Glad to hear that all our ill friends are on the mend.

The devil must be getting chilly,[}:)] the Mrs. has been working on the skirting for the layout. If anyone needs to get a Velcro type product for hanging skirting, or other uses, try this company, their prices were the best I found on the internet and the delivery was fantastic, even with UPS.

The web address is www.buyhookandloop.com They are a div. of Eastex Products, Inc. They have a large variety of sizes. I'm usiong 1" with an adhesive back. I did have a problem with Paypal accepting my order and had to call it in. They said I'm not the first.

Paul, If Colin lives up to his reputation, he will probably figure it out by the size and location of the headlight.

Finally got the outdoor spring cleanup done. Grandson helped this morning. Now we are ready for Summer. Jean planted some of my greenhouse products in the window boxes & planters.

All have a good one.

If you did that all my neighbors would be in a panic - who would cut their lawns?

I was out early this morning, leaf blowers from my neighbors landscapers woke me up at 7a.m. I'm getting sick of it. !/2 the traffic I see every day is landscaping trucks. No one on the "North Shore" of Chicago cuts their own grass. To busy playing golf, health club, and ignoring their kids. I'm looking forward to the day my kids graduate high school. Then I'm heading to Wisconsin.

Yeah Doug - I saw that. Absolutely pathetic. Changing those laws in Mexico will have a extremely detrimental effect on the US.

Well, back from the Garden Railway Club's meeting. I won an award for Rookie Of The Year, and I was really suprised.

Good evening all,

It was a cloudy day in SE Indiana with temps in the 60s. I got to run the standard gauge twice today, which was nice. That box car was acting up again. I may have to lay new track to keep it from derailing. I finally got to watch the IRL race from last weekend. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Keep on training,

I went to my local dealer today and picked up the MTH 2006 vol. 2 catalog. Here are some photos of my new MTH Premier PRR N6b caboose that I picked up today as well. This is such a cool caboose. Well detailed and it is rather unique. Note the curved roof. I ordered this last Feb I believe. The catalog also had the PRR MTH Premier Decapod. That is an awesome locomotive from the photos. I am still giving Lionel the chance to produce one in scale so I can take advatage of TMCC and Lionel sounds. But I am so tempted to buy the MTH. Lionel, if you are out there and reading these posts please take the hint!

Hey mickey 4479[:D]
that is a really nice cab. i have the PRR 4 wheel bobber cab and it too is a nice piece.
i have had some really rotten luck with MTH Rail King Locomotives and a few of their rolling stock the couplers have fallen off . but cant say anything bad about how good their stiff looks.
really nice display models[}:)][}:)].
I like PRR steam and C&O. i hope MTH does either the T-1 or J-1 in rail king might buy one.
hey CSXT 30?? have a problem with a CSX dash 40-c lionel. it will not cycle thru and only runs forward.
no railsounds either but using a CW-80 transformer. also have a NYC 4-6-4 that has railsounds and it too only runs forward. the whistle blows a lot and will not reverse.
is it something wrong with the locos or transformer??
any one with any ideas as to what might be the problem would like to hear from you.
VGN brakeman has the 2 lionels and he bought them cause i said lionels were better than MTH if he cant get them going Iam going have to eat some crow[B)][B)].
good weekend and tomarrow iam going to bristol for a operating session on McCrackens
Bristol Line layout.
have agood evening all.

Nice and rainy here- a great basement day. After three hours at Little League in a drizzle yesterday I can do with the rest. Laid the green grass-like carpet last night and found I need another roll - I can never calculate this stuff right. Was going to go out at 930 last night but was talked out of it by my bride. Today is the first Sunday I'm not working our church services in almost six months. So I'm here online instead of being over there so I don't disrupt the 'routine' of the rest of the house getting ready for services. Have a great day!

Cool and overcast, looks like rain. Sitting here trying to work up the ambition to spend the next three hours on the lawn tractor cutting grass, ugh.[V]
Good Morning from Blueberryhill
It's 54 and cloudy. Going up to 70 degrees and cloudy.
I wish it would be sunny later. There's a chance.
Not much doing on the rehab scene today. Breathe exercises.
Have to do some walking.
Love to run downstairs and run trains. Can't go up or down stairs for another week.
I think I will buy a new engine, for a home-coming gift for me. Yep.
Well, I will go for now, take care.
500 mile NASCAR race today.
Y'all have a great day.

Good Morning All from NE Ohio

where the temp is 59 and going up to 65 with overcast skies.

Legalized drugs, put a tax on it, open up free clinics and remove the crime, Maybe he has something there ! ! Remember when we had a war on drugs, I think we lost it.

Chuck – NHRA is on tonight for real speed.(ESPN2 at 7:00pm) Cory Mac had a real bad crash during qualifications. AT 280 mph his dragster lifted up in the middle and came apart. He is ok.

Pick of the Day

All be safe

Morning all,
Trying to keep the rest of the family healthy, now my son has the flu. Poor wife has to deal with two pitiful souls and keep a healthy crumbsnatcher out of trouble. I have to head into work and hopefully get home to rest soon. Looks like rain today and you won't see my tail on the tractor. Oh well. Have a good one.

Beautiful day here and headed to 84.

Cleaning up the hone office and train closet (can't get into it).

Went and picked up my 3 milk cars and Weaver NYC MoW car from buddy that brought it back from York.

My better half is headed to Phoenix this week to see her sisters so I have charge of the house and kids [oX)][}:)] until she returns Wed night. She's got the digital camera so no pics this weekend of my new stuff.

Like Chuck, looking forward to NASCAR this afternoon. May have to mow the lawn later.

Chief - hope your trip home goes well tonight!

Have a great day all!

Rain delay at Talledega. Watching the Braves.

Cleaned up under some blue spruce trees this morning. Amazing how many leaves and other junk gets caught there. Cut off a few of the lowest branches, may make it easier for the leaves to keep on movin on. Also quite funny how no wind until I try to rake up the leaves.

There is a thread on the OGR forum about how the Eastern Division of TCA is in an uproar over pictures taken of the Trackers display layout. The Trackers will not be invited back and if the picture taker is caught, will be banned from the York meet for a year.

*Sigh!* Talladega is only an hour from here and raining. We can't seem to buy rain in Prattville.

Guess I'll keep my tabs on the NFL draft this afternoon. Busy morning today - Men's breakfast, Bible study and worship, then luncheon for Sunday School leaders. This afternoon another meeting, teach a discipleship class, evening worship service, then a men's ministry meeting.

All in all, a good day - busy - but good! [:)]

Chief, The guy from Raleigh wasn't the mayor was it?

Greg, That post on OGR is up to 3 pages last I looked and there is now one on CTT. This is going to put a big or should I say bigger wedge in TCA.

Looks like NASCAR is still rained out, just tuned in to see what was happening and they have MASH reruns on.

Mickey, What do you think of the operating caboose in the MTH catalog. Looks good but pretty expensive.

Chuck, Bet that is a drag, not being able to run trains. Well a week should go by pretty fast.

All have a good day.

I have been putting the Garden Railroad in tip top shape.

First new plants and mulch. Clean the pond and get the pump running. Set up the structures. Clean the deck. Bring deck furniture up from the basement. Test the trains. They worked great!

I'm tired.

Tomorrow I mow the lawn.

BTW, did you see all those Buckeye taken by the NFL?

TomS, love watching the Sabres put the hurt on Philly.

Decent day in central North Carolina. I didn't get to do any train activities, but I did get my boat out for the first time this year. My daughter caught a catfish.

Currently 54 degrees. Goodnight!
