I have always had a problem inverting numbers or letters. I can read it with no polrem. [:D] Had to eat crow just yesterday about zardoz1's name, but you already know that. I didn't invert anything just saw it wrong and typed it wrong. Funny thing is that is how I was seeing it all along not just once or twice.

Oh Joe. NO FUN [:0] It would cost someone BIG BUCKS to even think about me doing that now. It would have to be Publisher Clearning House type money if you know what I mean. [:p]

They quit making the pez gun, because, well, you already know.
No Batman, Superman or the Flash.
Just a really bad Donald Duck, and a bunch of fluffy animals.

Liked the movie, though it followed Stephen King's story "The Body" quite well.
And Keifer Sutherland made the perfect Ace Merrill.
Just chicken enough to be a good bully.
Have wondered if King was writting about something that really happened to him?
Only part of the show I though was overdone was when the kids are running ahead of the train on the trestle.
Like you could run on a trestle!.
Its hard enough just trying to walk on one, much less run.

I know what you mean about the trestle. I did the trestle walk as a teen. You know how teens are, alot of energy and not much fear. The trestles and cattle guards must be based on the same principle except the cattle are smart enough not to cross them. This exteen wasn't. I did it during daylight hours. Thank God no train. There was one or two spots built in for put-put cars and/or people and I really kept an eye on them so I would know which direction to run if I had to. You know when you are high up the worst thing you can do is look down but when crossing a trestle you have to. This one didn't have any side rails to hold onto. It was flat as a pancake. And as I walked I had to look down to get step spacing right, and with no ballast bewteen the ties oh boooooooyyyyyy. You talk about getting dizzy. SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE WALK ACROSS A TRESTLE.

Hey Ed, I was in a store tonight and saw something that reminded me of a food group we have totally forgotten. Remember the movie "Stand By Me" with the kids going down the tracks looking for another kid who was hit by a train? While on the way they had a discussion about . . . P E Z . I saw some of these in the store tonight and it reminded me of this thread and the movie.

I like the yellow,
the white works good baked into casaroles, but the flavor by itself aint all that great.
Have a in law that takes the yellow, drains it, then lightly fries or brazes it in olive oil.
Goes great with red meat!

By the way, didnt ole Eule croak after eating a pine cone that had been sprayed with a pesticide?
