Here is an old photo of the grade crossing on HWY 32 from my website:

NYC F7 #1855 leads a short freight on the outer main line of the BRVRR. I even managed to catch the lights.

How about a grade crossing with lights and gates?

Remember its your railroad

Very nice!  I don't think I have any excursion trains per se, but here's a passenger train...

I guess I still need to learn the rules...  How about anybody with a great steel mill or industrial scene?

Hello Dave, haven't seen you here in ages!

Here is something from my old layout, my new one doesn't have any scenery on it yet:

Dave Vollmer .... Good to see you. This monthly thread was began by Jarell a year or two ago, and is very popular. Looks like you are quickly catching on as to how it works. Requests for next photo should be for common items to keep the thread from stalling. Those posting normally wait a while before posting another picture to allow more participation.

Here is a rail served bakery, Stayle Bread Company

Please show a short passenger train.

Time is up on the water tower with a steamer taking on water.

Show me something on your layout that would tell a loco crew what to do.

Show me something that took a steady hand to paint.

The white on the steps and handrails, the aluminum (silver) in the windows, and the black paint on the roof.  No masking, just a small brush and lotsa patience:

Show me something else you've home-painted using any medium [spray or brush]

There is a train order board partly visable in this photo behind the station. Also, the station is kit built and so are the diner-parlor car and the old bus.

Please show a tunnel portal.
