GOOD MORNING,
Chief, just tell them yanks about all those house fires, that should send them somewhere else.
Overcast as usual,43 today. sure better than snow. My wife fixed me waffles for breakfast, wonder what she wants now. No plans for today as yet but I am thinking about switching from netzero to cable, way too many disconnects.Your thoughts: I only use this for entertainment.
Its Fri. have a safe week end,,,,,,,Sir James
Morning all. Dark and dreary Ran trains last night. Pileups and derailments! Percy derailed pretty consistently in the far corner of the layout. I swapped his train to see if it was a coupler issue, checked to see if he was in gauge, then put him on another loop where he started derailing in another place. A good puzzle to ponder. But it was sure fun to run them all. Spent a delightful evening afterward researching British freight practices and the protoypical antecedents for Thomas and his friends.RT, where did you post your stuff?
ChicoChip and Jason, Welcome! CSXect, I read an interesting article in an old Trains about rail-served chicken plants in Arkansas - they got hoppers full of grits. I remember now - it was the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad - I think they still run excursions too - and Alcos. See http://www.arkansasmissouri-rr.com/Brutus, hope Chewey settles in on his new furniture... Need some banilla this morning.

Jonel uses it for ballast. Did his whole layout with it. IGNORE IGNORE [actually I missed it, well forgot to reply to it, old minds forget]
Morning all. Damp here. Say we will get some storms. Breakfast and coffee to fix. Got to get moving. More train room work. Meeting with reporter at 3:30 in my office. So much to talk about???? I think they just need to fill space.
HELP!!!! We are being overrun by Yankees since the Roseyville link was posted. They must have been moving all night to get to God's best place on earth. PD just arrested an illegal. Someone from Rogers Corner screaming he is a friend of the Mayor and has electric trains.
All have a great day [isn't it great we can have fun].

Good morning all,
It is colder and cloudy in SE Indiana with temps in the 30s. Fired up my old Lionel train game on the PC last night with the new monitor. I can actually see the trains! It makes it much more enjoyable and easier to play. Still not doing much else. Maybe I will get motivated this weekend to do something. The dining car has been here and left already. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a cloudy 36 degrees. Going up to a cloudy 44 today. We had a few nasty thunderstorms last night.
Today is a busy day. I have to drive into Cambridge to take care of some business. Maybe some train time later this afternoon. I need to relax in the train room for awhile.
Buckeye....Have a safe trip to Orlando. Watch your back.
Dining car has rolled in and it's time for breakfast. Later.
Y'all have a great Friday.

Good evening guys,
Welcome to the newcomers.

Evening All
Started night shift. Wouldn't you know it, the sheetmetal for my roof came in today. Only about a month late. Hopefully next week when I'm off the weather will continue to be unseasonably nice and I can get the roof on the garage. I did get 8 tons of crusher run delivered and made the ramp made up into the garage. Lots of raking and tamping. Got to say, it felt pretty good to park the truck in it's new home, even if it doesn't have a roof.
Welcome all new faces. Don't mind the fuzz in the bottom of the cup. It will usually wash out.
RT-Good to hear from you. I will pray for positive employment for you. Are going to get rid of all your train stuff? I hope all will work out.
New quarter starts this weekend, so back to studies. Cannon Law II and Church History in America are the courses. I've had both if the professors before, so it should be interesting.
Good night all
May God bless
Jim

One CA guy that definitely had his brain shook too much by earth quakes. That is for sure. DCS can't hold a light to Legacy remote.
Now John is just mad becasue I slipped GRITS into PA last year.
Wish everyone would quit posting the Roseyville link as we have too many Yankees now. All of them will try to move to Roseyville. Now those from Rogers Corner are declared illegal aliens.
Good night.

Don
Got the car done for my son (uh, with him, ah-hem). Put the evil emperor on the tobagun and added a "rope" made from a piece of copper wire, 12 ga. Can cut off some to make weight if we have to do so.
Welcome to the new guys, this is a great forum and lots of great folks here on the pot. Chewy curse, LOL - that was a good one! Chewy is a little stressed. We replaced "her" couch with two Lay Z Boys (no train money for a while after that one) and she can't figure out what to do with herself. She was trying to lay wedged between my leg and the arm of the chair. It's a big chair, but I'm a big boy and I'm not sure it was comfy for either of us. Now she's on the old couch, just spread out and sad looking (kinda like Rudy the other day, Doug!).
Sir James, we have some Key Lime Pie, so come on over and grab some. Or, if you have some Butter Pecan icecream, that would be great!
RT I sent you an email about USA JOBS website - go check it out if you want a Federal job.

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Now this is an interesting link.

Hi all I'm still alive just took a break when the you know what was hitting the fan the other day I've been going thru enough and didn't want to get involved or anything. see certain person has left for a few days anyway . (no not jimbo) the one that started it all the other day.
Anyway I've decieded its not working here in TN so I guess I'll try VA again but this time I'm selling everything except the wife (hmmm no I'd get in trouble listing her on ebay )
Anybody want some cheap transformers contact me and you can have them for shipping cost. great for lights or accesories I would think.
CSXect wrote:Buckeye just what is OTTS?
OTTS is Ohio Toy Train Summit, which is a group of guys and gals who love O gauge trains. We meet at each others layouts, go to train shows as a group, do railfaning together, etc and other fun stuff.
We do this beacuse we OTTS to go to train shows, we OTTS to see each others layouts, etc.
The fisrt OTTS meeting was held at my layout!
I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com
GOOD EVEVINg All and Welcome
Watch out for Chewy she likes everything and throws a mean curse. I ate Ice cream out of her bowl and for three full moons my wife locked me in the back yard.(I wasn't paper trained)
We have rain and wind tonite about 37 deg. No trains today and didn't leave the house just played golf.Win some lose some,,,,,,,GOOD NITE Chewy,,,Sir James
Thanks for the welcome....I think.
My cup is generally rinsed fairly well - at least it doesn't have any paint solvent or track cleaner stuff in it (I hope).
I live near the northern left coast, about 100 miles north of Sacramento, and a similar distance from the Oregon border. SP ran through my town forever, until everything turned yellow. I guess that's progress. The trains still go through, but they all look and sound the same, with that annoying UP whistle. SP was so much more melodious.
I'll be back soon. It's great to find such a fun group.

Bringing your own cup is HIGHLY recommended... we also recommend cleaning it before you pour another cup... Brutus's dog chewey likes to taste the leftover coffee... helps her to get the peanut butter off the roof of her mouth!
