22 Atlas/Katos Largley SP,Rio Grande,BN in N scale and about 12-15 or so in HO
mostly Athearn 2 Spectrum Blecchhmanns!! Dash 8 40 CWs CSX,& Nofolk Sothern 1 Kato NW2 Rio Grande i have N Scale running at this time

I read and earlier post regarding the Spectrums..... well they are powerful locos but mine are just a bit noisy and rough running and hesitant at times never could get them to settle down any stripped them to the frame and basicly went over them with a fine tooth comb from the bottom up and still they dont run worth a Damn! pull yes, run well
No i dont f**kin think so! Why? Cuz they suck!! As a result they are used for static display in the engine terminal to be scrapped at a later time
right now they are in their boxes awaiting their fateful dispostion i' ll never run those pieces of #$&*%# again

If I tell, someone might tell my wife!
The good thing about it I can say Dad bought it, which isn't far from the truth. Investors are always a good thing for any railway survival.

I have three Bachmann Spectrum 44-tonners and one 70-tonner, two GP-9's (one SP, one WP), an F3 (in SP Black Widow) in my diesel barn. I think I have another F-unit in a box of my dad's old stuff but I don't think it runs, so I don't count it in my total count.

In electrics, I've got two single-truck Birneys (one runs marginally well with its original motor, the other barely runs--both due for repowering) and, I think, four or five Bachmann Brill trolleys (one modified to resemble a Sacramento PG&E car but not yet painted, the others awaiting paint and other mutilation.)

I don't own any HO steam at the moment but may pick up an 0-4-0 or 0-6-0 switcher if I can find one appropriate for WP.

G: Gauge 1 - MTH HUDSON; USA - 5 (1-SW, 2-GP38s, 1-SD40); ARISTO - 2 (RS+040); Bachmann - 1 and O: Lionel - 1; MTH - 2. My G's are outside runners year round. Would be out there today even at 17 degrees and snow has melted down to plowable range, oh well - maybe next week; paperwork catch up day this evening! I thought work stayed at work, :-). When I do I'll put a link to some pics.

I have 7 - 2 steam and 5 diesel. My favorite diesels are the Atlas RS3 (I have 1 L&N and 1 N&W) that I bought back in the mid or late 1980's.

I have 25 HO steam Locomotives. All except 2 are either, altered Kits, cross kitted, or part scratch built. I have used several Cary boilers. I have 6 462's , 4 460's, 4 282's, 2 482's, 2 280's, 1 440, 1 260, 3 060's and 2 040's. I run 22 trains in a timetable operation and all the locomotives are used for some part of it.

I have not counted them, but I enjoy collecting them. Isn't model railroading so much FUN!!!! My favorite is the early steam; brass when I can find them and Round House Products. Now that they are RTR it is great because they run so very smooth with directional lighting. All I do is add more piping to them to add the finnishing touches.

I'm fairly new to the hobby, and only own five engines, all in HO. Three steamers: IHC L&N Heavy Mike, an IHC L&N Tea Kettle, and a Bachmann Thomas the Tank Engine. I also own two Union Pacific SD40s, neither of which work.

I currently have 21, all HO scale. I model the Southern and the L&N in the late 40's-early 50's, and so have a mix of late steam and early diesel. When the Broadway Limited Heavy Mikes arrive I'll add 2 of them. I think that will complete the roster.
At least that's the game plan thus far.

Five in all, if you count a MOW kitbashed IM-Mack railtruck and a scratchbuilt light rail goose. The standard locomotive roster includes: 0-6-0, 2-6-0 and a 2-6-2. All are set up as oil fired. I've no idea whats next but the line is in the market for some heavier motive power.
