Here's the lineup for our TUESDAY PIZZA FEST:

1.  anchovie
2.  Candadian bacon
3.  cheese
4.  Hawaiian
5.  pepperoni/sausage/mushroom
6.  supreme

And for dessert, we have fudge brownies, chocolate cake, and yellow cake with caramel icing.  Sorry about the brownies not having nuts in them, but since I can't have anything with nuts anymore, did not want to be tempted.

Yeah, humidity is creeping back up here today; and for the rest of the week, daily chance of thunderstorms.  Looks like we're back into normal July weather.

We had a "population explosion" at Tuesday Produce this morning:  78 people showed up.  And all they delivered today was:  Tropicana No Pulp Orange Juice, yellow  summer squash, tomatoes, and large bags of salad mix.

Willy, welcome back!!  You were truly missed, while you were away!!

Dan, don't have any tin boots, but might be able to find a pair or two of steel-toed shoes, if you think you really need them!!

Upon further review (and with a nagging suspicion that a shredding is coming) those weren't paw prints.  Now where are those tin boots?

You sure the weather machine got put back together the same way you took it apart to see how it worked?

Or did Ma Nature just check into the funny farm?

MC, I suspect that Willy and his parents are still off somewhere on vacation, and someone else is babysitting the weather machine...

Indeed we were. We were visiting Carl Shaver out in Chicago on a nice little 4 day vacation.

Mudchicken - Yes, things got a little crazy with the weather while we were gone. Your area wasn't the only place with storms moving from east to west. They were doing that in western Iowa and eastern Nebraska as well. Just goes to show how crazy the weather really is.

....Good Morning to early risers.....It was 64 degrees here before 7 am.  Looks like a partly cloudy or {sunny}, day.  Very dry.  Nice yard is having a hard time staying alive.  Watered some shrubs last evening to help them survive.

Weather people say we are deficient 6.5" of rain since May 1st.  It is really going to hurt the Indiana corn crop....Something this area is known for.

Should get to about 80 today.  Believe the humidity is to rise some too.  It's been very nice these last few days in that respect.

Trains are running in the distance now as it's quiet and I can hear them pass on the NS Frankfort line.  That line seems to be much more used at night and in the morning like this time and on into the morning.

So many grain cars coming in from the west now....That seems to be the major business on that line.  I really don't know which way they go once in downtown Muncie...Several choices, but I'd guess most of that traffic is headed south towards the "rathole div."....and points south...Just a guess.  I notice an increase in tank car numbers too incoming and going back west on that line.

Best wishes to all on their work day.

Wonder if the Chicken would want to come to Lincoln today?  Humidity is now officially 90% and no rain....  You don't walk, you slog.

Good Tuesday morning, all!  Hope everyone was able to get some good rest and sleep last night, and are ready for a brand new day.

Dan, thanks for the link!  Enjoyed perusing it.  Also, thanks for making the coffee, juice, and putting out doughnuts and fruit!  That's a good way to start a morning.  To go along with them, I've fixed some bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs; and they're on the warmer bar.

Sure do wish I could take my coffee and head out to the patio or garden; but, since this is PRODUCE TUESDAY for me, guess I'll have to save that for later.

You all let me know if you'd like to make this MEXICAN FIESTA DAY, or TUESDAY PIZZA FEST DAY. You all take care, and have a good morning!!

Link to aforementioned red arrows on ROW for EAA.  Lots of acronyms...could confuse me at this early hour!  Coffee, juice, fruit, and donuts are out.  That should do until someone much more talented than myself checks in this morning.  Later!

I've never been to an air show.  That is one of my dreams/wishes:  to go to an air show some day!

Dan, you did a good job, eating the leftovers!  Now, all that's left for supper is the Italian spaghetti, garlic bread/breadsticks, Texas toast, and the salads.  Hope that will suit everyone's taste buds!  Everything's set out, so help yourselves, and enjoy!!

Joe and Lance, have containers in the fridge, ready for you two to take to work tonight.

