Walt: load apparently was 3 days date getting here, mostly because of some clearance issues on the former BN in south Texas. (things like bridges and switch stands that had changed since the last clearance car runs that Sperry did with their photogrametric measuring frame.

Maybe I'll just fix up a portable kitchen, and move outside to do all the
cooking for the summer. Can't stand listening to CNN all day, all night.
Gives me a headache!!!!! Hey, gang, here's an idea for you: increase the
sound volumes on your train layouts in the Coffee Shop section.

Breakfast this morning will be all the usual breakfast menu items for
you to make your selections. Have sausage and biscuits & gravy,
just for Jim, and some of you other patrons who like it myself included).

Lunch will be anything I can fix out on the grill.

Jay,
Hope you got a chance to see the video from the link
that was posted. Quite nice.

Mudchicken, did that 'load' arrive on time,on the schedule
that was set ?
Not sure about a 'gag order',but duct tape around the wrists
might work also. Or handcuffed to something besides a keyboard.

Man, I have got to get it together after doing all the tax stuff. I saw MC's post about a schnabel car w/load arriving in Denver and realizing that must have something to do with the "Big Load" thread, I thought I'd take a look. What I missed.

Thanks a mill cherokee woman for comeing up with that beyond cool or should I say hot pork roast. I have to tell you the corn and carrots were my favorit part. Oh and of course I had the train music going, along with my layout. Today was a good day for my railroad (the layout) I didn't have any incidents and traffic moved like clock work. So nome of my trains were late. I think the dinner helped a lot.

Well it was a really good day today. Nice and hot ouside, here in southeastern PA. Oh and my company team won it's first softball game of the season so far!

Walt: Was trying to find a newsie for UniHead on the schnabel car that finally got here from Houston. Could not find one web-linked article linked to it even though it was all over the news on TV here Saturday and the fact that Discovery Channel was apparently taping the whole adventure.(Couldn't find anything about a gag order on a starchaser either! [V]), but that dumb Colorado chicken thing kept popping up/ slow news day?....Maybe Tree could post the Horror Movie cartoon that wandered through here Friday that fits this thread...

Joe, tell Matt I just finished with the Sunday comics, and I'm passing them
on over to him. Thank you for getting the coffee ready, and setting out the
juice. Speaking of juice, has anyone seen NJ Mike lately? Haven't seen
or heard much from him.

Sarah, the pork roast w/potatoes, carrots and onions is on heat, simmering,
along with the corn on the cob. Also have some more orange sherbet for
dessert. Everyone enjoy your day. Have the CD loaded with the railroad
songs, and the tape player is loaded with tapes of train sounds!! Also,
have the train layouts turned on. So, along with the trains passing by the
Diner/Coffee Shop, we'll have PLENTY of train sounds here today.
Believe someone put a couple of speakers up on the outside of the Diner
so we can hear the music, interspersed with the live trains!!

Sarah, we have a way of grilling the corn in its husks that you're going to love!

Speaking of loving, I'll have one of those shakes for dessert, Tom, as long as it includes real strawberries, not that imitation powder.

Yes the pork chops were awsome, good eats. I can't wait for Sunday dinner tomorrow. I'm looking forward to some pork roast w/ tateres (potatos), kern (corn), and carrots. Two of my favorit foods right there carrots and corn. I live for corn on the cob and trains.LOL
