I am on my way out the door for the weekend. Gonna put on my overalls whilest I sit in Millie - maybe I can come up with a couple more questions to liven the forum. The overalls may help me think better.

Thanks for setting that up, Joe, us second shifters have a hard time waking up that early in the morning. Just checked everything else, rest of the tanks are full, and got a few more pallets of the mix on order, should be here sometime today. Was beautiful out yesterday and today, drove to work with the windows down, felt good. Forecast today is for a high of about 86, with low humidity, normal high for us is 82.
Was a slow night at work last night, I was finished with tires by about 8pm, spent the rest of the night putting the brake chambers and all related hoses and wiring on FedEx suspensions. It's kind of weird that ever since we started this LEAN manufacturing deal at work, which is supposed to increase output, our production numbers have gone down.
Be in later for the fish fry.

Tacos, burritos, refried beans, salsa/chips, and nachos coming up! Choices are ground beef, shredded beef, shredded chicken, or veggie (read: bean). How about some margaritas and Corona's for those of age? Show me your ID! (I'm also a/the bouncer!)

We got just over a half inch locally since Midnight (the rain I wrote about before work slowed down and drenched RCOs for half the day). Gorgeous this evening. Have to stay up past bedtime and help get baby girl from Midway.
Speaking of which, baby girl's hubby is a native San Diegan; knows Mexican food (and likes things hot!). Still appreciates Chipotle.

MC,
Got the Scotty Pontoons out yet? It's pouring Mooks and Mutts up here, and I've heard from our crews that it's been worse down south all day.
Our guys in Greeley and Ft. Collins got soaked and are heading home. The folks doing Cabellas out by the Coors Brewery fled after the flash flood warning. Very black to the north of us, and as I get up to peer out the 8th floor windows, the heavy stuff has gotten downtown, but not the tech center. Will have the scottie mount-up on the pontoons as a precaution and throw a vest on the Westie. Time for a larger doggie door or an ark??

There are exceptions - ate at a place called "Mi Pueblo" in North Carolina. Waitstaff almost spoke English, and a denizen of the Southwest who was with us said it was pretty good, comparatively speaking. Wasn't as good as the local barbeque, though...

Morning All,
Not much to report. Had 80's and a lot of rain again last night. Beautiful Sunset on the backside of the T-storm, too. Unfortunately, couldn't find anything worthy to put in the foreground before the light was gone. Oh well...if we get another round tonight, I'll be a little more vigilant.
Glad to see that the front that dropped our temps is starting to do the same for some of the rest of you.
Well, I must be on my way. I hope you all have a great day. TTFN!

Can't sleep in the truck. I'd only get trampled by my furry co-driver (Gus). He sleeps when the truck is going over 35 MPH..... Below 35 and he is headed to the window to see what's going on outside (determined by the sniffer on the end of that long black nose).
mooks: In regards to flying low and racking-up all those frequent driver miles, I'm still trying to head east. I find out this morning if I go or wait another week. Sunday I get on the big people hauling bird and head to Nora's backyard. (After what Joe found wandering around lost in his backyard, I think the Nebraska Border Patrol - Yellow Peril Division will be out looking for me. The guy in charge of that thing will also be in Nora country.)
