Good Tuesday morning, everyone.  Well, my alarm didn't go off this morning, and I've not been up but about a half hour, and this is Produce day.Disapprove  We're not getting rain just yet, but it is on the way in.  Very close to us.  Quentin and Justin, you all may be getting some already.

I've got the coffee on, juices are ready, and hot water for tea is on.  I'm cheating for breakfast this morning:  I had stocked up on those Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls, plates, and they're in the cooler for you all this morning.  Sorry about that.  I'll fix a really good homemade breakfast tomorrow morning.

See you all after I get through with Tuesday Produce.  Everyone enjoy your breakfast, and have a good morning.

On way back to WI, have another doc appt on thursday, may make a second to have reg doc look at my back, pulled something the other day, not healing as fast as I'd hoped it would.

Sloppy Joes sound good tonite, then off to the sleeper for rest.....

Good evening, everyone.  Sorry I haven't been in since this morning:  had to go to a 'seminar' and had to leave about 11:30 this morning, to be there at 12:45.  Didn't get home until after 4 p.m.  So, supper is going to be:

1.  Sloppy joes w/your choice of fries, onion rings, or chips; fresh garden salad

2.  Burgers and/or cheeseburgers, with the same selection of sides:  fries, onion, rings, chips and garden salad.

Right now, I'm looking forward to the rain coming in later tonight:  it is really warm.  We got up to 86 today.  Around here, it looks like if you really, really want rain, the city needs to plan a big to-do, like all the Derby events going on this week.  Almost a guarantee for rain!!

Everyone enjoy your supper and evening, and take care!!

Another beautiful Spring morning here.....sunshine, and a bit of breeze and fragrance of Spring is all around us.....Eveything looks so fresh.  Windows are open.  Rain will catch up with us no doubt by tonight....It's been lurking above us for almost 2 days but the big High here has forced most of it around our north side.

Hay Quintion, it's raining here now. it's 77* here. Tommorow is ISTEP+. Can't wait for supper!

Joe:

I'd be out cutting grass (backyard) this afternoon, but....woke up this morning to 4+ inches of wet snow and it's still coming down. Ah yes, springtime in the Rockies.....(psst.....somebody drug test the weatherliar or Ma Nature...)

Fortunately, the pavement was warm and melted most of the driveway/sidewalk/street surfaces, so Copcar and I won't be shovelling. This afternoon will be sloppy for all of us groundpounders.

Good time to go hide in the office. (We'll take the moisture, thank you very much!)

Good morning. CW, thanks much for serving breakfast for the rest of us this morning! I think I'll grab myself a bear claw while I am in here this morning. We have 38 degrees here in Sioux Falls and a threat of rain. I woke up to a thunderstorm at about 6:30 yesterday morning, and we had gotten 4/10ths of an inch of rain over the weekend. Very soggy here.

Our local railroad club, the Sioux Valley Model Engineers Society wrapped up it's annual Spring open house yesterday afternoon, and our visitor turnout was pretty good, especially yesterday. Just after we had opened our doors though, a photographer from the "Newspaper Who's Name We Do Not Speak" (our local, liberal, left-leaning Agus Leader, some people call it the Argus Liar) showed up and we allowed her to take pictures of our layout. She took a picture of me, but whether or not any of these pictures she had taken will appear in print, remains to be seen.

Well, I hope the rest of you out there are all having a very good day!

Good Monday morning, everyone.  Glad you all enjoyed the food yesterday.

Brian, I'm glad to hear nothing came of that nasty weather for you all!

Larry, very nice picture of you.  Glad the auction went well.  Maybe this week, you can get a little rest after you get off work!Wink

Coffee, juices and hot water for tea are ready.  And mudchicken, how about some Gatorade this morning?  Or some unsweetened iced tea?

On the warmer bar this morning:  bagels, bear claws, BLTs, along with the regular breakfast menu of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, fresh pineapple slices, fresh cantaloupe and watermelon chunks.

We have a current temp this morning in the low to mid 70s, supposed to get up to 85 today.  Very warm for this time of the year.  Then, rain coming in sometime late tonight, and continuing on thru Friday, at least off and on.  Seems the 'cold' front has stalled right on top of us, and isn't going anywhere.

Everyone have a good morning, and Mookie, how about coffee out in the garden this morning?

Outstanding Larry!!   What were the Good Bargains?!

(you didn't have to Demo that tractor did you?!Wink)

There was a gift card from a video store, a gift certificate from a restaurant, a wine tasting, a half day rental of a double kayak, a ride on our railroad, the little tractor, a Zippo lighter decorated for the NY Giants, and some coupons for a local cab company.  It was the last board of the night, so I didn't stick around to see how they did.

Wrapped up the auction tonight.  That's it for another year (although I'll undoubtedly work on the art auction in the fall).

I'm pooped.  Time for bed.  6 AM gonna show up awfully early.

Brian, hope you and Joanie have an NWS Radio,  or very loud Civil Defense Sirens.

Hope it doesn't get any closer than that, and that's too D....close!

Lets hope you all don't see any bad weather at all.

Well, the squall line fizzled, thank God, and all we're getting right now is a steady light rain.

We just bought a new digital NWS warning radio a few weeks ago- today was the first day it actually went off.  Nice and loud, too, guaranteed to wake us up if it happens during the night!

We've had ours for a few years, wouldn't give it up for anything; stays on 24/7.

(rechargeable batteries)

However; there are times when it goes off in the middle of the night,

I could really curse it...........However..........

It's my turn to keep a nervous eye on the sky tonight- we've already had one tornado touch down just a few miles north of us near Alburnett a couple of hours ago, and now there's a solid squall line bearing down on us from the west.

Back from my professional obligation in snowy/foggy/rainy Cheyenne. Uncle Pete seems to be kinda slow, compared to past visits. DRGW Tunnel Motor 5371 seems to have wound up in Steve Lee's steam shop, slumbering away with the rotary and the covered wagons. (think I was a little spent, sacked out for almost 14 hours- the places I've been in the last week!)

Hopefully the rain holds off so I can mow the entire yard for the first time.

Nice duds Tree! (You, LC & I could clog up most hallways)

ps - If CW wants me to do my magic act, I'm gonna have to clean up my act. I'll still show up for brocolli-cheese anything.

Quentin, you mentioned that you and your wife will be going to RED LOBSTER for lunch after you've been to church this morning. That is interesting because tomorrow morning I will be going out to our local RED LOBSTER to apply for work. I went out there this past Friday and was told that they are only taking applications from Monday thru Thursday. It was a real bummer being told this, but I will not be deterred. I want to work for them badly enough that I will try them again tomorrow.
