He's making spaghetti casserole.

Jim, he said to ask if carryouts costs extra; and he doesn't have the chopper available
to him to bring it to you.[:D]

Rixflix,

PoBoy sandwich sounds good; but we don't serve alcohol at the diner, so you'll
have to leave off the Bloody Mary. And for my part, you can leave off the tobasco
sauce[:0]

Had an exciting find today when I went to the WSOR yard. They brought up the weed spaying outfit, a tank car and a special spraying car, along wiht there only switcher left, an SW1200. I've never seen any of this stuff before, so it was really exciting. I'l post pics in a couple of days.

Good morning, everyone!! Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day today.

The coffee is on (both decaf & regular) water on for hot tea, and the various soft drinks.
How about starting the day with some pancakes and sausage? There's also bacon,
eggs (hot sauce on the tables for those who like it on the eggs), grits for those who
like them (yuck), oatmeal, toast, cold cereal, etc.

Jim, how'd it go at work last night? Hope you had an "easy" night with not too many
problems.

And all of our "old timers", how about some good ole stories?[8D]

Jim your list is good, but you forgot one thing. Add "1991 Forum member Noah Hofrichter is born at 3:25 in the morning."

Yes sir, the day was good. Went to local cafe for lunch, got a little 2 inch by 3 inch cake free because it was my Birthday so that was neat. And I had a visit from the money fairy. This morning we found so far $18.00 in change out on our front lawn. We found $13.00 by eye, and then I took a cheap $10.00 metal detector and found another $5.00 worth from the metal detector. I'm going to go comb the lawn some more tomarrow see if I can't find some more. It's all mine too, as I did all the work. Although if we see something in the paper as somebody being robbed of a change jar or something, we'll tun it in. Sure is strange. And At the train ride I got to ride in the Locomotive, even though we didn't pay the extra for it. We rode down the line in the coach like normal, but at the end the conductor said we could go ride in the cab back to the station if we wanted to. Couldn't turn them down. I wonder if it didn't have to do wiht the fact we said we knew the conductor from the WSOR, the one that gives us all the rides, as he works as a voluteer engineer once in a while at the Railway. It was neat. I'm rounding up my Day by surfing around here, yes it's all good.

The very happy birthday boy, Noah

I am not a big movie buff - but this was well worth my time. One of the funnier ones I have seen. And "The Gods Must Be Angry" was good too.

Oh My Lands. [;)]

The 30th Anniversary Special Edition of Blazing Saddles is out. [^] I remember seeing this film at a drive in movie. [^] Now the land that was a drive in is a housing subdivision. [:(]

Here is a small review of the movie.

Mel Brooks scored his first commercial hit with this raucous Western spoof starring the late Cleavon Little as the newly hired (and conspicuously black) sheriff of Rock Ridge. Sheriff Bart teams up with deputy Jim (Gene Wilder) to foil the railroad-building scheme of the nefarious Hedley Lamarr.

To me this movie was the start of some very funny movies from Mel Brooks and others.
