Mornin' All, Just to drop in and wish all the Dads out there a Happy Father's Day!
Just a quick visit have to finish packing up then load up and head for the museum, should be a fun day.
Tim, If you get much farther north you'll end up with one of those funny accents and start drinking Molsons. [:o)]

Morning all. Stormed here most of the night. Now its gone to East Texas. Happy Father's Day to all. Do not have to be to the store until 10AM CDT. Seems funny not to pack up and be ready to go on Sunday morning. Don't fly out until tomorrow PM late. Later

Good morning from Gettysurg and Happy Father's Day to all. It's a real scorcher here today. It's already 91 here with temps to go higher, maybe to 96.

Went to church and then part of the family came. Going to watch the race and then have dinner when the rest of the family gets here.

Take care,

Mitch

Afternoon all.
Had a great weekend so far. Had to check on a patient yesterday, and then went to the farm to take the kids on their first fishing outing. Caught two small bream, as it was about 10 am and hot, so not much action, but I didn't expect to hold the attention of small kids very long. This morning, went to church and then back to the hospital, and then out to lunch with the family.
Funny thing, when you go to church for Mother's day, it is nothing but praise for the wonderful job they do, but go on Father's day and it is admonishment of where we are lacking and that we need to do a better job of raising our kids. Oh well.
Got back home and had a nice message from Chief. Thoughtful character he is. It is good that we have such people in our midst.
God Bless,
Dennis

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads

Kieth stop by the museum with Bob's 1688. He did a great job on the repairs and it runs like a champ.

Bob - Kieth should be sending it back to you soon.

Happy Fathers day to all the fathers!

Got a bunch of stuff but the only train items were a train pocket watch and pocket knife set and a gift certificate to my favorite train store (which will be used to help pay for my Lionel preorder items).

Had a great meal last evening at my favorite Italian restaurant and a good day today.

Hope all the other fathers enjoyed their day as much.

Mitch, Looks like you will soon get your 1688 back.

Chief, With that schedule you definately need to see the Cardologist. don't miss that appointment. Which store is in Sevierville? My daughter lived there a few years ago and I don't recall either having a store there at that time.

Home for a week, then off to Columbus OH, train store in Wheeling WV, back to Columbus, fly thru ...........................

Chuck, did you know about this trip of the Chief's? [?][?][?][?] As long we can keep him between the lines on I-70, I believe we are doing a great job. [:D]

Last week, I was all over Ohio. Meetings in Akron, but I did get a chance to visit Glen's Train Shop. If they made it Glen has it.

I was also in Cincinnati and then back north to Cleveland for more meetings. Also had meetings in Columbus on one of my favorite topics, trains. [:D]

I hope everyone had a great Father's Day. My daughter had us over to her house for supper and to watch the U.S. Open on her HD TV.

Tomorrow I get to go see the dentist for a bridge.

BTW, Tom, I bought a Lionel Smoking Caboose at Glen's to run some tests. The fire extinguisher will be real close.

BuckeyeYep. I knew about the trip. No problem. Chief has such a
congested schedule, he'll probably forget Columbus. All is OK.

Man thats a lot of travel...I leave for Louisville on Tuesday til Monday...We work a week in the shop and then head for the Senior open outside Witchita for a week. After that I think we head to Indianapolis for tennis... Ah USAirways...I'm kinda stuck with them here in Pitt. Although it was better when we were a hub. Now I connect a lot more mostly through Charlotte. I avoid Philly at all costs.

Any way had a good day today. Breakfast at my brothers, dinner at my wife's father's house. Cut the grass and layed low. No layout work today. Have a good evening all.

Good Morning to All,

Well it's back to work for me. Will be a busy week. I have a training today with some staff and a meeting to screen applications for an interview committee that I was asked to serve on. Construction planning meeting tomorrow. Wednesay we have interviews all day. Thursday will be my first full day at work in almost two weeks. Lots of mail and e-mail to catch up on.

My brother was here and took the shell on my 248 to "soda" blast it to get it smoother and remove some of the pittng on the surface. The way he explained it, it is like sand blasting with baking soda.

Have a great day.
Good Morning from Blueberryhill
It is raining now. 70 degrees. No rain yesterday. Looks
like an all day affair. Going up to 80, later.
Today, I have a few things to do around the house. Local shop is picking up the riding
mower, to put on a new belt and new blades. It needs it. Runs good, though.
All you guys that are back to work today, I hope you have a good day.
Talk more later.
Y'all have a great day.

Good morning all,

It is cloudy and muggy in SE Indiana with temps in the 70s and 80s, depending on the amount of rain we get. I had a nice Father's Day watching World Cup games. The weather cooled off enough for me to run the standard gauge a little upstairs as well. I am starting to write my soccer stories. I hope someday to have some children's books, but that may be a pipe dream. If I don't write them, I know I will never have them. We got a lot of rain last night and more is forecast for today. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

I had a nice Father's Day weekend with my family. Caught some kind of creepin crud here at work though. Friday night I went home and started to feel like a cold was coming on. I chalked it up to allergies. Saturday I felt worse, but still thought allergies. Yesterday I had coughing fits and recurring bouts with hiccups all day. The severe coughing would trigger the hiccups, which would last an hour or better. I had a good case of them when I was talking to the Chief Sunday morning. Sorry, Chief. My office mate showed up for work this morning with the same illness, so it had to have been spread here. Bird flu? Maybe. I am a bird brain.

HI GIZ,
At 6 this morn was 68 to get to 87?
Ran 6 and got work out in.
Did anyone watch the US OPEN? PHIL looked like me playing the 18th hole.
He really botched that up. Wonder what was he thinking?

Went trout fishing on Sat nite and caught and released 7 while brother caught and released 8.
Great nite caught mine on fly. First time in a while I used the fly rod felt great.

We need rain.
Creeeks are low and thats not good for the trout.
Yesterday hit 96 in Millersburg, too HOT.

Have a good one.

Are you following the soccer craziness?

If you are have you noticed that other countries sing during the games whereas in US baseball, B-Ball and football they either cheer, jeer or chant but I never hear this singing stuff.

Why is it that everyone else sings?

Well we just got one of those sidewalk wetter rains. Looks like we could get a littel more, hope so, we need it.

David, I guess they sing because soccer is so boring.

Quiet day here, all have a good one.
