There has to be someone out there with a modern diesel, please???
The Pan Am diesel looks great!
I LOVE those cabooses. Actually I have one. Are they difficult to build? I have built a lot of Ambroid, Quality Craft, and Funaro kits and as far as soldering, I have scratchbuilt a 2-8-0 frame, boiler and cab from brass. Let me know about any gotchas or anything else to look out for.
Regards, Vic Bitleris

Something yellow, would this be concidered yellow enough?
I'll stretch the word "scrapped" a bit. .... This 2-6-0 was a "basket case". I intended to fully restore it but I only made it a static model which I pose for photos like this one. It is missing valve gear on the other side and it is missing a motor. There are other problems. The CB&Q had a few 2-6-0's which looked similar to this engine, but the brass model is really a CN prototype.
Please show the front end of a main line freight train.
This is the same scrap BigBoy but showing the front detail. This was a Monogram/Revell plastic kit that was missing the smokebox front and the tender, so I made lemonade out of it.

Anyone else have a 'scrapped' steam engine?
Life is what happens while you are making other plans!
Well, my steamers NEVER go on the scrap line, lol, but here's another articulated, a big Rio Grande L-131
Anybody else have a steamer heading for the scrap line? I sure don't. Tom
