Welcome back, everyone!!  Wow, two and a half days away, and it seems like it's been a month.  Big Smile [:D]  Let's see; Joe,
you mentioned burgers, correct?  Okay, I've got the freezer and fridge unlocked, so we'll get some burgers on the
stove top, in the cast iron skillet, and some fries in the deep fryer.

Don't worry, I've taken a fresh, frozen chocolate cake out of the freezer, so it'l be ready for Mookie in the morning.

Although, we will be having a "celebration" tomorrow.  Everyone will find out more details on that in the morning.

Everyone have a great evening, and Sign - Welcome [#welcome] back!!

I'm starved!  Almost three days without food.  Just have CW unlock the refer, we'll get the food out.

Wow, nice remodel job!  It only took two days to fix the place up.  Not bad at all.  Guess I should stop lurking in the background and speak up.

Well Good Morning All,

Took a circuitous route up US 36 to US 34, drove over Trail Ridge, and came back down through Granby, Fraser, Winter Park, etc. Lots of trains, but so much rain that yours truly didn't even try too hard to get any pictures.

While we really needed this, it would've been nice to see even a half hour over the weekend without rain! Oh well...

Happy belated birthday Mark. Hope you had a great one!

Quentin, the rails are the remnants of some mine tracks up above the town of Hahn's Peak, CO (up by Steamboat Springs). There were a lot of abandoned buildings, and mine shafts and things up there, but that was my favorite shot of that trip.

Well all, have a good couple days off, and we'll catch you in the new forum. Hope Bergie has some pro movers to take care of the layouts and stuff! Don't want them to get damaged!

Not too much happening here, just hot, got fourth and 11th places in poker this weekend, after coming back from parents on Wednesday.

Happy B-day Fuzzy, great site.

Catch y'all on the flip side, hopefully the rebuild of the site turns out great.

See y'all on Wednesday nite.

I guess I'm going to have to panhandle for food for the next couple days. I don't want to starve to death.

I know what we all can do!! Everybody meet at LM's and CW's house the next 3 nights around 7:00 and we all have one huge party.

See everyone on the other side of the tunnel. I know I'll be really, really, really, hungry.

Wow are we getting rain! And hail too! My poor car is shuddering -- it's already got hail dimples [:(].

I was just out trying to get a picture of the Z-CHEM. They turned out blurry, except for my pics of some of the middle trailers. (One x-Amtrak, one x-CN that you could still make out the old lettering)

As I came home, the sun was shining right through the clouds! Was a really neat sight, and I tried to get pictures, but the camera wasn't on the right setting. Oh well.

Belated [bday], Mark. Been browsing around your albums and 3-um, and I'm impressed. I might even register. You really need to take more trips into Iowa, though. Davenport and Clinton almost don't count![swg]

Very hot day here today- digital thermometer currently reads 94.5 degrees. I'm taking a cool-down break from working on a little project replacing planks on the back deck.

See ya'll on the new forum!

No running on the tracks today. Had to play "Pleasant Valley" for Sunday and be the weekend sqjuire so after heading to the health club and lifting this morning I had major lawn and weed work all afternoon. I love Poland Spring on days like today...

Amazing how this stuff can catch up on you when you are away playing with trains...
