LION is constructing new signals for his railway...  Transit signals are a bit different from other railway signals: They have no targets, and frequently no hoods. Targets would be too big along the wayside, and who needs a hood in the tunnel. I guess they could use hoods out in the open, and they are beginning to do so, but most are all targetless and hoodless.

Thus the need for the LION to construct hims own signals.

The three position heads are from All Electronics, they were Green Green Yellow, but I of course changed that, I also cut them down in size with a motor tool. Common is the brass welding rod, and the pole is made of a black coffee stirrer, the kind that has two channels.

Any resemblance to Cortelyou Road is purely intentional...

LION is NOT in shadow. Him in plain sight. Here is said photo with the LION in it. You can click on the photo to make it bigger, but that is not cheating, since it was posted in full size on Sub Chat.

There is a monistary in upstate New York well known for their dog traing program, maybe they should be sent there.

An earlier picture of the LION as Smith 9-th Street. Much more of this station has been built since then. I'll need to go back and redo this shot!

The top level  with the red cars and the Budd DRC is the back side of the Coney Island yards, below that, on the up grade is the track leading to the 42nd Street station. Across the Bridge is the four track main line as it crosses the Gowanus Canal, which is roughed in but has gone no further. Below the canal is the Canal Street Station. Behind the Canal backdrop there is a two track decending line that loops the express trains between Lenox Avenue in Manhattan with Nevins Street in the Bronx.

There IS a LION in hiding.
