Help yourself Joe, I've got a project here at work designing an undergrounding conversion project and haven't been able to spend any time on the forum. Looks like this week will be the same.
I did see one of our resident trolls has acted up and is grounded. Don't know why Bergie keeps giveing him 2nd chances.
Anyway, you all have a great week.
....To be a nice day here in Muncie....so it's some outside work including mowing and a few other things.
Walt...on that trip across from Pennsylvania: The route we travel is so much better now than when I first started doing it....First trip across that disance was 49 years ago...
We had a test station in Jennerstown, Pa. and had to come out to the main plant {here}, several times a year to modify our test equipment, etc...and set up new tests to run in the mountains there...
Interstate 70 was no where to be found at that time of course and then over the years it was started and it took plenty of years for it to be continous for our trip.
Our move to this location {to live}, was 44 plus years ago but travel back and forth to the home land continued of course. Now parts of the interstate route have been redone and I commented to Jean just on this last trip how good the route across here is now...perhaps the best ever without a doubt....
But for Sarah traveling that distance in her vehicle that could get a bit old fast...and if there was any amout of wind blowing and with the 6" lift...Wow. I'm sure she did not travel all the way out on I-70 but, anyway...it is a long drive.
Must get busy here....eveyone have a good day..{and week}.
PS: Jen...79....Wow..! That sounds pretty good. We're to have 70 today.

Morning All,
Just got an e-mail update from www.drgw.ws that had an interesting little note in it. It would seem that one of the MRL F45's managed to wander into my neighborhood over the weekend. Alas! I didn't find out about it until this morning when I checked my e-mail. I gotta start getting out railfanning more often.
Meanwhile, all of our snow has disappeared...at least until tonight (or so the weatherman says). Guess there's supposed to be some tonight into tomorrow morning. Should be stopped for the kiddies to go Trick-or-Treating (but I'm guessing that they're all going to be dressed up as winter coats based on temperature predictions).
Meanwhile, I must be on my way. Hope you all have a great day!

That avatar reminds of the Old West: Iguess that's why I chose that particular avatar. And here's you a couple of blueberry muffins for your breakfast.

CW - I am exactly the same when it comes to pumpkin. I really don't like pumpkin pie or anything else with pumpkin in it, except for pumpkin cake.
Today was a very nice day. The high temperature was 75 degrees and tomorrow is looking pretty nice again.
Well, off to bed. I hope everyone has a good week!

will take some chicken and dumplings for work tonight. going to be a beautiful day tommorow.we'll take it when we can get it this time of year.I'm sure mookie will have a full report tommorow.
Now that I've finished my chicken and dumplings....
No snow here, but the occasional raindrop and a promise of lake effect to the south. Highest gust so far here at the house was just over 23 mph, but I'm in a valley. Mom's still visiting, so we took a ride out to where Lake Ontario empties into the St Lawrence River. Standing was difficult, to say the least. And the lake is really rocking and rolling. At least one ship dropped anchor in the river, rather than risk the lake in gale force winds. And that was a salty!

Looks like I'll get my wish for Halloween. It's supposed to be snowy in the morning and cool in the evening. Ahhhhh...that's more like it. Sarah, congrats on the move. I remember when I moved from Chicago to Denver. It was tough, but I'm glad that I did it. BTW, if you think your trip was tough, you should have tried duplicating my trip. I got caught in a blizzard in Nebraska, and was doing about 5 MPH behind a semi. After doing the math to figure out how long it would take to get to Denver, I decided to stop at a motel, and wait out the storm. Anyways, hope you all have a great day. Catch you later!

It's in the 30s here with high wind warnings gusting up to 60 mph today. Come visit. It's snowing, never gets to the ground before the wind blows it away, but it is cold and the wind will cut through you. Gettin' the carharts out for switchin' tomorrow...

Wow...{Sarah}, that distance with a short wheelbase and...raised 6"...That would be a bit tough for that distance. We travel across some of that distance. {I-70}, several times a year from here to Somerset...roughly 400 miles and I am pleased to be tooling a good handling and riding car. Must think of getting ready for church...everyone have a good day....
I wonder if there's any pizza left over from last night? For me to have left over pizza for breakfast is not too unusual.
My internal alarm clock would not let me sleep beyond 5:00 this morning, and it's cold here. At last report we had a temp of 26 degrees. It's supposed to warm up to about 68 or 69 degrees this afternoon. I guess I'd better enjoy the warm temperatures while I can.
Joe made the coffee and orange juice, and the pumkin bread sure smells good! Since Cherokee Woman is not here yet, I'll take charge of serving breakfast. Breakfast this morning will consist of; bacon, sausage, eggs any way you like them, ham and cheese omlets, buttermilk pancakes and french toast, and apple/ cinnamon coffee cake.
