ROAR

LOCO_GUY
I take the photos I upload here and use photoshop to reduce the size by about 90% and then it uploads really fast. They are displayed from my own online server so that's a bit of a cheat - but the rules still apply.

Photos in the digital world have three different ways or resizing. You can resize the "canvas" 8x10, 5x7 etc etc. Or you can resize the number of pixels per inch.

Printed work on a printer wants 300 px per inch. Viewed images on a monitor work best with 100 - 120 pixels per inch (for flat screen) and 70 - 90 pxi for CRT.

Monitors cannot display more pixels than that and besides.

The third way has to do with the code itself, and how much compression or cheating is involved with the code. Pictures in the 40 -60 KB range will load nice and fast, Pictures in the 100 MB range will take longer and will annoy people using dial-up or dsl.

Your computer takes the .jpg photo (file) and translates it into essentiall a .bmp file to display it on the screen. A .bmp image is a dot by dot raster image, where a .jpg file is a compressed code that will pack a 10MB .bmp photo into a 40 KB packate. When you save in .jpg format you will frequently see a slider or other method to select how much compression you want to apply to the immage. The more compression, the smaller the file, but the more loss of detail you whill have when it is unpacked for viewing or printing.

THAT SAID, LION uses a program called "Image Resizer" to handle this process for us. ALL PHOTOS posted by said LION have been processed with Image Resizer. As can be seen in the link above, there is nothing to see or do on your computer, and no program to launch. In a file folder containing photos, you right click on a photo and select "Image Resizer" and the job is done. You can email or post them.

Good day all.

Lion, thank you the link on image resizer, I'll check it out soon for uploading photos.

I've finally converted to DCC at home! My LHS had a gently used, complete, NCE Power-Cab set for a reasonable price. After the 2-minute set up, I had a lot of fun playing with a pair of BLI Pennsy steamers (a K4 and an L1), having them go backwards, and forwards independently, and playing the various sounds.

Well  Diners, and welcome to a wondrous world of Spring white! (Spring White and the seven Blahs?)  Church was cancelled for the first time since winter 2014/15! So even if we had decided to try, it would have been of no avail. I truly hope the rest of the forecast (rain and rising temperatures) gets rid of it without our having to fire up the snow blower, not least because it’s wet and heavy and won’t throw well.
It took only a bit of trying to get back to sleep last night to realize that I had unnecessary switches and tracks for handling traffic from the interchange. I searched through my available switches this morning and found a suitable curved one to pop into the loop at the far LHS of the top of the “L”. This now gives access to a small yard which could perhaps be used not only for dropping off interchange cars, but also for classification. Eliminating a now unwanted crossover tidied things up on the main at the other end, near the tunnel. So, here’s the latest version of the “Final” track plan:
And in 3D

Mister Beasley:
We are also at the dawn of the Second Age of American Beermaking, and any decent bar is competing with all the others with selections of craft beers on tap.  That's the way to drink them.  Most of the time, I have dinner at home before going out, but sometimes I'll eat "pub fare" for a change of pace.
….which is returning us to the situation in the middle ages in Europe where each watering hole brewed their own (and the government [read the king’s] assessors tested quality by the seat of their pants – did they stick to the bench when sat on in a small puddle of the home’s brew?)  The landlord got to be know by the quality of their ale etc. I think that from an economic stand point it’s a refreshing change. IMHO the big breweries are too big.

Ray:
Another one of those things I just do not understand is why anyone would actually water a lawn?  Why????  Watering a lawn makes the darn thing grow...  Then you have have to go out and mow it.  I never would ever fertilize a lawn either.  That makes it grow faster so it needs to be mowed more often.  All that means wasted time that I could be using in the train room, $$$$ to pay for treated water and fuel for the mower.  Why would anyone want to do those things???  I just don't understand that.  I do water my vegetable garden, but that supplies me with fresh, organic, non GMO food to eat....
Like, preach it Brother!  We have our mowers both set on mulch. That does all the fertilizing we need. We have 4 rain barrels at the down spouts from various roofs, and when that’s all used up, and only when, then we water the flowers and veggies with the town water.

