It looks like the brass deflector for the whistle has been removed - sensibly. (Unless it has strayed).  Other than that give us a clue! .

Just wanted you to know that I am one of those "silent guys" who does appreciate what you put forth here and at your bar.

Well that was anoying.I had changed to teh unlimited acees pro plan for photobucket and it changed the coding on the photo's for posting purposes. I fixed this page as it seems the new coding effects all the stuff posted before the change.No way I'm going to go back and fix em all sorry at least I have it working again.Lets see one last one for herer then I think I too shall concentrate stricktly on da bar.

TOM-Apologies for temporarily hi-jacking the thread-As a great fan of Irish rail,James`s enquiry struck a chord and as we can`t seem to drag him across to the bar I thought I would hump my projecter and screen over here-it is after all a network of seductive images,strange operational practices and general weirdness  that one might travel far and not see twice   ROB-Hi-Youre pix are all showing some sort of P/Bucket fault-I think you need to stick another shilling in the meter there mate   JAMES Hi -Hope things are good...Now,Irish railways-fairly complex (but rewarding) area of study:-kick off by typing C.I.E into your browser and see where that takes you... James,Hi there -Hope the work situation resolves quickly -As an outside worker in the wettest summer since Noah put mallet to chisel I can fully sympathise.... The VIA pic is Sudbury,Ont-the main train is the eastbound Canadian To. portion whilst the Alco in the bay has a portion for either Montreal or Quebec-love all the fine detail in this one(which I aquired as part of a calender)-loads for the modeller Have looked for clues to the " C.P.R`ish feel" and have concluded its prolly the 300 or so C.P.R wagons in the yard that set the bells ringing Right,lets have something to look at.....Hmmmm When in doubt,look to the west... img{}/img  img{}/img Here`s a couple from the Cork City line-which connected the two principal temini in Cork and allowed through access to the Cork,Bandon & Southern Counties line Enjoy

Good evening folks.Glad everyone liked that unusual one.The GP15's were an interesting experament by EMD. They were a new locomotive aimed at the class ones for a way to have their old engine replaced by a similar low horse unit.Several of the big roads bought them but it was a short lived production run.Nice set of Heralds Tom Lets see mine for tonight.

Been real busy of late, but will be around much more after Friday owing to a bought, (sp) hopefully shorlived, of unemployment. Where was the Via picture of Nik's taken, looks rather CP ish.

 

Love GMD 1's, there was one assigned for six months or more back in the sixties to the daily Tillsonburg run over the Burford subdivision, and I have a B & W picture of it somewhere, my wife sorted the pictures and I am having trouble finding sone of my older ones, but have actually gotten some scanned so maybe soon I will post a few.
