Good Friday morning, everyone.  The rain has left Louisville.  Kind of foggy this morning, and the temp is a cool 51 degrees.  Sun is to come out sometime later this morning, and looking for a high of 62.

Coffee is ready, there's plenty of hot water for hot tea, and there's fresh juices this morning

Our regular Friday morning Doughnuts, danishes, bagels and bear claws are on the counter, so everyone go ahead and enjoy.

Mookie, got your coffee mug down, and ready to fill it up, when you get in!!

Mornin' CW - will take that coffee.....

Things getting back to more normal - except I will have to play a domestic goddess today...Ugh.  I would rather change oil in Millie, but she is at work all day.

Blah...

Morning, Mookie!  Here's your coffee, and how about a couple of bagels?  Got the rockers situated for us, so we can talk, eat breakfast, drink our coffee, and talk about whatever (trains, of course, but other stuff too!)

.....Our start here is a 50.5 degrees with overcast skies but it's to be dry today....Hope so as it must be a mowing day.  We're to get to around 70 later today.  Will head out to breakfast late this morning as we have family here from Florida to spend a few months in their little house they purchased last season for that very reason.

Look for the the sunshine today Jen.....

thanx Joe - I like to sit and fold - now we need someone to volunteer to change the bed, do the actual laundry - down in the basement - dust the furniture and vacuum.  This is going to require a nice long nap - probably before and after!

Mookie, housekeeping, doing laundry and washing dishes are not my favorite tasks, but I would come down to your house if I could and cook dinner for you, or maybe fill your home with the aroma of freshly baked bread. Chef [C=:-)]

Morning all.  Glad to see that you are feeling better Mook.  Keep those whiskers up!

Stopped by the bike shop the other day.  Got a new seat but the package must've been tampered with.  This 'comfort' seat was replaced by a replica of an axe-head.  Didn't feel that good this morning!  Getting new tires and possibly some faster gears.  Should make the commute that much faster and more fun!

Gotta run...

Please send some of that sun south!!!! It's still in the low 60s here, but it looks

like it could start storming any minute.

(we are Supposed to be partly sunny, with little, or no chance of rain today.)

Dan, you need to get one of the "older" seats for the Bike, rather than one of

the "New" ones; it's easier to wrap a pillow, or cushion around those older seats!!

Got everything refreshed on the warmer bar, for our Friday Fish Fry.  Cole slaw and desserts are in the cooler.  Even made a couple more pies for supper (chocolate and blueberry).

Hope everyone has a good evening, and I'll try to be back in later on.

Say - now there is a business possibility.  Motels have cleaning services - some vending machines - all the necessary things for a nap and maybe a coffee house close by.  I could do that - and for a small stipend, I could read their papers and test all the amenities!

Wonder if I will ever get used to not going to bed at 8:30pm and getting up at 3:30 am.....Well at least it is quiet - except on the police scanner - they are doing a brisk business.....

Since this is my first visit to the diner I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Jesse Red Horse of the Blackfeet Nation and my rail road is HO size, I hope I can still get a cup of cybor Coffee while I'm here.

I didn't see any signs on the door so I don't know if you serve key board rail roaders or not, I'm sorry too say that I've been on very few trains in my life but I love them just the same.

Now how about some blueberry pie to go with this coffee?

Happy Rails, Jess.

Good Saturday morning, everyone!  Mookie, I didn't wake up quite as early as you, but did hear the phone ringing at 4 a.m.!  Quit just as I was about to pick up the receiver.  Finally went back to sleep about ten minutes later.

Joe, thanks for getting breakfast ready this morning.  Everything looks real good.Dinner [dinner]

Jesse, Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the Flat Wheel Cafe.  We're always glad to have new people.  We don't have many rules around here.  Here's the list:

1.  Don't miff the cat or the cook

2.  No foul language

3.  No alcohol

4.  We talk about anything and everything around here, especially trains.

I don't know much about trains myself, but, like you, really like them, and still learning about them.  That is an education that will be going on until the day I'm no longer on this earth.

Here's your coffee, and blueberry pie.  Hope to see you in often.

...Jess...I'd say all the diner folks will gladly welcome you to visit.  In my opinion, railroad interest is the most qualifying issue.

Our across street neighbors visit New Hamphire each summer.....and are about to head that way.  They go to Center Harbor and from there out on Winnepasaukee Lake to the island where they have a residence.

....Joe, understand you are to see Carl and Pat today....if you will, send a hello along from us here....I know they were to visit right in our home area of Pennsylvania on their trip and we wish them an enjoyable time.  Of course, maybe they are on their way back...but if not...

Lord willing we're headed that way next Saturday.

Welcome aboard, Jesse. You will find some nice folk here. Currently 62 and clear in Carolina this morning.I think I will have a double helping of pancakes and sausage and grape juice and a slice of that blueberry pie as a chaser. As you can tell, I's hungry this morning.
