Thank you all,

Yes, chocolate cake is an important food group when it isn't a birthday. Naturally chocolate cake and ice cream has to be for a birthday.

YEAH SUGAR!!!!

Don't know what I will be getting for my birthday though but I know it will be great.

YEAH STRIPPERS!!!

Just kidding.....[(-D][(-D][angel]

Howdy folks. Just had to stop in quick and say Hi, and

[bday][bday]
To Andrew

Schools started back up late last week, and I've had a good amount of homework a night. I get to stop in and read once and a while, but not a whole lot of time to post anymore. Think I'll have supper here to night though. How about a nice big bowl of beef vegetable soup, infact make that in a bread bowl. And a piece of pie and a nice tall glass of milk.

See ya'll[C):-)] around,
Noah[:P][;)]

Wet? I guess so. Got the 5" of water out of the basement, and the roof didn't leak too bad. We got a smidgen over 4" of rain in 24 hours, which isn't much when you compare it to the foot some folks got last week, but all the creeks are pretty full, and my firefighters spent all day pumping basements. One department had to call in help!

Pizza for supper. On the hood of the hose wagon...

Well the lights are on and no customers here. [:(]

How do you expect me to make any money this way?

Man does not live by bread alone, so eat some pie, and cake, and ice cream, and Southern Fried Chicken, and biscuits and sausage gravy (did I ever tell yall how much I like biscuits and sausage gravy? lol), and mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, and this and that and some more of that and an extra helping of this. [;)] [}:)] [:p] [8D] [:D]

Got to go, Duchess is telling me it is time to go for a walk (AGAIN). [:(!]

Take care. [8D]

I don't feel older so that's a good sign, but I would feel better if the damn rain and wind would go away.

See Jim was here - he left the lights on anyway!

It's Friday. Ok - It's Friday for a good portion of the working world.

Kinda of a somber weekend coming. Plus a new hurricane.

BUT! We are having pancakes and eggs this morning. People in Vermont sent some syrup, and Mudchicken sent relatives.

Well, here in Louisville, it's a beautiful sun shiny day!! I'll have biscuits and gravy,
please. Then I think I'll make some lemon bars for everyone's dessert. Brownies
are all gone!! Still haven't made it to the store for the chicken and cream of
chicken soup to make chicken and dumplings. [angel]

Hey Mudchicken,

Even here in Louisville we have our own,Bloemer's Chili, and we import Skyline from
Cincinnattti. But I STILL consider MY 5 alarm chili better. Of course I'm prejudiced.

BTW, CW said "chicken and dumplings", NOT "mudchicken" and dumplings[:D][}:)]

UGH!

Hey, at least the chili cookoff is to support the Cincinnati Fire Museum ( http://www.cincinet.com/firemuseum/history.htm)...something near and dear to you (when you aren't pumping out soggy basements!)....

As for being hot, it really isn't. (there is a Tex-Mex version, but I don't think Harmon & UniHead would approve......just like Mexican food getting strange in the northeastern US) Not all of us have cast iron stomachs. Different, it certainly is.

Sorry, I will pass on the cold pizza and beer, but bring me lots of coffee, make that lots of strong coffee. You all remember the song, "Waking Up Is Hard To Do"? Oh, I didn't think so. Guess that was, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do.

Andrew, I'll take some WARM pizza and COLD beer. When I drink beer (which isn't
very often), I want it ice cold. And my pizza has to be warmed in the microwave.

And Jim, I also grew up on a farm. Thought I'd be a little bit funny suggesting
fixing and serving mountain oysters.[angel]

Tonight's menu is whatever you want, if we have it, you'll get it.

Tomorrow will be porkchop abracadabra with stew veggies in it, with 2 cans of
cream of chicken soup. (recipe for the porkchops came from my Crockpot recipe
book.

Hey Jim, how would you like to make up some biscuits while I get gravy and sausage
going for breakfast? Sounds real good to me: biscuits w/gravy, sausage, and we'll
save some biscuits to have with jelly/jam/preserves . That should hold us all over
until the pork chop abracadabra is ready. [angel]

Maybe we should prepare a Jergen's or Dove pie for the potty-mouths in the forum. Me I would love a coffee and hope that Mr.Bergstrom fixes the problem before my younger cousin reads the forum on monday.
