You should do a paper on how the changes from Steam to Diesel trains, changed the life’s of so many people.

See, even a "left banker" has excellent taste. [:D] Got the garden disked [still have tomatoes and peppers] and turnip seeds and lettuce seeds sowed. Guy who rents next door [who no speaka the Engli***oo good] came over and trimmed pecan tree libs off of the roof for me. He is small and light weight so he could climb the steeeeep roof [I have Cape Cod house]. I use do it years ago. Now too old and heavy. [;)] [maybe too smart]. I will get the John Deere out tomorrow and mow his yard for him [he has push mower]. Really nice guy. Wife really no speaka the English. She smiles and says, "Thank you" each time I had her a bag of tomatoes, apples and hot peppers. Buckeye, wife is really interested in garden train now. See what you started. You could discuss all the different personalities that show up from time to time. Of course you should use fictitious names like Buckeye, Spanky and Chief in your paper to protect the innocent.

Better yet, I believe we could easily help you write any paper or report you need for school this year. Just post the topic and ask for help and bingo-bango your done with all your research.

Good morning America and other parts of the world! Well tomorrow is the big fishing trip to Canada so I won't be posting much for a week and 1/2. I'll be using all that stuff I bought at Cabela's last week from the Chief who is counting his money down south in Rossyville. Might get to see the Algoma Central roll past the camp while I am there but that is the extent of the trains.

No a buckeye is a buckeye, but it is something like a walnut.

Milk chocolate on the outside, peanut butter in the center and on the "dome" to look like a buckeye. In a red and white box with OU on the front. [:D] I ate the whole thing. [:D] OH, forgot. I have the real thing on top of my computer. It came from the NC Capital grounds in the 70's. Think the tree died. Had it in my office on my desk until I retired. Brought it home and it sits all shinny on my processor beside my screen.

A recipe from a great Ohio company. A load of these in your gondola would be great!

Buckeyes

1-1/2 cups Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter
2-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate coating

Melt chocolate. Mix peanut butter, sugar, margarine, and vanilla until semi-dry and crumbly. Shape into 1/2-inch balls. Dip balls into melted chocolate, leaving the top of the ball uncovered to resemble a buckeye. Place balls on wax paper lined baking pan. Refrigerate until set.

Makes approximately five dozen for the Chief to eat in about two hours.

Thx Chief for the picture help.

Watched a pbs show last night on saving the jaguars.

This lady needed to place tracking devices on these big cats and got help of local dog handlers.

A dozen or two large hounds, including one beagle that looked like my BB Beagle.

Off they went thru swamps and jungles filled w/alligators, snakes and mean critters

Howling up a storm

After a spell, a howl of pain in the distance was heard

The big cat had got one of the dogs

I knew right away it was probably the beagle.

Why?

Best hunting dog around, small enough to clear the undergrowth, a good sniffer, doggedly persistant, courageous, and sometime foolhardy.

Sure enough.

When cameramen got there, the poor beagle was layed out w/bite marks but looked like it would survive. A little hero.

The cat was drugged and collared. Mission accomplished.

What a wonderful little hound dog.

I've been getting a Microsoft update notice for the past several days. Since today is my day off I decided to download and install it today. It was "Windows XP Service Pack 2". I neglected to look at the time requirement before hitting "install". After coming back into the room an hour later I noticed the time requirement. It took over 7 hrs! (I use a dial-up connection) I hope it was worth it.

That is funny. Been waiting for it to download. Mine is on Express Download. Suppsoe to do it automatically. [?][?] Who knows, it may have already done it. Funny, it is offering the samething that my Norton 2004 is now doing anyway. Fire wall, popup blocker, spam blocker, virus protection and internet security. So far, it zaps things trying to slip into my computer. Lets me trace them down [if you want too] and see who they are.
