All the Adirondack leaf peepers got a mixed bag this weekend - the colors were at peak, but it was cloudy and today (Sunday) drizzly all day.

Still we had lots and lots of riders and they all seemed to enjoy the "show."

It's funny, though.  One crowd will be quite gregarious - taking lots of pictures and asking lots of questions.  Another will be relatively quiet, just sitting back and taking in the ride and the scenery.

We did have a problem with some slick rail.  Wet rail and leaves turn the rail into a "skating rink."  When that happens, it doesn't take much of a grade to stall a train.

Home for now, with a full week of things to do, then back on the railroad next weekend.
