Ah - nice morning - everyone around us is having bad weather, but we are just clear and cold. And dark.

Now, before I leave today, I may have to do a re-creation of the Pacers game! Especially the boxing match! Some of our diners need to paws and reflect on their taste or lack of, in food! Tabbie Patties, indeed! Been watching too many of those reality shows - eating bugs and worms - ugh!

Tom, was going to send out an SOS for you to see if you landed! Wasn't that just the most fun? Moving is right at the top of my list of most hated items to do. Right above cleaning said moved items!

Well, now that the family is all back together - I can go watch trains for 4 days!

Happy Thanksgiving and make sure you wash your face and paws!

Any good ideas for leftover turkey? I'm sure there will be some around after Thursday!

Larry, you're excused for helping with supper during the week. Know you are
real busy at the firehouse, etc. As for leftover turkey ideas, there's turkey hash,
turkey casserole, turkey sandwiches, AND turkey and dumplings (just use the
leftover turkey instead of chicken.

Breakfast this morning will be:

bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuits, toast, oatmeal, or cold cereal.

Boy, the pork chop abracadabra was really good tonight. Did you
all like it as well? Even have enough for tomorrow night. Locomutt
and I didn't have dessert, but you all will find some dessert in the
cooler on the counter.

psst Mookie: I put some dessert away for you. Give me a holler in
the morning (better email me so I can tell you), and I'll let you know where I put it.

HEY, who turned off the layouts? Every single one is turned off. Or did a circuit
blow on the layouts?

I'll have a hot chocolate please.

Has anybody heard that Canada is considering trade sanctions against the U.S for failing to get rid of the Bryd Amendment? Something to do with anti-dumping law.

[:)]Thank you, Mookie dear!! You are so nice. I'll eat JUST a little bite for now,
and will hide the rest of it where no one else can find it. Have a good evening,
and I'll freeze you a dish of the porkchops, potatoes, etc. so you can have it

Gee, was kind of hoping someone else around here (and not Mookie,
either) would fix lunch for us. Guess not, so I'll do an early supper.

Thin boneless breakfast pork chops with potatoes, onions and
cream of chicken soup poured over it. (As a matter of fact, it's in the
crockpot now. Will be ready to eat around 5:30, 6:00 est.

Gee, can't any of you guys do something around here for Mookie and
me besides eat, play music, and say, "I'm hungry: what's to eat?"
I do know Joe and Larry will help out, but what about you other guys?

Andrew, NO eating cats!! Sorry about sleeping in this morning.

Breakfast will be all the usual in a diner: bacon, sausage, scrambled
eggs, biscuits and gravy (yes, Jim, there's bits of sausage in the
gravy), fried potatoes, and Cheerios and Alpha Bits for Matt and
anyone else who wants cereal.

More soup for supper: vegetable and bean with ham. Tomorrow, we'll
have lean breakfast pork chops with vegies. Beginning to feel slightly
better, so not wanting to rock the boat, or rather, not to derail the train.[:)]

Had Mr & Mrs Mudchicken at a chicken dinner last nite.

Still doesn't sound right - but.........

Mudchicken has gone to ground for the duration of the Thanksgiving Season. He figured he was "fair game" out there, so will come back out when the last of the festivities are over. The Driver and I got to meet Mrs. MC - she has lovely, long, red talons and Mookie, having intelligence a little over a rock, kept her paws in her pockets and made no fast moves toward MC!

El Gato subdued again!

<~>

Glad you enjoyed all,but Not even a Keepsake Feather[?][:D][}:)]

.....and a fine time was had by all....possibly because the feathered ones had two attack furballs with teeth (& whiskey add) that were nearby, ready to lick mookie & driver to distraction if the opportunity presented itself.[swg][swg][swg]
