Brian, and eightinsand, I've got your pizza orders for tonight.  Looks like the menu tonight will be:

1.  supreme
2.  hawaiian
3.  double cheese
4.  sausage/pepperoni/mushroom

Think I'm going to find myself a half gallon Mason or Ball jar, and fill it with ice and lemonade!!

Supper menu will be ready at 7 p.m. sharp.

I'll put an order in for Supreme as usual- doing my best to stay cool here, 96.5 degrees outside at the moment.  Occasionally I do go out back on the deck to work on sanding down our large picnic table to prepare it for repainting, but I don't stay out there for very long.

As just a humble new guy lookin' for a counter stool, would Hawaiian Pizza (ham and pineapple) be too much to ask. It heats up well on the sidewalls too...

Good Day All (Unless you're one of those upside down folks, in which case I suppose it would be Good Night),

Well, I certainly think the Gatorade on tap is a wonderful idea. It was absolutely atrocious last night. I don't have A/C at the house, only a small single room swamp cooler. Alas! it was not able to handle the cooling duties sufficiently last night. Didn't fall soundly asleep until about 2 or 3 in the morning!

Thankfully I'll be performing housesitting duties the next week or so. The place I'm staying has the most wonderfully cold basement in the Denver Metro area, so I'm looking forward to that!

Jay, always have a camera on me (though occasionally I'll bring an odd-ball out, like my Soviet Fed 3b Rangefinder). Let me at that moonrise!

Mutt, you mean to say it was raining Mookies and Locomutts at your place? That must've been quite the site!

Kevin, good to see you made it back here despite the problems. I'm not quite sure all the bugs have been worked out of the new system yet, but Bergie does seem to be making some good progress. Hopefully you'll have better luck with future trips to the DD&CS.

Well, I must be off to deliver some friends (the ones with the lovely frigid basement) out to DIA. Hope you all have a great weekend. Stay cool!

Morning all.....

Just got out of the cooler, all the Gatorade and Squincher tanks are topped off, should be good for the day.  Jim, I'm not sure who bottles Squincher, I think they're an independent, but we had the stuff when I worked for the WSOR, and Stoughton Trailers buys the stuff by the pallet load.  The orange tastes a lot better than Gatorade's orange, they also have lemon-lime and fruit punch, all are on tap here.

Be in later for pizza.

Joe, thanks for getting the coffee ready, and making the juice and lemonade!  Looks like today's going
to be another scorcher!!  The guy has shown up to cut our grass.  Gonna have to watch going outdoors,
because I don't want to be sneezing all day.  Blasted allergies.

Anyway, Saturday brunch is now ready:  bacon, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, pancakes w/
your choice of toppings, grits.  This will be on the warmer/buffet bar until 2 p.m.

Any special requests for our SATURDAY NIGHT PIZZA FEST??

Everyone have a great day, stay as cool as possible, be safe, and see ya in a little while.

I've been told to park the bike for today, and probably tomorrow.  Not happy about that, but the Rescue Squad is out of commission.

I don't know that other numeric language.

They should be moving UP 1995 downtown in an hour or so.

//Taps a TALL fruit punch Gatorade//

Whew, another warm one here today, got up to 87 in Madison, and was fairly humid.  Was really nasty at work, so we just hurried up and got done by 9 tonight.

Great dinner out on the balcony, CW, was nice to relax after work.

See everyone later.

Jay,you're correct about how NICE the patio is;if we had eaten on ours here
at the house tonight,we'd have been "washed away"!! Came down like the
proverbial "cats & dogs" for awhile. Several parts our our area are dealing
with downed trees, power lines, etc. & flash flooding from this round. At least
this one missed us,we're still a bit "gun shy" from previous encounters.

Kevin-

Bergie didn't send you an e-mail in French?

We might have had to sneak you accross the border to get you back in.

Glad you could make it.  With all the recent improvements in the DD&CS facilities, we can't afford the business downturn.

CW  Thanks for setting up dinner on the patio.  While it is hot or rainy everyplace else, at the Depot Diner, the sky is clear, the temps are cool, there will be a super sunset, and NO MOSQUITOES.

Chris-Bring your camera.  There may be a moonrise photo op.

Now, for every one else:  tonight, we are going to take advantage of the new digs, and there will be a
nice, candle-lit supper on the balcony.  For your eating enjoyment, there will be lasagna, tossed salad,
grape juice in wine glasses (no actual wine, just the grape juice), and for dessert, peach pie ala mode.
Will start serving this at 8:30 p.m.  And there will be soft music playing on the jukebox.

And for everyone else, I've got our Friday Fish Fry in progress.  All the regular sides for the fish fry
are available, along with corn on the cob.

I'm glad you  put in two Gatorade taps - one for MC and one for the rest of us.

I may need one myself this weekend - definitely working on the RR, and it is supposed to be hot. Packing lots of water!

Got a report directly from the front that there are still a few glitches in the system, but they are working them out.  Finally got all my stuff straight.

And it's almost time to head home - see if I can catch my barber.  Her working hours seem to be "open at 9, some days at 10, etc, close at 6, some days at 5, or maybe noon."

I'll be back in later for some supper.
