oops the turned another page ! and with a great PA3 to boot I'm glad you liked the caboose Shane.It's amazing how many of those old wooden ones are still around alot of them are ice cream stands or attractions of some sort but hey they are still with us.I bet those kerosene lanterns cost the owner almost as much as the caboose did.
Finally ran out of cabooses so here's a shot of the CP's one of a kind RSD17 at the Elgin County Museum where she now lives in retirement.

A CN Point Ste Charles Caboose,one of a series of several hunderd that were rebuilt from old 40' boxcars by CN's Point Ste Charles shops.Only the underframe was reused at it was heavily modified. these were used system wide and some like this one are kept around on runs that by local bylaw still require a maned position for reverse movements.This is the local peddler that switches and handles transfer runs from CP at the Aldershot and Burlington yards

Good Morning; Pullman materials, Canadian items, and Golden State photos - nic selection! Rob - Most of the LV Baldwins were gone by 1972. The S12s (which I was talking about) were pretty much all gone by 1974; I will try and fine out more and post at the bar.
