A breezy morning...but with sunshine.  Waves of rain passed thru Indiana overnight..

My rain gauge indicated we received 1.5" of it.

It's moved on east.  56 degrees currently, and to be a bit better later.

A partly sunny day but cool....and more rain expected.

But better stuff is coming starting about Sunday, and I hope to take advantage of it and head out east....a bit further {east}, than the original home site.

Been home for a week straight now, so the other day went up to Harrisburg and picked up some of my ole belongings from ma's house.  Headed over to Home Depot and loaded up some wood after clearin' out 3 trucks worth of BS from the basement.  Kegerator chillin, neon signs plugged in, and man cave comin' together.

'Bout 10 years ago since these wheels turned.

.....Adrian, you seem to have your new table loaded rather well with some nice {027...?}, equipment....Won't you have to remove it all as I'd expect you will really build a "real world" scene to support all the train action.....

The MTH track is O31, but the center Lionel stuff is 27 that I have spaced each curve with a straight.

Ummm, wasn't plannin' on scenery.  Maybe someday on the tenth of never paint the plywood gray for a "yard" operation.  Soon as I pick up more plywood, (shoot that stuff is expensive nowdays!) I'll do two more sections elevated to stretch things out with a grade.

Yowzers. It seems that our THUNDERCHICKENS are being thoroughly degaussed in Fla today. Looks like a little refeathering is in order!

.....A sunshine morning in our neck of the woods....we'll, some woods.

Hope this weather holds now for most of the coming week as we're on the threshold to head on out east...a bit further this time.

Must get ready for church here in a few....and then catch Sunday meal someplace with niece and nephew up here from Florida....then final prep for early morning departure.

Everyone have a good week....

Good Sunday morning all.  Sun is shining brightly here in Shepherdsville (Sheeptown), KY.  Slept pretty well last night (have slept well all week, not waking up through the night at all).

Quentin, have a safe trip and enjoy every minute.

Joe and BC, thank you for taking care of things in here for me!  Will definitely be back in Thursday morning.

Everyone take care and see you when I can.

If your chemotherapy was anything like mine, it's no wonder that you are tired. The last month or so of mine, I barely made it to work , and could hardly lift anything at all. I trust that your appointment tomorrow will go as well as mine have for the last six years--the only concern my oncologist has now is over my hemoglobin level, which also concerned the many doctors I had July-September. I hope when I go back to see her in February she will be satsified.

I learned yesterday that the cousin of a friend of mine has had cancer, and the doctors have not found the right chemotherapy for her. May they find it before it is too late for her.

I did not look at the thermometer this afternoon, but it is cooler than it was when I came home from church; we are expecting rain this week.

Well - the weatherguessers certainly got it wrong at the "Punkin Patch" this weekend.  Saturday was supposed to have scattered showers but I don't think it rained at all, not to mention it was sunny for much of the day.

Sunday was supposed to be mild - partly cloudy - and I was very grateful for the enclosed canopy (with a heater) at the site, as it was cool and rained off and on all day.

At least the kids had dry interludes for their visits to the patch.

Friday night, though, we got a couple of rockin' thunderbumpers.

Afternoon all, server was down last night, so couldn't get back in.  Guess by this time tomorrow, I'll be back in Louisville.  We have plenty of sunshine, and temp's in the low 80s.  Very nice Indian Summer weather.  Everyone have a good evening, enjoy your tacos and see you all tomorrow.

Long day today - our new brush truck was delivered and thoroughly put through it's paces.  A few minor issues notwithstanding (and those will be resolved) it's a wonderful piece of apparatus.

And I'm pooped.

Did I mention I also got my flu shot tonight?

And there's a list of things to do tomorrow...
