Good Morning All,

NE Ohio has mostly Blue Clear Skys this morning with temp at 65 and going to 80 today and no rain. We had temp of 78 yesterday. What a great day, to bad we had to work.

Has anyone tried to burn Buckeye’s video to a cd in DVD format. Wonder if it would play on our TV then[?]

here in Southwest NY it's going to be great here also. Supposed to be near 80. I am going to use a chain saw for the first time today. I've got to get these trees cleaned up that we lost in the storm a few weeks back.

Hope you all have a great day.

Also supposed to be near 80 down here in the sunny south. It made it to 78 yesterday.

Pardon me while I finish my coffee. Have a great day, y'all.

Another beautiful day here - it was in the 80s yesterday - I'm sure we'll get a thunderstorm soon. Supposed to cool off a bit later in the week. Here's a link to a local story about a professional angler on the walleye tour who wowed some local school kids about her fishing skills. It's amusing to hear the kids say things like 'I didn' t know a girl could fish' http://www.nwherald.com/CommunitySection/298380743636745.php Some competition for Chief. Speaking of which, did anyone see the K-Line email that hawks a North Carolina NCAA championship Plymouth train set and boxcar? See http://www.k-linetrains.com/specials/goheels.cfm

I want to find a local train store that serves cookies!

Dave - another grill hint - make sure you use the drip tray or can properly. Be careful of using that RealTrax, the heat around the bottom of my grill is enough to singe plastic

Uh OH ! I see where BB the beagle takes over Dave's house when he is at work. She probably makes Peanut Butter sandwiches while he's gone and invites the Neighbor dog's over for lunch and to run the trains on Dave's layout ! And Dave wonders why there's bread crumbs on the layout.[:)][;)].............Keith

Morning gang. Been on the phone a lot with boss this AM. HEY, I'm retired????? More shows and store openings. I'm going to St. Louis next week instead of Nashville. Jon, looking very good on the Duluque Iowa trip Memorial Day. Roy, still looks like July 14 is Ft. Worth trip. Keith, that is a pretty good story about BB. Bet that is what goes on. Now BB might learn how to light that new grill and cook up some steaks too. High 80's today and rest of the week [they say???]. Got grass to mow and neighbor's too [widow lady who has very little income and she has been in and out of hospital]. Tom, if it works, I want to purchase a copy. Have a good day and God bless all.

No, BB is one of those dogs who invites his buddies over to play poker while Dave is at work - I have a picture of one of their games...

guys, my daughter came home from college the other day while I was at work and fried some fish. Left it too close the counter edge and BB the beagle jumped up, pulled the whole fish down and ate it. She had that mischievous look when I came home and I knew something was up before discovering the pan on the floor. She ate the fish's head and eyeballs as well.

Chief,

I only have a CD burner. Can copy music disc but can't do the DVD.

If you have a CD/DVD burner, try making a dis and then play it on your TV.

Dave, my two dachshunds would probably do the same as BB. They will eat anything that won't eat them (and would probably try to eat something that would eat them!)

Maybe since BB's rabbit habitat is dwindling because of development she is thinking of taking up fishing instead of hunting!

You go, BB! Our dauschund Rudy will eat everything - that's why he looks like a brawtwurst instead of a hot dog. He eats mostly table scraps - Let's see, last night for dinner, he had some chicken, sweet potatoes, beans and carrots.

Dave, I've been to China many times over the years. And the fish head is the most desirable part of the fish. Usually the most important person at the table will be given the head as a sign of honor.

So the dog is just being cross cultural.

besides, my dog would have eaten the fish, then nawed on the handle of the pot if left unchecked in the kitchen for too long.

