Well, supper tonight was leftover spaghetti and garlic toast. Never did get around
to baking any oatmeal cookies. Maybe if I wake up again in the morning at 2 a.m.,
otherwise, it was just too hot here today to have the oven on more than five minutes
to do the garlic toast.

Mookie dear, what would you like for me to fix you today? How about starting with a
nice cup of hot coffee with a little cream in it for you?

As soon as I can get to the grocery, think I'll get some chicken and cream of chicken
soup to make up some chicken and dumplings. Sounds good to me. What else
sounds good to everyone?

Unfortunately, there's been enough of that going around this season.
The doctors, and O.T.C. stocks went up a bunch. Right now in our
area,it's mold and pollen. AND I feel for other people that have that
problem. Whoop's where's my kleenex,it was here a moment ago,

Locomutt, it was a great show, the full line up for sunday was:

Clarence Carter

Solomon Burke

Little Milton with Dave Alvin

Leon Russell

Buddy Guy

Carter was first up and was outstanding, I really felt sorry for the people who miss the first acts, Burke brought a gospelly blues to the show, Russel didnt seam to glad to be in the heat and did a lot of Rolling Stones cover songs, but the best part was Buddy Guy, he was last up and didnt get to start until the show was almost over, but they let him play for about 30 minutes past the end of the show, and he was kicking it good! Playing down in the crowd and just enjoying himself.

Was even able to get a great FIsh Fry there, catfish, shrimp, oysters and hushpuppies MMmmmMMMm [8D]

   Have fun with your trains

Door bursts open:

WOW - I don't know what WC put in that coffee, but I was wired all afternoon!

Had about 3 hours of sleep because of dry cough - but feeling much better. When I wasn't coughing, was smiling thinking how I was going to tell the diner that you can go to the east for hurricanes, go to the west for earthquakes, south for rain and horrid humidity, north for Trains and Nebraska to get pollinated!

I know - I shouldn't have wasted valuable sleep time like that!

Next time there is a holiday - and the driver suggests a ride in the country with the windows down, there had better be a darn snowstorm!

Moo!

Mookie, the coffee was Kroger's Breakfast Blend. Only thing added was a little bit
of cream for you. I SWEAR on the HOLY BIBLE that that's all that was in the coffee!!

Had a meeting last night, and busy putting buckets under the remnants of the hurricane before I came to work this morning. Gotta get ahold of that roofing contractor...

Will grab a brownie on the way out, along with some milk...

For Breakfast, let's just have toast and oatmeal, or regular cereal, if you prefer, with
OJ and fresh fruit.

Dinner and supper will be homemade beef vegetable soup. Jim and Larry didn't
take all the brownies, so there's plenty left for everyone!!

Leaky roof the result of deferred maintenance - finding cash and an available roofer at the same time.... Fair amount of rain, though. My weather station was showing nearly 2 inches in past 24 hours (I know, nothing like the foot some folks got, but it's still a fair amount of water) when I left for work, and hourly rates had been running at around 4/10".

It's my birthday today and I turned 25. The big 2-5......just kidding, that not old.[:D]

I don't feel older so that's a good sign, but I would feel better if the damn rain and wind would go away.

Andrew, [bday] [bday] [bday] [bday]

Now how YOUNG are you? You are probably around 20 to 23, I'll guess. You won't
feel older for about 20 - 25 more years. Then each year on your birthday, you WILL
feel older, if you're suffering from arthritis, or rheumetism.[angel]
