I am now awaiting the arrival of the sugar crazed trick or treaters to stop by my doorstep. If they don't come I get snickers bars for the nect couple of weeks WHOOO.
Other than that, it's quiet, the usual around here.
My father sent me an amplifier for my birthday and tonight will be quite exciting with it. I promise I won't blast my child and husband out of the house with it though. It will be fun to play again though

Walt,
Platinum Mist is one of the colors, actually, that I found. I was thinking of a -9W or AC6000...my 'frame' would accomodate that costume! LOL!
No trick-or-treaters at work but the night is young...
Lurking? That's not fun now, is it? LOL!
Dan
many times we hooked up some scary sights at my mom and dads house for trick or treaters. its amazing when you surprise the parents too.you hear the kids say as they come up watch out for this house!!!!buwhahahahahahahaha.got my boo burgers and frankenstein fries for supper tonight.thanks Cw for the dirt cupcakes and gummy worms too.
stay safe
joe
where's the flashlight???
Deshler Ohio-crossroads of the B&O Matt eats your fries.YUM! Clinton st viaduct undefeated against too tall trucks!!!(voted to be called the "Clinton St. can opener").
Okay, Brian, could you NOT lurk so much, and let us know you're here?!?! Cook doesn't like it, when she thinks no one is coming in, and eating what she has prepared!!
Uh, Joe, I don't think I'm responsible for the boo burgers and frankenstein fries, but you're welcome for that, and the cupcakes and gummy worms! Lance, there's containers fixed for you, also, to take to work tonight!
Got the next round of Wednesday Pizza Fest ready for supper, and everything's on the warmer bar. Went ahead and fixed 3 extra large of each of the six kinds of pizzas on today's menu. So there should be enough for everyone.
Joe, here's the flashlight for you!!!!

The cairn Terrier (Toto Dog) just moved in next door. My three have had a few "conversations" with him.
Witnessed some things going on in a rural courthouse today that would never fly in the big city. (Including a lady in the clerk's office brandishing a real machete because it looked like a pirate's saber & scabbard)
Think I'll stay on this side of the asparagus barrier, thank you...
I'll grab a few more slices of 'za and watch the happenings outside. I can glimpse the sidewalk across the parking log: some 'big' kids are hiding in bushes and jumping out hollering BOO at the little ones.
Apparently some people didn't get the memo that scaring people is what some call fun on All Hallow's Eve...
That dad was ticked!
Duff, not too much sugar now, we do not need you bouncing off the walls and ceiling!
And please don't crank up that amp so we hear you in Ky.
Dan, either the -9 or SD70ACe would look great.
And yes, Halloween is SUPPOSED to be fun, but guess we can't get away with things
we did as younger persons, now all people want to do is Sue you for............ No more
"Flaming Bags of......, or Toilet paper, Eggs, or just a plain "Trick or Treat".
Mudchicken, hope dog next door gets the "Rap" for whatever goes down.
(and tell it, it's not in Kansas anymore!)
(CSXforeva is out tonight as a Ninja, (complete with sword, we're awaiting a phone call
from local constabulary.)
(hope she makes it home with the "goodies" before.)
Being Crazy, keeps you from going "INSANE" !! "The light at the end of the tunnel, has been turned off due to budget cuts" NOT AFRAID A Vet., and PROUD OF IT!!

OKAY! But do wonder about the folks down there that live around you!!
(you didn't say if you got any Goodies or not, but guessing by that comment....Not)
Joe, still need a flashlight? Got several you can borrow.
(1 chocolate, 3 ugh..... 1 chocolate, 2 for everyone else...... 2 1 chocolate, yum....)
OK - sanitized candy on the table for one and all.
She who has no signature! cinscocom-tmw
Good Thursday morning, everyone! Mookie, thanks for bringing in the leftover candy! I need a chocolate fix, before going to PT this morning. Appointment is 11:00, so my ride will probably be here at 10:00. So guess someone else will have to set lunch out on the warmer bar for me: I've got some pinto bean/northern bean soup in the Crock Pots, so someone will have to make the cornbread, around 10:30.
Coffee is now ready, and fresh juices are made. (Orange, orange-tangerine, pineapple, apple are the choices today.) On the warmer bar, you'll find: turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, Mookie's beagles, Tree's bear claws, oatmeal & toast, and cinnamon rolls.
Sure do hope that no one woke up with a tummy ache or a headache, from a sugar high, from too much Halloween candy last night.
Message From:The Cook
I hope your round of physical therapy goes well for you this morning, CW. I'll take care of the task of setting out lunch on the warmer bar this afternoon.
I am one of those who overindulged with a lot of sugar yesterday, and in one way or another I am probably going to pay for what I had eaten. I went to work yesterday morning and my employer had a stainless steel pan full of chocolate treats, and all of my co-workers and I were helping ourselves to it while working. I went home with a small root beer, and then before going to bed last night I sat here and munched on about eight or nine, maybe 10 cookies which I had bought from the local bakery the night before last. I usually end up popping a lot of ant-acid tablets after I have been on eating binges like this.......not a good thing, and I am a type II diabetic.
I have an appointment at 2:30 this afternoon with my chiropractor, which I am looking forward to. Dr. Kris has a nice, smooth touch when she works with me. And then I will walk home from her office, which for me would be about a three to four mile hike.
It was 32 degrees here this morning when I got out of bed at 6:00, and it is supposed to be a pretty nice day here with a high of 60. It should make for a nice walk home from my chiropractor's office.
I hope the rest of you out there have a pretty good day.

