces for Lucas), reffed two games, and did weights at the YMCA. Went to see "Angels and Demons" last night with the "saucy wench" (she likes Tom Hanks). I had waffles and sausages on the dining car for breakfast this morning. Beacon is lit for after the race. I hope everyone (especially Sarah and IV) have a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Afternoon all. Welcome Bob, I'd sure love to see your club someday!Finished up redoing the master bath last night. The shower curtain pole in the kid's bathroom collapsed with a crash at 330 this morn. Sure woke me up and couldn't figure out what happened where. LOL. Just finished fixing it. Sports day with the youngest - last soccer game of the season; a nice pizza party with the team, then waited on the bleachers in a downpour before his baseball game was called - he was covered in baseball field mud. LOL. Thinking of working on the layout but will probably grade papers and take a nap ;)

Back from funeral home and visiting the family. Taking our time to get going to the lake house. Don't know if Pam's family is coming or not. Sister and her teenage daughter are having Mom and Daughter disagreement today.
SJ, glad you are feeling better. Was really worried about you.

Howwdeee !
Started out brite blue skies and nothing but sun, now the clouds seem to be rolling in and a tad soggy. Oh well, if we get some rain it would be really nice.
It's alive !!!!!
The Galloping Goose is alive and well and should be back early next week. A great reccommendation from Don on a good repair shop for PS-1 and a much less than anticipated cost make me a Happy Camper.
Great day at the museum yesterday, and good news for sunday. Others signed up to run so my services will not be required.
Need to bug Lionel and find out what is up with my parts order.
Looking for some info on a K-Line car. There are some K-Line flats on E-Bay, UP 691-2111, and the seller's description is less than good shall we say plus no respose to my questions. I wasn't able to find any info on the K-Line Legacy site so does anyone here know these cars? They look like the scale one's that were made for a single container carrier.
Thanks for any info.

SJ - sashshay outdoors today? Would that be with or without the tootoo?
LAZ - Want to borrow the hay making equipment?

Trying to catch up after missing a few days.
AGHR Bob, Welcome to the coffee pot. Your club has a great layout, I had the pleasure of seeing it in 2007 at the invitation of Don Baker.
Buckeye, Condolances on the loss of your friend. And congratulations on the arrival of the grandchild.
And now I am struggling to remember what else I might have forgotten, darn old age.
RT, Take care of the "bug", hope it is not the new one going around.
All have a great weekend.
Rained just about every day here this week. Grass is high! Gotta sharpen blades then cut and bag it today. Usually I don't bag the clippings but this stuff is high enogh for hay.
Hope the PENs win tonite?
Stay Frosty,
Good Morning
Sun is shining and I think we are going into the 70s today.
Dining car rolled in with eggs, ham, fried taters and toast. It sure feels good to be me again. It appears my innards had a virus, probably a spinoff from the broncitis. I shall sashshay outdoors today and plant some more flowers. Have a great weekend all.

Morning all. Cloudy but the rain is suppose to be gone. Got funeral at 12 so not going to the lake house until later. Going to Miss Edna's with a load of veggies. Went to bed right after posting and slept till 8 this morning. See, I did not worry about Buckeye as the troops were on guard.
SEA, that is what I did in the US Army. The Herc series also had surface to surface "plugs" and Nuc warheads.
seacoast Chief, What is that in your pix a scud missile or I am guessing a NIKE Air to Air?
Chief,
What is that in your pix a scud missile or I am guessing a NIKE Air to Air?
Buckeye, seems like we all have too many funerals with friends this week.
Sure glad to see all the new guys posting. Summer is usually slow on forums but we are staying busy.
All have a great day and God bless all.
PS: don't forget, a lot of good men died on this date back in history.
Mornin' boys. Mornin' English. Sun is making an appearance here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Lots o' princess drama in fifedom last night = boys are sooo much easier... Graduation party at 6, so won't be on the 'putor anymore today.
Looks like we have some "arrivals" (), as well as some "departures" (). Best regards to all.