YGW: Great news you gave us there Angel
Der - Are the Quince "apples" in your area edible ? I saw on Nat Geo years ago that there is a tree in Africa that the monkeys like to eat the fruit of and it gets them drunk. They ended the show with a monkey holding his head in his lap - he had a hangover!
– Yes, but you wouldn’t want to try eating one like an apple. What we do (it is a combined op) is to juice them when ripe and make jelly / jam.  Those puppies will set your teeth seriously on edge if you go at them raw, even at their ripest. I think elephants also get drunk on fermented fruit – and that you wouldn’t want to film close up!

Chris: Now, THAT is a Dalek! Alien
Ja Bear:
der5997 not sure if you’re aware but the flag referendum resulted in keeping our flag, something I’m quite pleased about.
Yes, we caught that. We like the version which didn’t even make the cut – the fern with the red flash top left.
Following your development of your track plan has been interesting.
Happy to add interest to anyone’s day! What’s your opinion? Will this thing work in its latest format? I don’t want to cut track if the whole plan fundamentally flawed.

Garry:
Der John .... I'm trying to picture where that bridge is located. It has been 15 years since we were in NS.
Outdated  Images courtesy GoogleEarth. First please find Halifax NS on your map (Difficult for those of our neighbours to the South who believe the weather maps of the NE in most papers, which cut off the Maritime Provinces with a line due north from the easterly end of the Maine border! [clown] )  Then come east along the shore following the #107 Hwy to Musquodoboit Harbour, and the #7 Hwy thereafter until you get to Sheet Harbour. You’ll be entering this image as the road curves across the West River…  Continue east through the village to the East river.  The crossing shown is the now-replaced suspension bridge. The new bridge crosses just downstream. Look for the concrete abutment at the river bank roughly centre screen in this image. That is the west abutment of the old swing bridge I mentioned. The new bridge follows that alignment. I’ve left the co-ordinates at the bottom of the images if you want to do your own Google Earthing.
We still wish we could go back there.
Nothing stopping you from our end! What’s more, your $ gets you more right now. “Will ye no come back again?”

Henry:
but I suspect there are only a couple diners who are not on daily asprin,
We were, but gave it up in favour of ground cloves (in juice) as a natural substitute.( see http://www.antioxidants-for-health-and-longevity.com/benefits-of-cloves.html for instance) tastier too!
I've been battling computers all week.  My Windows 10 decided I did not have permission to save files to any of the usual places one would save a file, including the deskop.  Everytime I thought I had it fixed, a reboot would restore the problem.  I think it's related to Onedrive and I think it is now finally solved.
I’ve 2 downloads of W10 on my ‘puter. The first denied me access as you describe – and my fix was to re-install so that I could at least do something.  I had, before installing 10 the first time, backed everything up to a Seagate drive – so at least I had that to fall back on. So, it’s cack-handed, but the Seagate is where I store and work with all my files now.  But not for too much longer maybe as there is talk of my getting a tablet and ditching Windows entirely.  Chris, do you know if any Android tablets come with USB ports that would enable me to download from the Seagate? In the alternative, could I upload to the “Cloud” whatever/wherever that is, and download to a tablet? Babes in Toyland I’m afraid, so far as my knowledge of these things is concerned. (Except to say that I don’t particularly want to pay Apple for their logo!)
Lion: Thanks for the Image Resizer link. I’ve been adjusting and resizing in Office’s Picture Manager, down and dirty but it gets the job done. Your solution looks très élégant !
I’ll take a green tea and a couple  of ginger snaps over to the RC and see who drops by…and that would be Alvie!

What I like about the NCE is the programming on the main feature. Downside only 6 stored addresses –at least on the version I bought some years ago.

Most people don't realize it, but the largest American-owned brewery is Sam Adams.  The rest, Budweiser, Coors, Miller and the like, have all be bought up by international conglomerates.  Those conglomerates are also starting to buy up American craft breweries like Goose Island, which, despite the claims, has lost something since the buy-out.  Fortunately, for every brewery that gets bought, 2 more seem to spring up to meet the demand.

Who knows?  Maybe they'll even bring back beer reefers.

Eh? Who has bought whom. Better for a USA company to MERGE with a foregin company, and then move hedquarters to the foreign location to avoid USA corp taxes.

I could tell you more about this but Fr. Steve would not like it.

Evenin' folks!

Janie, I could use a cup of decaf to warm me a bit before bed....

