More Tennis today. First round of the state high school tournement. Matt won both his matches at #3 singles, so he gets to go over to Janesville on Thursday for at least one more match. Only the #1, #2 singles and #1 doubles get to go to state for "individual" competition. A team accumulating enough points can advance, but I don't think our team made it past today.

So Matt has a paper due tomorrow-supposed to have been done over the weekend-so I will take an order of the special to go.

Afternoon all, just woke up.

Mookie, the " fall apart" stage of life sucks. I used to always be at Mach 5 and woke up and hit the ground running, but then "50" hit me and now it takes a half a pot of coffee just to kick start me.

CW, 2 fried to go. Sounds good. Off to grandaughters ball game.
Be back later with bleacher butt. [V] Willy

Mookie, give Driver a big "Get Well Soon" wish from us all here in the Diner.

How about a couple of country fried steak boxes to go for supper tonight?

Morning all, Been a tough last week, haven't had a chance to stop in for a bite or drink. Number One stepdaughter decided on Monday to rupture her appendix, so spent most of week working 3rd, sleeping, and taking care of grandaughter. Got her home on friday then had to homecare her, she's not a pretty patient. Now this Friday I have to go to get a "foreign body" removed from left knee. Some cartilage broke loose. I hate getting old!!!! Doc says 7-10 days off. I'm thinking I can crawl up the stairs and get in some serious train time! [:D] Mama's worried about me being here all day by myself, and not being able to get around. Silly girl!

CW, biscuits and gravy. YUMMM!!!!! with an OJ, just got off work and don't need any caffiene. Am going to try to sleep.

Mook, how did Driver pull an ab muscle, or don't we want to know? Chasing trains?

Well, I hate to eat and run, but am getting sleepy. I think I'll just take a nap in this field of poppies. See ya at suppertime. Have a good day patrons [zzz]

Ow!

I can't imagine what one does for a torn muscle. Needle and catgut? (Sorry, Mookie!)

My best to the Driver--and a speedy recovery to you both!

May I fini***hat box of fruity cereal for breakfast, please?

Driver tore an abdominal muscle. Guess karate will be on hold for the time being. He was working on his 4th degree black belt and may just stay at 3.5.

And no, he isn't a good patient.....

Mookie, sorry to hear that Driver wasn't feeling well over the weekend. Hope
he's not picked up some kind of bug/virus that may be going around. Do you
need any more kibbles?

Ok, I'm not really doing anything now :( I'm borred as can be. I finished my English report and sent it to my editor. Thank God that's over. wheeeew that was a royal pain in my side. Other than that I'm currnetly listing to Wagner's Tannhauser overture (I wonder if I spelled that right??) preformed by the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Think we'll have an easy supper tonight. How does fried rice sound?
Your choice of chicken fried rice or special fried, with chicken, beef
and pork all together with the rice.

Good morning everyone! Hope all of you are doing great today.

Sunday brunch will be: pancakes with syrup, bacon, sausage,
scrambled eggs, and have some cinnamon rolls also. There's
juice, coffee, hot tea (or iced tea ) and the usual soft drinks on hand.

Ok I oviously wasn't awake today because, I wasn't able to stop in this morring. I woke up pretty late actually Carl woke me up when he called me. hehehe.

Nothing happend to me today really except. I caught a manifest train today. Actually I chased it all the way from Norristown to Wesh Conshohocken, PA. When I finally made it to the grade Xing to get the picture the train was only 1/4 mile from were I was standing. So I had to ru***o get my camera and the pen and paper. I was pleased with that train. It had three NS Dash-940CWs smoking it up and, I was able to retreive some interesting reporting marks and numbers.
On the Septa frequencys (on the scanner) I leard that kids were vandelizing railroad property on Septa's R8 Line. I hate that!!!!!!! I also heard Septa was having some issues on it's R6 Line (Norristown). Instead of sending a trainset into Philadelphia they had to send one car, since they were haveing equipment failiers with some of the Silverliner sets. The R heading towards Philadelphia was 2hrs late, with no explanations to the passangers. Septa's good like that. :) lol.

Update I'm not going to the softball game tomorrow :( I don't feel like it plus I have to get my essay done on a day out train chaseing.
