Does anyone know what the "Post Rank" is at the bottom of the screen when you click on someones user name?  I checked a couple, and there seems to be no pattern.

Chief - Did you turn OFF the "Notice to Replies to your Post" option in the profile screen?

The only other thing is make sure the DCS protocast is not set to broadcast, when you are holding down the Alt key on the keyboard.  Unless of course, you have the new version with software 3.1xxl downloaded, which will only work with cordless keyboards and trackballs.  Using the gritless bearings.

Just took me like an hour to read all the posts since yesterday - now it's time for bed!  Glad to see the pot is up and running.  Will take some getting used to though.  Got my July CTT!

Evenin' All, Everything all packed for the museum tomorrow, including a big pot of chili. Should be a very long day. I am still trying to remain open-minded about the new software, just have to wait and see how everything shakes out.

Mr. MTH is supposed to come by the museum tomorrow but I can't hang around after closing time, got family coming in from the east coast. Just in time to see the temps to go to 100+ for the next week.

Catch up with y'all in a couple of days.

Good morning to all.  Supposed to be warm today in the upper 80's near 90.  Pretty gray and damp right now.

Got to get to work extra early today have an appointment.

Take care.

Dennis, have a good trip to Valdosta.  I have been through Valdosta many times – we often stop at the McDonalds just off of 75.  One on trip when we got back on 75 we found the car would not shift out of second gear.  Of course it was a Sunday, so we parked it at the local GM dealer with a note and went to the International airport and rented a car.  What a pain that was.

It is off to another day at work....

We ran our Santa Fe El Capitan last night for a good long time. Had a blast doing it. On the other loop, Thomas was pulling gondolas filled with Fischer Price little people.

Heading up to NH for vacation tomorrow. Going to A Day Out With Thomas on Sunday. The kids don't know about it. Man, are they gonna be surprised!

Everything checked out ok at the doc's yesterday. I guess I'm in good shape for an old geezer.

I've got a lot of e-mails from people griping about the new forum. Has anyone thought about creating a thread where people can post the problems they're encountering? I think it would be good for CTT to see what problems there are, and how many people are unhappy. A civilized list might get some things fixed. Just a thought.

Morning All,

Going to be another warm one here again up North.  But what do I expect...it is July after all.  It sure is dry here, we have only had 3.5" rain since April.  The grass is getting real brown too.  One good thing, I do not have to cut it.

I got an ARC/AMC log loader for my layout back in May.  That is one cool accessory and lot's of  fun for the $110.  Sure is a pain to hook up those Lionel controller to controller wires though.  They could have made that one a lot easier with a better design.

     Have a good one.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill.....

Today is gloomy and humid. Going up to mid 80's today.

Maybe some rain later.

We are going to Dennison Depot today. They are having a Clambake

at 5 pm. Sounds like a good time. Lots of trains to watch and an " N "

gauge layout in the depot. Polar Express was here.

Time for breakfast. Talk more later.

Y'all have a great day.

Good morning all,

It is hot and muggy in SE Indiana with temps heading to the 90s today.  I was reading all the posts that have been made lately.  Wow, there sure has been a lot of activity!  Tmcc man, good luck with the ladies!  Have you been playing any soccer lately?  I practiced with the high school kids last night.  It is so humid you are dripping with sweat two minutes after you start!  I have to mow the grass sometime this weekend, maybe around 6 AM when it is halfway cool.  The neighbors might object, but then they can do it for me :-)  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Morning all.  Still getting those replies by email. Bob forwared an email to customer service and Bergie about it.  Yes, it is turned off in my profile.  Hey, no one answered my question abut the option for collapsing pannels. ????  I had it on for a while and then took it off last night.  Seems I was getting the two forum "blocks" at the bottom of the screen.  If so, then you can do as Buckeye says, with the shift key, toggle back and forth scroll all the posts.  HUMMM

Hot and humid.  Said it was the highest heat index of the year and might go higher today.  Dripped sweat all day long.  Clothes stayed wet until I showered last night.  Lightly soaked the garden as the heat was drying it out.  God finished soaking it last night with big rain.  Some got bad storms but we just got rain. Big Smile [:D]

Have a good one.

Hi GIZ,

Hot and humid here today, to hit 90s for the next week.

Played GOLF last nite against bro and did not win or loose, we tied and even had a 2 hole play off and were tied after that so we said lets go drink beer.  Tasted good even with a tie.

Got to do grass and pull weeds.  Maybe work on layout if it gets too hot?

All have a good one?

OTTS BOYS have fun on the field trip.

Goodness gracious this was a bear to figure out.

Good to see you all. Muggy and hot in Chicago this morning - beat the rain walking to work. Lots of work to do today - nobody in the office so I could wear jeans. Hope to go to the Illinois Railway Museum this weekend. There's an O modular layout there.

Tom, with all the help and noise about the layout at the museum, I thought it was built by now. Wink [;)]  Well, grass to mow when it dries out.  Breezy now so better than yesterday [no breeze then].  Later

You're a PP, David. A Prolific Poster! So you're the no. 1 guy we're all following? The Chief's no. 2, but he tries harder? I just looked up my ranking. I thought I'd be somewhere near no. 600. I'm ranked no. 16! If I bump you 15 guys ahead of me off, I will be no. 1!

David, you are a PP [as Jim says] and a great supporter of the forum.  Now to be a blaber mouth, you hve to be a New England Yankee. Thanks for the good wishes Mike. I have been playing soccer, but as you said, it is pretty humid out. I actually fainted a few days ago, that wasn't fun at all.

I have been making some plans for the shore, and have to call Jay (neighbor with the boat) to see if we are going fishing. Hopefully we will. Talk to you guys later.

I just found out we've lost a few Hollywood stars from the old days. Red Buttons died yesterday, and June Allyson died Saturday. I used to enjoy watching both of those film stars.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm back in Langenburg right now.  My car is currently getting repaired.  Two weeks ago, some guy backed into me in a parking lot, denting my bumper and rear fender.  Amazingly, the taillight was undamged.  The car was more than driveable and since it was the other guy's fault, his insurance pays it, so nothing to worry about.  Rather than get  rental car or live without driving for a bit, I thought I might as well take a break back home for a few days.

My work at the museum is going very well and I'm really enjoying it.  I spend most of my time at the museum's warehouse working with a few others.  The museum has an enormous amount of artifacts that they want to get rid of and so my work generally consists of inventorying those items or searching for specific items that are going to be sent to another museum.  It is important to note that when I say "searching for" that does not always mean "finding".

I got a call yesterday from a lady from the Melville chamber of commerce asking if I'd like to exhibit at a train show that is going to be held on the 29th.  That day was quite convienient for me and naturally I said "yes".  Melville is a big railroad town with a major CN yard.  They tried to organize a train show last summer, but it fell through.  Hopefully this year things will go better.  It sounds like they will.