The Batavia Show was great as always.  A lot of good vendors there and shoppers going out the door with full bags of purchases.  I even spent a few $$$ on a couple coal cars...  One is way too modern for my layout, but it is a car being sold by a Rochester club as a fund raiser.  I will assemble the kit and run it in the coal train and see how long it takes to have anyone notice that it is 20 years too modern for the layout.....  It will go along with several other intentional glitches i have there as jokes....

Got a couple more signatures during the show for the petition, and it looks like we will be able to get enough signatures to file the petition at the convention in May!

Catch you all tomorrow!  Have a great night...

Mornin' everyone!

Zoe, I need a bowl of raison bran cereal and a large pot of Seneca Lake Blend Dark Roast coffee to get me going this morning...

I slept in today and Blackie got his insulin two hours later than he did yesterday....  That should be OK as he only gets a tiny amount anyway now.  The two of them are supposed to visit the vet this thursday for the blood work to see how they are doing.  Of course that could change if the Body Shop decides that Thursday will be the day for repairing the PiP.  Want to get this finished ASAP.  Yesterday my gas milage on the way to Batavia was all of 39mpg...  That is 10 mpg off the rated mpg for the car at highway speed....  Of course with the major frost on the windsheild I kicked on the heat which fired uo the ICE, so it went the entire distance on gasoline...  The trip home was much better as I averaged 63mpg.  Guess it is downhill on the way home... LOL

Brother Elias, good to see you back in the "Stream" of things!

I am out the door to get a mile walk in over at the Feildhouse this morning.  then i have to stop at the Natural Foods Store for my month's supply of Organic Dark Roast Coffee (yes, Seneca Lake Blend and Marrakesh Express).

Later everyone!

Hello, der5997! Your track plan is looking better all the time. I noticed a couple things that had me curious, though.

First thing is that the turnout that leads to the two industries in the middle of the main loop. It looks like it sets up a bit of an S-curve there that may prove troublesome for longer-wheelbase locomotives and rolling stock. If it were me, I'd change that to a left-hand turnout instead of a right, and place it right after the bridge over (what I presume is) the waterway.

Second is the track to the small business along the front edge of the long leg of the L. It seems to cross over the main line loop twice, but I can't see where it connects to the main. Is it a non-functional display track?

Today I finished tuning my first piano. I certainly will need to pick up the pace if I am going to try and get paid for this. In total, it took me more than eight hours spread across multiple days to tune the piano. I could take that long as it was the Kawai upright in our house. My goal is to get good enough to be able to generate some post-retirement income.

Good evening all

Spent most of the weekend mowinhg, burning a brush pile, misc yard clean up...Burned teh crud out of my hand. At the edge of the burn pile there was a part od a limb that I thought had not burned. So I grab it only to realize that it had in fact been burning on the BOTTOM ! And the coals burned two of my fingers rather badly ! DUH !!! Bang Head

Train front I made an offer on a Bachman Spectrum J with the std tender and the extra tender for 25% below asked price and the ebay vender accepted. Cool Nice !!! Now I have several Js to pull multiple passenger runs !

Steve - Hello. I have a question. If I go to the forum first. Hit reply then the login in logo pops up. Problem is that the log in screen will not allow me to click in and log in ? Probably operator error on my part. ????

Richard - Practice will help you build up speed.

Howmus - LOL Really ! Lion and stream !

Mr. B - what is a beer reefer ?

Der - Thanks ! I was so excited all weekend about that. I hand out gospel tracts by the handfuls, share the truth, live the truth etc...It is so exciting to see fruit from all of the seed planting ! What does set your teeth on edge mean ! Sour ? Hard ?

Alvie - Nice ! Used NCE. How is it working ?

Henry - Crazy weather this weekend. I started mownig saturday morning - in snow flurries !!! Then strong winds ( made my eyes water ) then sunny skies...

Garry - They dont have piers out in front of the bridge so that ships will bump those first vs hitting the structural piers ?

Richard - How is it hanging "ole dude" ! : )

Bear - Thanks SIL hopefully will be able to keep improving. Aspirin I would have thought would last something like a hundred years ?

Grumpy - The tropical paradise I assume was "Vietnam" ?

Welp this Friday is the BIG day. Go in for the heart procedure.

Galaxy and Ulrich hope all is well with your health.

Ken - Howdy ! Just remember to reread the note I sent you when dealing with the "Jerry"

Good afternoon ..

Steven ... I think Der explained in an earlier post, he had a narrow guage line, and that would be the answer to your second question...