Tooook 4 minutttes toooo loaddd thisss papapageee.
Condolences for Buckey and Toms family !
Chuck that's a pretty cool invasion. Hope Buckeye has his deep waders with him !
Bob ! Now this is really great! The left coast contingency is really growing, at least 4 of us! Hope you come in frequently. (I need help cleaning out the old grinds, and shovelling all the grits out daily.) Ray retires too early, and Doug is always out playing with Thomas or something.
Had an interesting evening tonight. I learned the difference between HDMI compatible, and High Def TV. Chris got a HD box and service applied to HIS room, so I tried to connect it up to see what other sets in the house could get the expanded station. Turns out only 2, his and the one in the train room. As I understand it HDMI compatible simply means that TV can pick up all the other stations, digitial. And High Def is related to the resolution primarily. All the others are just two old. Going to have to get rid of some the older ones!
Also, talked to the guy that developed and marketing Bull Frog Snot. Arranged to get some for a trial basis. This stuff is suppose to eliminate traction tires. Will see what happens. It was originally developed for N scale. Curious as to hoe difficult to apply, and whether it will hold up with the O Scale weight.
Take care and have a Great Day !
Gotta get up in about 6 hours, so just a fly by Tardis is on the way - pick up Ray, then Wes and Doug, head to over to pick up RT and see if we can spot that big red Hummer, lol! We'll get all you guys on the way and then raid that banilla.
Buckeye - prayers for Tom's family and for you too, man.
PS - Welcome Bob!
Evening all

BOB, GREAT to join us here on the coffee pot. Hope you don't like GRITs and Sweet tea, they will both rot your teeth.
Well ran trains tonite for an hour and a half, NO PILE UPs great time. Ran a bunch of stuff and had a few OL MILs.
Stay frosty,
Blueberryhill RR We did it. We made a devious and cunning plot around the Chief's Birthday to move Buckeye south to Atlanta , GA. He has just landed at Atlanta airport and plans to infiltrate to the Carolinas. He will be hard to detect as he has rented a candy apple red Hummer and is driving at a high rate of speed. He plans on " toilet-papering " Chief's house in Roseyville, as Chief is at his Lake house. Buckeye has a huge sign reading "CSX Headquarters" which he will install in Chief's front yard. More information to come................

Made the round trip to the funeral today, got to visit with the few of us left of my mothers family. So many are already gone.
I have not done anything since we got home so no trains today.
Yep I still have some banilla so fire up the thingy, I think I shall ride along...S.J.
Chief - you'll be too busy running trains to notice the TP party.
Cleaning/vacuuming the train table tonight. Need it operational for the graduation party tomorrow!
Regards, Roy
Heavens to mercatroid. Foiled. Chief is at home and not lake house [got funeral to attend tomorrow]. Chief is ready:
Yanks lose again.
Buckeye, condolences on the loss of your friend. R.I.P.
AGHR Bob, welcome to the coffee pot. I know a few of the guys at AGHR like Matt, John P.and have met some of the others. Don't think you and I have met though. Nice big layout down there but it is a little distance from me (Glendora). I know some of your members drive a long way to get there but I',m too old for that drive now. I hate freeway driving anymore.

Let me be the first second to say
I see you have met the Chief. You will enjoy the "Coffee Pot". We are a little crazy, even a little childish, But hay we have a great time. Feel free to join in, ask questions (even about trains). We are all friends on this thread.

Great one Chuck! Keep us informed.
Buckeye - sorry about your good friend passing. Hopefully he went peacefully.
Chief - there are strange things afoot in your area of the country - particularly if they are driving around in candy apple red Hummers. If there is a plot devious enough to get Chuck stirred up it must be a doozy. The good news is in that rig he'll never make it out of Atlanta. He'll run out of gas! Meanwhile back at the ranch....
Good one Al!
