Hi CW,
I think it's genetic, sorta like having green eyes, not a thing he can do about it....
He can wear sunglasses, but it dosn't change the color of his eyes!

Dan, on the other hand, is from Texas, so being banned from bars, homes, public places and most restaurants is a given.
I myself have been thrown out of some of the best dives on Highway 90, several times.

Man, it was raining good today. Lots of thunder and lightning. It was cool! I like the rain!

But, nothing compares to sitting here at the diner, surrounded by friends, AND TRAINS, with delicious food, AND TRAINS! Can I take a nap at a booth, please? I am kind of tired.

I will see what I can do about getting a couch for the corner. How about one of the round tables with a booth around it? I am sure that before long we could fill it up.

I can't even remember all the people who Mookie and I sent to the corner. I wonder if she can? Of course Keven and Dan were there, but I am not sure who else. That sort of thing happens when you are a day older than 29. [;)] Or is that 2 days older than 29? [;)]

Jim- What is a lurk? WHAT IS A LURK???? Why man, a LURK makes a SNIPE look like a PROWL!!! Few words convey the horror of a Sneaking Lurk (the proper scientific name) lurking sneakily upon you in the dead of night!
Tell you what, you come on in early with that dessert cooler key, and we will swap Tales of Lurk Terror over some of that fresh strawberry shortcake. I'll have the coffee ready when you get here.

Phil,
Is that a Double Banded Lurk, or a Single Striped Lurk?

Usually find the Double Banded Lurks hiding at Starbucks....

Sorry Mikeygaw, but I didn't remember until locomutt mentioned it just before 10 last
night. I had forgotten about reading about it in Jim Dorsey's "entertainment" column
in yesterday's paper. Otherwise, I'd have mentioned it yesterday.

Walt used to have a partner on the ambulance service, who LOVED Alf very much.
He went so far as to bring his Alf doll to work with him, and Alf was strapped in the
middle seat whenever they were out in the ambulance. Sure hope TVLand starts
showing Alf reruns.

If it WAS a Triple Banded Lurk, right there is what happened to your 10th cat.
Saw one eat a rockin' chair once.
Rumor has it that the Triple Banded came from illegal CIA experiments conducted with the ships "cat" that they recovered from Roswell and a bad tempered Single Stripe. But, of course, thats only the rumor.

The 10th cat is Mookie and she never liked to watch Alf. Remember, she doesn't like TV all that much....