YGW .... The old bridge had a series of spans which formed an arch over the water. The ship went under one of the lowest spans and hit the span. It did not hit the pier. If he navigated under the highest span, the ship would have cleared and there would not have been an accident. ... There is no protection for the piers, and barges can sideswipe them if the barge tow is off course.

Der John .... I think when we drove our rental car from the Halifax airport to downtown, we did drive around the east end of Hallifax and went over a bridge. It's been several years since we did that.

Hi All.

Enjoying some spring weather today in Northern Virginia after having snowshowers on Saturday.  Think that was winters last visit until Nov/Dec.

Went to MB Klein today to purchase some figures, rolling stock and ESU sound decoder to continue my sound installation projects.

YGW - hope your burns are not severe; can be very painful.

Garry - hope all is well with you and your family.

All the best.

Afternoon guys

havent been in for awhile good to see you guys.

mr b still playing hockey on tuesday nights? I was able to get out with the fellas this winter also. But for the most part attention is now on baseball if the weather will cooperate. Do you get guys out that have a lot of pro stock equipment. We do, I am fortunate enough to have a couple friends that play in the nhl and other pro leagues so I don't have to worry about sticks and gloves.

ray good to still catch up on your posts, I always enjoy reading them.

as far as I have been I haven't done any layout work since the fall and really don't know when I will be back at the layout. Just don't have the motivation at the moment plus with any luck warm weather will be here soon and I can get back out on the bike

Good evening.  It has been a cool, wet day in the mid Ohio valley.  Luckily the dog walks occurred between showers.

Talked to my granddaughter who rowed this weekend in New Jersey for U or Alabama.  She said is was very cold and windy and they thought they were at a disadvantage to all the northeastern schools who routinely row in colder weather.  She said it was nice to get off the plain in Birmingham on the way home to 70 degree weather after a cold weekend.  Really proud of her as she was a walk on as a freshman and has worked really hard and is now rowing in the top varsity 8 boat.  She was also saying she believes she may get her first 4.0 grade average this semester and is really enjoying school since switching to business.

Had an enjoyable outing with the wife yesterday to celebrate a friend's 80's birthday.  They had enough food to feed half the country.  Wife talked to her this morning and she said they were able to donate most of the left over food to the local food pantry.

Layout front - spiked down more track in a curve to facilitate installing another turnout.  About ready for more roadbed painting before laying of a lot of ties.

Been doing lots of studying of British history as I am taking a learning in retirement class on British history and myths.  Lots of good youtube BBC and other shows on early British history.  I have to get the TV set hooked up so I can watch youtube on the big screen instead of the small laptop screen.

Healing prayers for those in need.  Uhlrich, hope you are feeling a little better.

If it were me, I'd change that to a left-hand turnout instead of a right, and place it right after the bridge over (what I presume is) the waterway.

– Thanks Steve, I’ll check that out. I’m just now trying real track on that part of the layout. So I shall be careful to see that I don’t have an “S” because well cars are going to be run over there.

…Later this evening – I’ve just laid that out and agree that it solves the potential “S” – so this is now what is drawn on the table. It may not be as curvy as Ulrich would like to see; but overall, I’m liking the way this thing is shaping up.    Don’t worry about the siding which seems to teeter on the edge of an abyss. That whole feature is not so much a river as a dry wash – really an excuse to have a bridge – which up to that point the layout lacked. Thanks for your help.Bow

Second is the track to the small business along the front edge of the long leg of the L. It seems to cross over the main line loop twice, but I can't see where it connects to the main. Is it a non-functional display track?

As Garry has correctly remembered, that little line is a Tourist N3n track and to one side of, or above, the main. So the crossings are not interferences.  Curiously, I realized last night as I was moving tunnel portals and so forth around the layout, that I had misjudged the height I’d need to achieve the first of those crossings. So, I’m going to have to begin the Z=N3n tracks in the area of what you took to be “small business”( = engine shed!) about 2 inches in the air! What in reality this means is that the tourist line will have to have an elevator / emergency stairs set up for the wee folk to get from the station on the main and/or road access from the town. I’ll cut slabs of Styrofoam 1” with the correct grade to build the sub-roadbed for that Z trackage. Doesn’t have to be very wide just smooth faced, as the slabs will be surrounded by other scenery. Should be fun.