The program burns the code on to a CD-RW disk instead of a CD-R disk and it will play in most DVD players that are not over 4 years old.. I'll take care of you.[:D]

Hello All: 80 F today with a nice breeze off of Lake Ontario supposed to cool down by weeks end. We had our third train club meeting last night, 25 have paid the initiation fee, for now we are meeting in a local church, Our goal is to have a permanent home by Sept. We put the minister in charge of that one ( He's hard to say No to, if you know what I mean) David: BB sure keeps you on the move, I don't whats worse the dog, the wife, or a 16 year old daughter (who thinks she's 22). Maybe our experinced folks can vote on that one. Its good to have a few days off work right now, I installed the central air today, tomorrow the central vac& rough in the basement pot lights. Everyone have a good HUMP day & take care Kind regards Steve

The stuff came today from Digital Dynamics. I now have a Williams Dash-9 equipped with
TMCC and railsounds 4.0. The whole thing took about 3.5 hours to install. Just tested it and everything works great. Tomorrow I will re install the shell, and yes everything fits inside (very tight) and no parts left over. The inside of the shell is 1.25" and the electronics are 1.25". Planning took longer than anything.

Sunny today and 60 degrees. Thats the hottest day so far this year. Off to bed...Tim

Up and going this AM. Off to Kerr Lake. Weather people should be shot. Can not get a consistant weather report [even from the same TV station]. One guy is saying by weekend [I'll be at BPS so who cares] snow in the mountains and cold wind chills here. I think the Yanks are launching one more attempt to attaack the South. Funny as they will ge the snow and maybe big time. Watchout OH, WV and PA. Tim and Jon may have gotten some over night. Tim, hope you read insturctions at least three times to make Buckeye happy. Good Morning All,

NE Ohio is still warm at 68 deg and going to 75 before the bottom falls out tonight. By the weekend we may see some wet white stuff. Yesterday it hit 82 and sunny.

Chief – behave or we will some of it south.

Buckeye – That sounds great. I need to find someone close to me with a CD- DVD burner.

How clear were Digital Dynamics instructions? The instructions from TA were not very good. The instructions referenced color coded wires on the unit and the actual wires on the unit were all black! [:(]

HI GIZ,
56 and nice again this morn to get to 84!
Have the kids trained real good caught and released 9 trout last night brother caught and released 6. Also put 4 turkeys to bed was pretty neat watching them fly up to there roost. Saw the same turkeys this morning on my drive to school in a field eating breakfast. Too bad I don't hunt them would be real easy to get one here.
All have agood one.

The day here in Southwestern NY is starting out great...sunny and about 60. It should reach mid 70's before it falls apart later. Only supposed to be in the mid 50's Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday and Sunday all those folks who went south for break are going to bring all that cold weather back north with them as they return home...sorry Chief. Probably a rain-snow mix for the weekend. Oh well, at least we know that this time of year it won't last for long.

Have a good day everyone.

splurged on a deck last night. They're building it in June. Need the deck for the BBQ and for BB to sunbathe on.

trouble is, how do I move a 500 lb grill nine feet up the deck steps?

Planning to also put an outdoor 3-rail track on the deck, called the BBQ & BB Railrairoad.

Morning everyone!

I received my WIlliams FA-2 and three O-27 streamliners in GM&O scheme from Marty at Ma & Pa Junction. They look great! [:)] The paint job is very well done in the maroon, red and black paint scheme - the colors look right and the paint separation is crisp. The FA-2 is similar to the Lionel and K-Line versions. It has a single horn (like Lionel's) and a pilot and side skirts more like the K-Line model. The frame, trucks and couplers are all die-cast, giving the unit good heft. It has a single can motor which should be sufficient for passenger service on a flat layout like mine. The set included a pullman, vista dome and observation car. The set should run on O-27 curves with ease, provided there's enough clearance from buildings and scenery on curves.

Overall, I think Williams has a winner. My one complaint - no number on the engine or number boards. I may add this myself. Now if Williams would come out with an F-3 in GM&O colors to go with their E-7, PA-1 and FA-2. (I'm not greedy! [:D] )

Don't move that grill yourself Dave. Ask the deck guys to do if for a little cash. Ridiculously warm here - even after thunderstorms last night. Dr. John, those Williams units sound wonderful. Thanks for the mini-review - now we just need to see pictures!
