Good Wednesday morning, everyone, and Happy April's Fool Day.

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate and hot water for tea are ready.

On the warmer bar this morning:  bagels, bear claws, turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy.

Hope everyone enjoys their breakfast, their morning, and take care.

Evening all,

Wet and rainy today. Paula do you have the song Long Black Train? Supper was really good!

Yes, Justin, I do have the song Long Black Train.  Someone had the CD, and burned a copy for me.

The warmer bar has been replenished with all of our Tuesday Mexican Fiesta.

Enjoy your supper, and everyone have a good evening.

.....The same thing here too Tom....Fast food places and WalMart are seemingly getting more business in this economic down, downturn....People want more for their money.

Good luck on securing a new Job Ray....

Ray, that is a real bummer and plainly an excuse. The fast food places here are backed up with business, and I bet your area is the same. I am so sorry for your misfortune.

70 degrees and cloudy, with rain coming. Now that I got the ditch cleaned out, that's not such a bad thing. Before, if we got a big soaking rain, water stood in the yard and things backed up. Let it rain...

Everybody take care and C U

My day here started out wet and gloomy, it's been raining here in Sioux Falls since early this morning.

I reported to work some 20 minutes early this morning and had not even clocked in when the manager told me that her boss has chosen to lay me off for this week along with a few others. He is making the claim that all three of the Wendy's stores in this area are loosing money and for this reason they are having to cut hours for about half the crew who work at this same location. I was told that I am supposed to take the rest of this week off and then call Wendy's this Monday to find out if I would be needed. I know this is a crock, but there is nothing that I can do other than try to find another job.

I called my oldest sister and let her know what's going on, and she has offered to take me grocery shopping at her expense, so that I will not go hungry, and she as also offered to run me out to one of our Wal-Mart stores so that I can apply for work. I'd been told that Wal-Mart is looking to hire something like 80 people.

54.5 degrees now and overcast.....Possible light rain sometime today, but so far just a few drops.

Yep, April fool stuff will be available tomorrow....Probably no shortage of it.

But sunshine is to return tomorrow too, so that might offset the other stuff....At least, each day we're moving away from possible snow.

Yard mowing started yesterday for me so we're not wanting anymore of the white stuff...

I was preparing myself for the APRIL 1 spoof but Tom and CW got me a day early. Guess I'll just eat more of the great array of Mexican dishes, especially the sob snapper!  My turn to be one day early.

Need rain, don't we always, in AZ. Guess I'll turn on the drip system for my plantings.

Thank you Tom:  I 'talked' with Bergie last night, and was going to close the "old" Cafe later on this evening.  I'll email him and let him know, if he hasn't seen this one opened up, so he can lock the old one.

We had close to 55 people show up for Tuesday Produce this morning.  They brought today:  apples, lettuce, quart cartons of whole cream, cartons of eggs, and potatoes (10# bags).

I have our Tuesday Mexican Fiesta ready and on the warmer bar:

1.  Tacos (soft shell and hard shell)

2.  Burritos (beef, beef & bean, and enchilada style)

3.  Chimichangas

4.  Fajitas (steak and also grilled chicken)

5.  Cheesy beef nachos

6.  South of the border snapper

7.  Beef enchiladas

8.  Quesadillas

Everyone have a good afternoon, and if you're in the areas getting rain showers this afternoon, stay warm, dry and safe.  We only had sprinkles this morning, but some more rain showers are heading our way, so we'll be getting more after awhile, looks like.

Since March is ending, it is time to relocate again. Allow me to do the honors. Enjoy