YGW:

Have a look at Jeremiah 31:29&30 and I think it will answer your question!Idea

Garry:

Der John .... I think when we drove our rental car from the Halifax airport to downtown, we did drive around the east end of Halifax and went over a bridge. It's been several years since we did that.
That was likely the MacKay Bridge -  So this next time you have to widen your horizons and take the route out of Halifax which is Nova Scotia’s Best Kept Secret – the Eastern Shore!  Leave Halifax and venture forth! Worth the drive – and especially so in sunny weather. As I said, Google Earth will show you…

Well, seem to have run the clock down again. Must head for the hay. Goodnight all. Prayers for all on sick call, and with difficult family matters. Angel

Mr. B - what is a beer reefer ?

"Reefer" was a slang term for refrigerator cars.  I'm not sure if it's still used for today's mechanically-cooled cars, but it definintely was for the old ice-bunker cars, which kept the contents in the middle cold by filling the end compartments with ice through hatches in the top.  Breweries took advantage of these cars by having them painted as mobile advertising.

Some no-fun-allowed government agency eventually banned the practice of billboard advertising on freight cars.  The breweries probably weren't too upset, as they had found that putting "BEER" in big letters on a railroad car made it a prime target for thirsty thieves.

Beer reefers are a colorful addition to any Transition Era fleet.  Reefers in general can be used to add operational interest as well, as they must be "iced" at an icing platform, both just before or after loading and also in transit on a long haul.

An icing platform can be thought of as an "industry" with some special properties.  Like a rail-served stockyard for exercising and watering livestock, it is a stopover for through freights.  It's also one of those rare industries where it actually is realistic to move cars from the ice platform to a brewery or packing plant within the layout proper.  There were even "ice service" reefers that would deliver ice from elsewhere to the icing platforms.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Greetings everyone.  Cramming the final part of my semester and Business Administration diploma - then taxes and bookkeeping from my home office. Tonight is promising to be a long one - is there a 2 litre mocha available?  and a sub sandwich.  In a few weeks we are moving "south" (into the basement suite), when the renovations are done.  In May I'll have more time to crack the breeze a bit.  Take care all.

cheers, krump

Steve - Hello. I have a question. If I go to the forum first. Hit reply then the login in logo pops up. Problem is that the log in screen will not allow me to click in and log in ? Probably operator error on my part. ????

Nope, other people have encountered the same thing, since we changed our Customer Service department to Tampa and switched our login-authentication to their software. Don't know when they'll get to fixing it, either, because there are other issues they need to fix first. Huh? But anyway, you can get around it by hitting the "TAB" key on your keyboard to put the cursor in the text box so you can type in your info. Then "TAB" again to the password box.

JeremyB
mr b still playing hockey on tuesday nights? I was able to get out with the fellas this winter also. But for the most part attention is now on baseball if the weather will cooperate. Do you get guys out that have a lot of pro stock equipment. We do, I am fortunate enough to have a couple friends that play in the nhl and other pro leagues so I don't have to worry about sticks and gloves.

Yes, I'm still on the ice every Tuesday night.  I've got a fill-in job this Thursday night, too.

A few years ago, our other goalie retired and moved south.  He gave me all his extra sticks, most of which had never been used, so I haven't bought a stick in years.  They are good stuff.  He's one of those guys who always had to had top-of-the-line equipment.

After a year of really concentrating on exercise, I find my game is a lot better.

Hey all

Cold cloudy rainy spring day here in Northern Va. Things have been oddly quite from the office lately. Something must be keeping them very busy. That means I get a LOT done without all of the interuptions Yes

Train front. Purchased and recieved some small details. Trash cans, street lids, lanterns amd I paid for the J that I purchased on ebay. I also purchased a C unit by Atlas for $75. This weekend I hope to get my M&W up and running again. I have to replace a power pack that died.

Steve - Thanks at least I know it is not this "puter" Next question : What is the "Tab" key. You have to remember that I am the generation that is Pre "Beepers". We used to carry a pocket full of change and hit the pay phone booths. Which have now disappeared ( where does superman change now ? ! ) Thanks

Krump - What does "crack the breze" mean ?

Mr. B - OH ! I thought you were refering to some type of Beer Keg lol !

Der - LOL - Nice Okay I get it : )

Jim - Impressive ghrandaughter there. The apple doesnt fall to far from the tree does it !