Been outside a little bit this afternoon, and you can tell our humidity is starting to creep back up!  Going to find some shade, and cool off!!  And maybe send Mudchicken some ice packs we've got in the freezer.  They should keep him cool for about 5, 6 hours:  maybe eight, if he's really lucky!!

Cool- every B-2 has a UHF data radio mounted in a rack behind the co-pilot that I helped design and maintain the software for.  Back around 1990, I got to make a trip down to Edwards AFB for some testing, and got to climb up into the cockpit of one of the test planes briefly.  One of the highlights of my life.  I've also toured the assembly buildings near Palmdale on another trip.

I just found out that we'll be getting some neat fly-bys this year.  B-1, B-2, F-117, U-2, and the F-22 will be here along with 2 F-15's, 2 F-16's, and 2 F-18's.  At least that's whats supposed to be here.  That changes sometimes.  I know that Friday thru Sunday I won't be in here much!  I'll be getting sunburned and taking pictures!

Well the 'good stuff' (Blue Angels/T-birds) can't perform cuz they're "too noisy" Banged Head [banghead] but they usually have some military stuff at least on static display.  In years past they've had the SR-71, F-14/15/16/18, C-130/141/5/17, plus choppers and the WW2 Warbirds.  A crowd favorite is always the AV-8B Harrier II.  One loud SOB.  This year they're supposed to have the F-22 'Raptor' flying aerial demonstrations 7/26-7/29.  I may have to go and watch that one!  It'd be neater to see the F-35 but that's a ways off from what I hear.  If anyone wants pics of the airshow or video I'll see what I can do.  Best way to let me know what you may want is via email.

I discovered that the WSOR helps EAA out by allowing large plastic red arrows to be placed on the ROW in the direction of the grounds.  The arrows have gaps for the rails and are secured to the ballast.  It's pretty neat.

I'd set up a lawn chair in a yard with a good view with the scanner set to the ATC channel and watch the parade.  What's the feature attraction this year?  Blue Angels?  Thunderbirds?

Jay that would be an interesting premise: The Cool Pill.  Sadly I'd never qualify for one of those as I've told too many groaners and Chuck Norris jokes.

CW the spread as usual is great!  I'll grab some leftovers to do my part to get rid of 'em.  Warmer this week but that's the norm: EAA is in town.  Now it's lots of 'airplane noise'.  I'll have to go find a quiet yard to hear some friendly sounds...

Jay - is that anything like a "chill" pill.....?

Tree - I have a whole drawer full of my favorites.  Wearing out the media player on my puter!

Just got the 2 CDs on The Eagles - I just figured out that I like just about all their songs!  (Day late, dollar short....)

And no one picked up that I spent the weekend with 'Arry Potter?  Doesn't anyone else read the series or am I the only one?

Talked to Willy and BC at Rochelle.  Willy is taller than BC now.  Willy is getting to look like Uncle Tree!

Sir Chicken - I recommend taking up mushing with De Boyz - at least you wouldn't have to worry about bugs, heat, humidity.....

So many of our grads leave the state and go all over the country.  Then they figure out they miss the heat, humidity, bugs, drought, etc and they come back eventually.  We do live longer here in the SE corner....makes us tough!

Busy days.  House full of guests with overflows in the "annex".  http://www.allynmansion.com/  Birthday party Saturday for 2 year old Mia and Sunday for Aunt Grayce.

Great weather for visitors, temps in the 70's and low humidity.  Need it but no serious threat of rain in sight.

NPR Saturday Edition did a feature on how GI in full battle rattle deal with the 120-30 temperatures in Iraq.  Fact:  Drinks tons of water and head for AC facilities when the day is done.  Get used to it and enjoy the "cool" 90 degrees at night.  Fiction:  Take a cool pill.  An urban myth has circulated among Iraqis that GI are issued cool pills.  A local being treated by a GI doctor actually asked for one of the pills.

If there is any truth to the myth, we should secure a supply for the Mud Chicken.