good morning
thanks cw for breakfast. a cool morning this morning.i put the flashlights back in the cabinet.will go get the leaves later this afternoon.
Everyone apparently goes downtown for Halloween, since I guess it's not safe for the kids to be roaming around a semi rural area after dark. I don't blame them. So...that means snickers bars, payday bars, and M&Ms for the next couple of weeks.
Had fun with my amp, I did use headphones with it...at an appropiate volume*looks at Dan*
I was on a dastardly mission last night, and went nuts on my credit card for my husband's birthday present. I am sure he would like it. A retro shave kit...What...who said that? I think he would love it...but no one say anything to him about it!
I have to check the mail to see if my CD is here. I will have a swiss mushroom burger and some fries to go...Good afternoon all
Duff,
Our silence can be bought..........................
In your dreams dude
I commend you for trying though
retro shave kit?? getting a barbers chair and a barber to come do it???thats retro.csx had to call a recrew for 509.it usually runs in the morning.wonder what happened.also read in the paper that the clinton st viaduct took another truck out.CW I got my container for work it's Friday yay!!!
Joe
I just want you to stay safe Duff...hehe.
Retro kit? I use a buzzer set at 3 mm myself. Keeps things easy. I can always tell if it's time for a hair cut because I can grab my hair with thumb and forefinger.

Lurking.
Good Friday morning to one and all! Well, this is my last day of PT! The good thing about that is: I can take less pain pills!! Do not like taking Percaset, or the generics for Percaset! They just about knock me off my feet.
Coffee is ready, along with fresh juices for today, and there's plenty of hot water for tea this morning. Got the doughnuts and muffins for our Friday morning chit chat.
Mookie, until I have to leave around 10:15, think I'll join you in the window, and do some "lurking" myself!!
Had a senior moment at our house. I won't name the individual but think a lot of you can identify with this.
Went into the hall closet to get jacket, fumbled around in the dark to find the one wanted, turned around to exit, switched on the light and then exited the closet, closing the door.
I heard some mumbling coming from that area as the closet door opened and the light was switched off......
morning
well its a frosty 28 degrees this morning.chance of snow flurries maybe monday/tuesday?? Matt is off on the bus to school.well tonight we have round 2 of a GMC battle between fairview and tinora.sherwood will be rocking tonight.
OK, finally some time to make a meaningful post...
Good luck, Ed. Luckily for us our kids are grown, and the oldest and his wife just moved back in with us last week, so now we have some extra help around the house. I assisted in the move from Orlando by flying down there and driving the Budget Rent-A-Truck back- I'm still recovering (the driver's seat/quarters and the rear door are made for people 6'-4" and under- I'm 6'-5").
Our daughter's wedding went off without a hitch three weeks ago- they flew to San Diego for a week next to Mission Bay, and left the day before homes started going up in smoke.
Joanie's still dealing with issues related to her knees- they still hurt in spite of the Syn-Visc injections, but now her hips and back are adding to her woes.
Work has been getting much busier as well- on that note, time to terminate this post. TTFN...

Ed, when I was in PT after the wreck, the ladies that were doing the PT were such that unless they nearly killed you, you wouldn't complain.... The entire female staff were lookers.... The male staff on the other hand looked like they broke out of the zoo!!

Last time I got hurt my 'therapist' looked straight out of the rowing section on a Viking Klingon Warship.
Hello all! Made it through therapy, got home, and took a long nap. Feeling much better now. My therapist was male, and he liked to tease me: particulary about my cane, and then this week, my walking stick. Telling me to not decide to hit him with it. Told him I wouldn't do that (while thinking to myself, if you really make me hurt, I might give you a level swing!). Fortunately, he never made me hurt too badly, so he was safe!!
Our Friday Night Fish Fry is now on the warmer bar. Fish on the menu tonight:
1. Catfish2. Cod3. Hallibut4. Flounder5. Perch6. Shrimp
And we have the usual sides of fries, hushpuppies, cole slaw and all the usual desserts.
Hope you all have a great evening, and if anyone's going to any football games, I hope your team wins.