Richard - So did the flying ant help you pick up speed ? Whistling

Jeremy - No MRRing !? No inclination ? Oh my ! I think a doc visit may be in order to see what ails you !

Reinhard - What is MB Klein ? Is there a Local hobby shop I do not know about ?

Garry - Thats nuts ! No pilings out in front of the piers ?

Gotta git back to w**k

Good Afternoon!

I had not been feeling well the past days, but there are little signs of improvement now. I can now move again, whereas I was close to being completely immobilzed yestaerday and the day before.

A big Sigh of relief!

The benefit was that I have lost about 5 pounds!

I am not yet in a position to resume w*rk on my layout. I am also not sure whether I will be able to complete it as my dexterity has suffered  quite a bit. In any case, I hope I can bring it up into a state I can sell it for a good price. I don´t think I can do without any MRRing, so whatever I will be able to do in the future must be "childproof"! Going back to my old Marklin days? Well, I still have this beauty:

I am surprized how heavy that diecast loco is, and how crisp some of the cast on detail and the lettering is. Quite extraordinary when you now that the loco was first marketed about 50 years ago!

Time will tell which route I´ll be able to go down.

Folks - the tab key is the key with those to little arrows pointing in opposite directions. It´s located in the upper side left of your key board.

Anybody care to join me for a Beer at the RC?

The tab key is located above the "Caps Lock" key on the far left of a traditional keyboard. It usually has an arrow (-->) on it.

Ham and cheese on rye Flo I am hungry early.

Couldn't sleep worth a lick last night.  Read for a while, piddled on the computer, went back to bed at 3 and someone's car alarm went off, again.

Painting the Heritage Furniture building.  I tried MM Wood in the little rectangles with a brush.  It looked too yellow and was in need of a second coat, so I masked off all those little rectangles and that took nearly all afternoon.  My airbrush nozzle arrived yesterday so I will spray it a darker color this afternoon.

Cracking the breeze.  Sounds like shooting the breeze.  In the context that he used it, he did not mean breaking the wind.

MB Klein = Modeltrainstuff.com  just north of Timonium MD off I-83

The tab key?  Aside from tabbing, or inserting a fix number of space with a word processor, it moves the cursor to the next fillable spot in most online forms.  If you press ALT and Tab at the same time, you can jump to other programs that are also running, say from your browser to Word to your track design program.

Wow man, push the windows button and the tab simulataneously, it's like the 60's man.

Mornin' everyone!

Zoe, I'll have a bowl of raison bran cereal and a pot of Seneca Lake....  What your out of it!!??  Harumph!  OK, lets try the Berkley Shark Bite blend then....  I'll try most anything once.  Sometimes twice.....

Weather gueser's say mostly cloudy today, but so far it has been mostlty bright sunshine out there... Not even noon yet and the panels on the roof have already made about 10 kWh today.  Solar noon is about 1:15 this afternoon at the moment, so depending on how much partly we get this afternoon, today could be a very good day.  Been down cellar doing my wash and getting to use some of "those" words.  Yep putting together a Laser Art Kit.  A Sears Kit House.  Period correct for my layout (not too new) and I keep dropping or poping the little laser cut pieces.  I just had two pieces of window stuff sitting sticky side up on the workbench and was cutting the acetate windows for it.  Cut the acetate and then couldn't find the window pieces....  One was on the floor and the other was stuck to my hand!  That took about 15 minutes and a lot of those words to accomplish...  I think I like scratch building better than kits anyway.  Need to make most of the buildings for the last area on the layout I am currently working on before finishing the hillsides so everything will fit.  Need to account for the mainline track and a couple siding as well....  Also figure I need to get that area pretty much done before finishing the second bridge over Keuka Creek.  Mostly for the ability to easily work in that area.

Ulrich good to see you, and great that you are finally starting to feel a bit better!  You know we worry about you!

Din't recall seeing Galaxy in the diner for a couple days.  Hope all is well with him!

Time to head downstairs and do some more with the wash and the kit...

Later!

Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO

We'll get there sooner or later!

"Krump - What does "crack the breze" mean ?"

YGW - step outside, think, engage in life, relax ... slow down :) , basically no time for anything other than studies and taxes, in the next 3 weeks (I chose my words to see who was awake - all good)

"Cracking the breeze.  Sounds like shooting the breeze.  In the context that he used it, he did not mean breaking the wind."   - yup Big Daddy, there are no noted plans for that :)

cheers, krump
