Kevin - will they keep the outside loo or do they already have the necessary facilities inside the house? I mean it´s just a big garage with an attached kitchen, so I wonder whether they have a bathroom?
Happy times!

"You´re never too old for a happy childhood!"
It's a nice paver driveway Kevin.
Like Mike said, they don't have to worry about it heaving up.
I'm watching 2019 nap car. It's the same sound, it works, I'm fading in and out of a nap on a Sunday
NICE

Yes, they are real sanded pavers. They did a really good job on it.

Living the dream.
Another Louisville treasure, Jerry's Junk. I've always wanted to visit there when I go down to Louisville but never made it.

Now I see Jerry Lotz passed away back in July of 2019 and all the "junk" was auctioned off. I would have paid a King's Ransom for that cast iron New York Central bridge emblem!

I wonder if or when the caboose will be moved out or will it become part of the property? Lots of railroad treasures in there. I can imagine what he was keeping inside the place. Word is he never let anyone inside.

Post Hog Post Hog.
It looks like nap car is rained out, ... time to take a nap
I like pavers.
My porch off the back of my house in Prior Lake had a herringbone pattern paver floor layed by Me and Judy. 3380 lbs. The joists were 2x10's - 8" on center on the porch built by me.
Well it looks like Daytona is finally under way!
After having to put up with Donald!
Finally I have Nap Car On!
It looks like real pavers were used, and not stamped concrete. You can do that in the "land of no frost heave."

The house construction across the road is taking shape now.
I really like the driveway.
I am taking a trip down memory lane tonight! I discovered a Youtube channel featuring "Happy Days" from way back when I was a senior in high school. It was my favourite TV show, then. Well, not the most favourite, which was M.A.S.H.
Heartland Division CB&QBowling Green, KY is located on the original L&N line between Louisville and Nashville. Today, they have a small railroad museum called Historic Rail Park.
Garry, I have relatives in Bowling Green, and we get there every so often. I did not know they had a railroad museum.
Thanks for posting this. I have to be sure and see the museum next time we get to Kentucky.

Good Afternoon,
Sunny but chilly here today.
I looked at my 0--8-0 and NW2 and see that the current cost to replace is far above what I paid assuming I could even find these locos now. I may ask the shop owner who sells the consignment locos if there is any call for these engines esp. the 0-8-0. My thought a few years ago was that if we did move to a condo then I might still be able to set up a ISL and the switchers would be handy. I don't think we will be moving now at least not for 10 years or so.
Well today is gym day for me. I like going there on Sunday afternoon. I can rail fan while walking as the gym is right beside the CN west mainline. Mind you not sure how much traffic there will be as CN is largely shut down with the protests. Too political to discuss here.
Have a nice day,
CN Charlie
Extra strong Italian Roast coffee in a Apache Railway mug, please and thank you!
***Ken, a belated Happy Birthday to your wife.
***Garry, that's a nice sharp looking L&N locomotive.
Have a great day!
Cheers! Rob
Heartland Division CB&Q They have a short L&N passenger train with an EMD E8 and four passenger cars. They also have an L&N caboose and an army hospital car.

EVERYWHERE LOST; WE HUSTLE OUR CABOOSE FOR YOU
It's a cold Sunday morning, but should warm up by afternoon. No breakfast this morning -- it's donuts after church today.
Yesterday's train show was OK. Some big running layouts that were well-done. The vendor area was just OK. What struck me was the several vendors who were selling toys - Beeny Babies, plastic cars, etc. I guess selling tables helps fund the show. Not a lot of used N Scale train stuff which is what I wanted.
Busy day today and back to the city for dentist tomorrow.
Happy birthday to your wife, Ken. I also didn't see it the other day. Give Dirk a treat from our Dachshund Daisy.
So glad to be at home and last week is over.
My trip to Indianapolis next week was cancelled. I really hope the work turmoil is over and I can exhale.

Good Morning!
Janie, I´ll have my usual Sunday fare - crisp fried bacon, eggs, buttered toast, jams, a stake of hotcakes & maple syrup, and coffee, lots of it, please!
Today´s weather report for my neck of the woods:
I am sick and tired of this weather - I long for:
Ken - a belated to YOH! Somehow I missed it this time! MOH is 62 now and I am heading straight towards the 64! This is nearly 15 years on top of what my doc predicted 20 years ago! At that time, I weighed just as much as our bike riding friend from Arizona, maybe even a little less. That was not enough for the tall fellow I am. Currently, I am at 225 lbs., aiming at 210 or even down to 200, but sloooowly. This will help me reduce my back pain, which keeps me from exercising the way I should. It´s a bit of a vicious circle, which I am hoping to break.
No plans for the day, except helping Petra chop veggies for today´s meal.
Extra strong chamomile tea in a Georgia Pacific Railway mug, plesae.
Shared a vid of the Southern Pacific Daylight with Patti last evening. Pretty cool she is interested in trains and much like me finds them soothing to watch.
Some neat pics being shared. Keep it up guys!

when I posted earlier, I meant to say happy birthday to your wife.

I tried to help people out with that. Thats why I put pg 12 in parenthesis in my second post.
Oh well...
I'm beginning to realize that Windows 10 and sound decoders have a lot in common. There are so many things you have to change in order to get them to work the way you want.
Howdy ..
More about Kentucky railroads.
Years ago, the Illinois Central RR operated gold trains for the US Treasury to Fort Knox, KY. This was on the line between Louisville and Paducah. Soldiers guarded these trains.
Cheers.
I got home about an hour ago.
I took my girls to the Porter House in Lakeville.
We all had a beautiful end to our day there
I will definitely return to that place
