Brian (KY), you're welcome to any leftovers you can find here in the Diner. Usually have
several containers with leftovers in the fridge. But I do clean the fridge out every Saturday,
so that there isn't anything left too long in the fridge.

Mookie, where is Carl out smelling the lilacs? He must've gone a lonnnnng way to smell
the lilacs. Speaking of lilacs, I've got one that Walt planted for me six years ago. The
spring after he planted it, it bloomed. Hasn't bloomed since. Anybody have any ideas what
I can do to get it to bloom next spring?

Joe, sorry, but they didn't bring us any strawberries today. We got watermelon chunks,
potatoes, and broccoli florets. That was all they had today.[:(]

Supper tonight will be BLTs, fried taters, and watermelon for dessert.

Chad - I almost took the trolley the last time I was in San Diego. Sounds like it would have been an interesting "trip". Only two things kept me from it - fear and common sense! [:)]

I think he is out smelling the lilacs! My favorite pastime! Nothing smells better than a good clean cat or lilacs! [:D]

Hey CW,
Since you have some leftovers and I didn't make it in yesterday, I'll take a helping.

I've got desert covered. The owner of our company brings us in goodies everyday to eat, so I'll snack on them.

I didn't post this yesterday cause it took so long to upload my pix from last weekend. I had a wild time friday night. My bro Joe and I decided to go down to Tijauana for Cinco De Mayo (Mexican independance day). Instead of driveing we took the trolley. I got pole position right behind the operator with a clear view ahead. That was cool. I was suprised that the throttle appeared to only have two notches. The whole trip the operator was yapping on the cell phone. We met up with my buddy that lives down there and we went out to a few bars. Joe had never been there before. We had a pretty wild night danceing and drinking. I even blew $5 on a polaroid picture. It was a trip hearing American rock songs being sung in spanish. They usually play spanish music.

Well Joe drank a bit too much and going home was an interesting journey. He made it too the cab alright but when we got dropped off at the border he stumbled out of the cab and fell in the street. There were three cops standing right there and I thought for sure they would hassle us, but they didn't. We somehow made it all the way to the border building and through the checkpoint. Then I headed to the trolley and half way there realised I lost him. So back inside I found him sitting on a bench. After a few minuets we headed back to the trolley. We almost made it when BLAM, he fell face first to the ground. Well as I was picking him up these 2 American cops standing up on the ped overpass yelled down,"Get on that trolley or you're going to jail"[:O]. So I was half draging him and at the same time telling him,"Come on Joey...come on Joey". We made it to the trolley door and there were a few people that started chanting "Joey..Joey...Joey". By the time we climbed aboard and took a seat the whole trolley full of people were chanting "Joey" and laughing. Aparently we were not the only ones loaded. That must have went on for 10 minuets. Actually not everyone was chanting, There was this one older guy that moved to the other end of the car and clutched his bag a little bit tighter. Then Joe, in a moment of clairity, stands up and looks around with this shocked look on his face and the chanting started all over again. That was a trolley ride I'll never forget. Viva La Mexico !!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. Coffee is on, and juice is made.

Breakfast is on the warmer bar. Yes, it's Tuesday, and I've already had
people ringing the doorbell to sign up for Produce today.

See some dust on the train layouts. You guys need to check your layouts:
I'm NOT touching them!! I'll turn them on, but I'm not cleaning the dust bunnies
off them.

Lunch today will be leftover pork chop abracadbra. Made plenty for yesterday,
and hardly had anyone in here. See you all later, got more people ringing the
doorbell.

[:O] Oops - excuse my bad manners.

Short nite. Too cool, too hot, too humid, too noisy (thunder) too windy (fan) and salty supper. We should know better by this time!

So before someone else gets in here - I am so in the hammock! [|)]

Wow - less than a page today - pretty quiet.

Mz Mook - My back yard is fenced, but several of the little hoppers found their way in back when the daughter's Dalmatian was in residence here. Unfortunately they could never remember how to get back out again when the dog discovered them and gave chase... Biggest problem with that was that the danged things have fleas....

After several nights of free food over the past week, I've gotta cut back - but I will take some of that pie...

Hummm...lets see what happened to me today?/...................um Nothing.. I jsut got bored in my Technical Writing class and craked jokes all afternoon. That was a lot more entertaining than, listing to my professor ramble on and on about how important works cited pages are. Oh we did get a chance to talk about Crystal Meth, that got real interesting.

Oh I also did a burn out in one of my school's cars (95 Nissan Maxama) on one of the back roads, it was getting new tires anyway so I decided to use em' up. So I made my mark. [:D]

CW can I have some Chop Abracadbra w/onion slices, creamed potatoes, whole kernal corn and cornbread. I also need a Sprite to go with it.

If it was one of those semi-wild cottontails that are so prolific around here, don't worry- it's probably resurrected as half a dozen more little ones.

I thought about making a joke about cutting another food item, but decided I'd better let it be for now in the interest of good taste (or in this case, good smell?).[:D]

We have a surplus of those wascally wabbits after a mild winter. We'll drop one in (one of the more prolific Garbonzo Brothers that has its own guard-scottie protecting it from Mr. Fox) by parachute on my way to Boston Tuesday night.

Blah, Monday- back to the grind- but at least for me it's only a three-day week this week! Thursday we pack and fly off to Vegas. It has been a very interesting weekend, though, as our daughter's boyfriend officially proposed to her, so now we have ANOTHER wedding to plan for, this one tentatively next year in October.[^][8D][tup]

Uh...I'm in too....but chicken does not make for good travelling food. (Travellin yes/food no...we're on the way to Miniwyo's back yard to do a bridge at Bitter Creek on Monday)

Settle for a couple of liverwurst sandwiches, chips and a six-pack of Vernor's whilst going Denver-Laramie-Rock Springs today.
