Welcome back Chuck!

John,

The "Page" function seems to not be working on my Mac (perhaps it works on a PC) so you can go back.

Another option is to go to the search engine and type in the word Caesarea.

That one word will bring up a majority of the posts I've done on the Holy Land! Pretty neat, hey?

Good morning all,

It is sunny with temps heading to the low 60s in SE Indiana today. It is amazing what a good night's sleep will do for you! I did very little last night, but hope to play some soccer this evening. One of these nights I will watch the Veronica tape from Tuesday! I hope everybody has a good day.

Keep on training,

Morning all. Been raining off and on since Tuesday night. [:D] Out the door to Houston Texass Bass Pro until Sunday night.

Dennis and Jim A, Help. T&RSA Bought two MTH NS tank cars from Miss Edna yesterday. Also won a SF Caboose [great price] on the auction.

Got to run. Rain means Charlotte airport is backed up big time so will rush and sit at RDU. Charlotte is the worse airport in the USA.

God bless.

I'm here for you, Chief. Resist temptation. You can do it!

I've been clean for 23 days now - and loving it! No new purchases in sight, either.

[8D]Wow! It's bright in here this morning. Must be all those new stars! [;)] Congrats to Laz and Sask for the 5th star. You realize that puts you in a higher tax bracket?! [}:)]

Chuck! Glad you're home and on the mend. I'll keep you on my prayer list as you regain your strength and continue your recovery. [:)]

Jim F. - Could you post some pics of your Lego structures? I'm curious as to how they are turning out.

Cooler today but we only got a trace of rain yesterday. Oh well.

Dennis - Sorry you're under the weather. Grits would have probably cured you if you had gotten some in time!

Dave - Again, marvelous pictures. I enjoy seeing them!

Y'all have a good one!

Good Morning All:

I am glad to hear that Chuck is back home. Take it easy Chuck! Rest up and get better.

David:

That is some vacation! I like the pictures.

Laz:

Congratulations on five stars. Your Indians could use some of that star power. [;)]

Last night little John ran one of the trains off of my refurbished TW transformer. At 2 1/2 years old it was amazing how he intuitively figured out the F-N-R-N gear changes with the direction throttle. He was starting, stopping, reversing, like an old pro. I just hope my trains are durable enough for this treatment.

Regards,

Chuck, I'm glad you are back on Blueberry Hill where you can smell that fresh country air and see the dogwoods in bloom. [8D][8D][8D]

LAZ and SASK, Congratulations for the five stars. [:D][:D][:D][:D] But more importantly thank you for your participation in the CTT forum. Both of you have contributed significantly to the enjoyment of many.

The mechanical department of the Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash Railroad is going to be putting in long hours of overtime. My Chessie GP-30 is going back to Lionel for a major overhaul. [:(] My K-Line Mikado threw a traction tire and the garden railroad lines trolley track is only working about half the time. [:(]

Have a good day.

Mid 60's and sunny here today. So I threw on a pair of dark sunglasses and went walking around the town of Lexington at lunch. Didn't see any redcoats or minutemen. Did see a huge hawk. Heard him screeching before I saw him. Everything is in bloom here.

Sox lost to the Tribe last night. How'd that happen? Word around here is that Clemens is coming back to Boston to close out his career. We'll know in a week or two.

Cleaned wheels and track last night. Then painted the new benches I made. Then read OGR till I fell asleep.

Congratulations, Sask!

Dennis - horking up blood is one of a handful of things that would make me schedule a doctor's visit. I hope you do so and get well soon.

I'm not supposed to be sitting up too much, but I loaded these from my camera to my webpage raw - I didn't edit them down, so they will blow up really big. Also, sorry, they are a little blurry - apparently I wasn't hold very still. I'll fix it when I'm able.

You should be able to see that there are light gray arches between the legs. These will be replaced with dark gray. Also, the footings should all be the same when it's done - I had to use regular slope pieces to fill in for now. Also, the sanding tower is just a platform right now and the sand pile should be much bigger when it's all done. The ladder on the sanding tower platform will be black when it's all done (I hope).

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Good afternoon,

Again, Welcome home Chuck. Take care of yourself and keep up with the therapy.

Tom, Do you run those large steamers on 027 track?

Laz, congrats on 5 stars.

Jim, Nice pics of the Lego layout. I've seen pictures of some really big Lego club layouts but have never seen any in person. Quite facinating what can be done with them.

Chief, I have only flown through Charlotte one time and that was years ago, but it wasn't very much fun. Our connecting flight was miles (at least it seemed that way) away from our arrival gate. I do have a connection to that area. My Dad was an aircraft electrician at Morris Field which is the present location of the Charlotte Airport, from 41 to 44. I was just a kid at the time.

It is a beautiful day here, did some garden work this morning and plan on more this afternoon.

All have a good day.

Chief, going through Charlotte I usually had time enought to grab a sandwich and a liquid refreshment at the pub, don't recall the name, at the intesection of two of the terminals. Even if you don't have a brew the sandwiches were pretty good. That's assuming things haven't changed in the past 5 years.

WELCOME HOME CHUCK

Well, today was good, not much else to say

Jefelectric I do know some stuff about steamers.

I am a little disappointed about Sunday Photo Fun, because there is no challenge for me now. What happened to my quizzes?

Doug,

Once you fire up the sawzall and use the crow bar and sledge, and after a few minutes of adrenaline, and perhaps a glass or 2 of Port, it ain't so bad. [:D]

SASK, Congratulations on the fifth star.

Doug, Don't envey you your job. Been a long time since I took a layout apart. Not nearly as much fun as putting it together.
