Hey nice to see that a fair bit of the party did spill over into here great suff from lars Pete and the Good captain, loved em all. Tom you call me sick a catalitic converter indeed wholoe new meaning to "tail pipe" That Albino CP unit was an ex KCS unit hastliy repainted and put to work along with several UP ones that ran for a couple years in the full UP paint with big red CP Rail words on the side,heck they even had two ex Norflok Southern SD40-2's complete with the highhoods again all black with White CP Rail lettering.Herre's a shot for tonight.

A modern classic-an inter-city 125 blasts through Dawlish in South Devon with an up (i.e. towards London ) working.--This whole section runs along the sea edge (about 6 feet to the left of the camera ) & during the winter the waves will often break right over the tracks
A steam classic-Great Western `Castle` class Drwslyn Castle roars out of Fishguard Harbour with a charter special.
And for variety,the platform starter signals at Rosslare Europort ( Ireland) at twilight-a sentimental choice-as far as we can judge,this pic was snapped at about the time my first & only nephew drew his fist breath-this one`s for you Aitor
