98 degrees, feels like 103 in the shade, 10 degrees hotter in the sun...
Normal thunderstorms in the afternoon, sea breeze meets hot air blowing in from the plains, will rain from 3 pm till 6-6:30...
Plan on grilling ribs, a green salad, ice tea, ranch beans and tater salad with Blue Bell for desert..will sit out tonight to watch the shooting stars and listen for the refineries to explode....

I don't do much: drinking water. Usually, my water intake is in coffee
or tea. Put a couple of water bottles in the freezer to get nice and cold.

Went fishing on the river today with a friend. I caught a couple bluegills and a little sheepshead. I had what felt like a huge fish but the line got snagged on a tree in the water.[banghead][banghead]

Breakfast/brunch will be: turkey bacon, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy,
cantalope & watermelon, cereal, oatmeal, toast (cinnamon toast this morning),
juice and coffee or tea.

today.

....Another hot one shaping up....Was over 80 an hour ago, so we'll be in the 90's again this afternoon. Recieved .75" of rain overnight....I didn't even hear it doing it.

CW- You must have had some soup yourself. Still a bit shakey myself, but something worked, the fever is over. Maybe Wily was right, just "train lag". LOL That usually hits me worse eastbound. The 14 to 16 hours making the shift from Central to Eastern time will mess anybody up.

Cool 70 degrees and showers in the forecast hear. Should be some relief on the way for the Indiana contingent and perhaps it will even cross the river.

Ed. Exploding refineries. Did I miss something while in the Amtrak Alternate Universe? I am afraid I do not have much sympathy for the senior management at PB, at least not the Managing Director. (That's Chairman and CEO in British speak.) That should be Micro Managing Director the way they operate. The one on the job in the mid-eighties was responsible for my job at the coal company being abolished. I go to a high risk of running out of gas before I stop at the green sign. I'm sure they don't notice but it makes me feel better.[:D][:D]

If you heard on the news, in Markham, Ontario, police were called to a closed store in a mall and found dynamite, grenades, military ammo and bomb making material.

I guess Canada is now going to have to be extra vigilant on terrorism as I'm sure along with others that the target was Toronto.

Thease are certainly scary times.

Good morning everyone it looks like it is going to be a wonderful day here in the lovely state of wisconsin but any who. But we could still use some rain up here so if any one has some can you please send it up this way so our grass can get green once again. Before the leaves start to fall of the trees and school starts up again Oh yeah Saw my frist high school football game today which means only one thing school starts in 2 1/2 weeks or something like that oh well have a good day and I'll see you all later [:D][:D]

Back to school times. Fun fun times,....................um............NOT!!! I honestly don't miss the homework, the projects, and the impromtu tests. I shouldn't talk though because, I'm currently in college. College though is a lot more layed back than high school, and grade school. I do like that.

Mushrooms, bacon, black olives, and pineapple--and a view of the tracks from out the window. Now that's a pizza experience! That's what I did last time, and I would have done it again tonight except that I'm apparently coming down with something less than pleasant. I hope I can sleep it off (just how close did you get to me, Jay?).
