Joplin eh? Sure. I rather like him on the harpsichord too. I heard a recording of Joplin on a pedal harpsichord played by E Power Biggs and was actually really good.

I finnished tuning the piano. The keys were sticking so I fixed that too. I took a vacume and sucked the dust that seemed to want to live there. Tomarrow, I'm striping the surface so I can refinni***he wood and recoat it so it will look brand new. I am also going to do a test to check for cracks in the sound case.

Guess I'm the resident piano maintainer. I work for free; just require plenty of coffee.

Good Sunday Morning, everyone!! Breakfast bar this morning, so people can
get to Sunday School and/or Church. I've made biscuits and gravy, bacon,
sausage, fried potatoes, toast and oatmeal and put out on the Breakfast Bar
this morning. For Sunday dinner, not sure yet what I'll fix. Unless someone
else would like to fix Sunday Dinner?

Does anyone here like Speidie with their chicken? Ya have to poke the chicken about a gazillion times for it to soak in, but that vinegar with seasonings is slammin! Two days later, ready for a slow grill. Baked potatoes w/ butter, sour cream, fried onions, and bacon bits on the side.

Speidies? To die for - done correctly the chicken (or pork) is cubed and marinated (the longer the better) in speidie sauce (State Fair Speidie Sauce available at my local grocery store), then barbequed on a skewer and served on a roll. We usually cook it up on a griddle and spoon the chunks on a roll, but they are still DELICIOUS!

The Hancock Fire Department usually goes through around 100 lbs of speidies at their field days....

Oh my! That should feed the whole diner! Or most of Northern New York!

Over 250 halves in view. About half of this particular barbeque, and a third of what we do in the spring.

Due to the way we season it, this chicken is delicious warmed up. Take home some extra halves and put them in the freezer! We all do!

Those 250 halves of chicken look great, Larry. Now for question: are you
in that picture[?]

Nope

We had something new tonight for supper. Think it's new from Betty Crocker:
at least I've never seen it before the other day when I went to Kroger. It's
called Beef and Garlic Potatoes. It is really good. Took one of our turkey
breasts out and put in the fridge to start thawing for Thanksgiving. Think
I will try to do all my cooking Wednesday, so I can RELAX Thursday.

While I'm thinking about it:

EVERYBODY HAVE A SAFE, AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Joe, where's UK (basketball) fans sit? Don't care for football. Only went to one
football game in high school. Didn't like football then, and still don't. Give me
basketball and baseball games, and I'm fine.

Are we have bacon and or sausage with the pancakes? Maybe I'll take three
slices of bacon and two sausage patties with my order of pancakes.

What do you all want for supper today? How about some BLTs on whole
wheat, and some cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert?
